Why is there cancer and people being born without certain senses? Because WE caused this upon ourselves. We have radio waves constantly running through our bodies that mankind created. This is why we are not living to be 900+ years anymore while we are creating all of these new electronics and "fun" gadgits that are harming our bodies and our offspring.

I think this is a brilliant idea. The second Catholics and other churches pay taxes .... all bets are off.

JUST TRY TO SILENCE US. We will have every right to violate the "separation of church and state" clause you bigots wield like a troll with a club. Because you clearly have no problem with the state interfering with the church on confirming the glories of homosex, but heaven forbid the church stick to hear guns and beliefs. And, you know, express them as guaranteed by the First Amendment.

In fact, if we pay taxes, I demand that the Bishops have a seat in every governing body in the United States. After all, we contribute to society, so we should have a voice as big as our tax dollars can buy.

And don't get your undies in a twist: this is YOUR logic.

If we don't pay taxes, we have to abide by the laws of the state. Fine. But when we start paying taxes, we don't have to do anything the state tells us.

Rein in your idiots, gay activists
Don't push this too far, gay men. There's a reason why gay men were brutally repressed in every society until the Western Societies of the past 20 years -- the potential forces of violence arrayed against you are infinitely greater than anything you can muster.

Everything you enjoy now is "dependent on the kindness of strangers" Stay tolerant to get tolerance. You may have pushed things as far as they can go. If so, live with it. If you break down religion you may also break down the institutions that restrain violence being visited on you.

I got no prollem with queers in the service, so long as nobody gets charged with hate crimes when they beat the shit out of one who wouldn't take no for an answer. I had that happen to me several times and know of others who had it happen to them -- the queer just wouldn't back off.

Camille Paglia makes it clear that queers (men) and lizzies (women) aren't the same. Queerness always and everywhere is about sex, and in quantities beyond the imagination of most straight men. It isn't unusual for a queer to have over a thousand sexual partners over a period of a year or two, and two or three a night, night in and night out.

Lizzieness is seldom about sex, but rather about emotional comfort.

The two -- queerness and lizzieness -- are about as antipodal as it's possible to be. Each takes a fundamental aspect of humanity -- sex on the one hand, emotional comfort on the other -- to an extreme that is not normal.

Oops. Sorry, PC crowd, but God is supposed to come first...A #1...in everything. Ahead of yourself, ahead of your spouse, ahead of your kids...(oh noez, he said in front of your KIDS!!!)...yup. That's how it's SUPPOSED to work.

Putting God second...even after your precious little munchkins...is a disaster waiting to happen.

(on the topic of evolution)

Science or not, if there are different viable versions of your prized theory, and a consensus can not be found by exacting evidence alone, then we leave the realm of true facts and figures, and enter into the realm of Faith and personal belief. If your theory is nothing more than a system of scientifically based personal beliefs, then how does it differ than what other believe?

You can tell yourself otherwise but know, what you learn in your temples built to academic study is little more than a properly dressed religion.. Theories and facts are not, nor do they equate to truth. So unless there is definitive proof for whatever your speaking of, then basically you are excising faith, dressed to be something more substantial. Just know it is the same faith we choose to give to God.

I find this article hilarious; it it perfectly typical of the so called "scientific" community and it's own religious bias against catastrophic events and for evolution. Here is conclusive evidence for powerful forces acting instataneously on the grand time scale ("just days"), but somehow that supports some evolutionary scale process for everything else that they "know" took billions of years. This type of evidence surely must be atypical since it is the only type of evidence that we ever can observe and therefore could never support a catastrophic event like a flood causing the Grand Canyon. Isn't that schizophrenic? I appreciate the laugh, though. The state-funded and mandated religion of evolution pervades all official scientific thinking against all evidence. Not one single evidence for macro-evolution EVER found and a shockingly huge abyss of "missing-links" and yet those who do not hold this religious view in the "scientific" community are ostracized and not permitted to enter and thrive in their field. "Ignorant on purpose" rules the day, but too bad we couldn't just follow the evidence.

Quote# 67789

[The ninth commandment says we should never bear false witness against our neighbor (or anyone). But if the Nazis are looking for Jews, and you know where they are, it would not be wrong to lie, in order to protect them, nor would this be bearing false witness “against” someone]

If we love God, we should obey Him (John 14:15). To love God first means to obey Him first—before looking at our neighbor. So, is the greater good trusting God when He says not to lie or trusting in our fallible, sinful minds about the uncertain future?

Consider this carefully. In the situation of a Nazi beating on the door, we have assumed a lie would save a life, but really we don’t know. So, one would be opting to lie and disobey God without the certainty of saving a life—keeping in mind that all are ultimately condemned to die physically. Besides, whether one lied or not may not have stopped the Nazi solders from searching the house anyway.

As Christians, we need to keep in mind that Jesus Christ reigns. All authority has been given to Him (Matthew 28:18), and He sits on the throne of God at the right hand of the Father (Acts 2:33; Hebrews 8:1). Nothing can happen without His say. Even Satan could not touch Peter without Christ’s approval (Luke 22:31). Regardless, if one were to lie or not, Jesus Christ is in control of timing every person’s life and able to discern our motives. It is not for us to worry over what might become, but rather to place our faith and obedience in Christ and to let Him do the reigning. For we do not know the future, whereas God has been telling the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10).

[In regards to a South Carolina judge's decision to ban the "I Believe" license plate featuring a cross and stained glass.]

So the persecution of Christians continues. Even in the nation that proclaims itself to be that of "freedom of speech".

It is quite ok, and no one listens to the discrimination complaints, on those who have Florida Seminole picture plates or Atlanta Braves plates or Cleveland Indians plates or any of the other many and sundry of plates that depict the American Indian in a negative light. Not to mention those who have plates that bear the Confederate flag, yes bet most of you God haters outside of Alabama, Georgia, Lousiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North & South Carolina, Tennesee & Virginia didn't know that they all have that option! Probably don't care either!

Yet the symbol of the most peaceful Man to ever walk the face of the Earth is not allowed to adorn a license plate?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Something is radically wrong here!!!!!!!!

The American Civil Liberties Union is threatening an Alabama school district over prohibiting a lesbian from taking her girlfriend to the prom.

Tharptown High School near Russellville told Cynthia Stewart she could not attend the prom in March with her girlfriend in tow. On behalf of the 17-year-old junior and her guardian, the ACLU is now demanding that school officials reverse their decision.

According to Mat Staver of Liberty Counsel, the case is typical of the ACLU in that "anything that is anti-moral, anti-religious liberty, and anti-freedom, you can always find them on the other side."

Q. But how does someone’s homosexual “marriage” threaten everyone else’s families?

A. Gay activists are not asking for just one homosexual marriage, even though they often personalize it by saying, “Don’t you interfere with my family and I won’t interfere with yours.” What the activists want is a new national policy saying that no longer is a mom and a dad any better than two moms or two dads. That policy would turn some very important principles upside down:

Marriage would become merely an emotional relationship that is flexible enough to include any grouping of loving adults. If it is fair for two men or two women to marry, why not three, or five, or 17? The terms “husband” and “wife” would become merely words with no meaning.

Parenthood would consist of any number of emotionally attached people who care for kids. “Mother” and “father” would become only words.

Gender would become nothing. The same-sex proposition cannot tolerate the idea that any real, deep and necessary differences exist between the sexes. It must rest on a “Mister Potato Head theory” of gender difference (same core, just interchangeable body parts). If real differences did exist, then men would need women and women would need men. Our children would learn that sexual differences are like mere personality types. Wait until your kids start bringing those papers home from school.
