[Re: Guitar Hero]

I have an 18 y.o son who has this game. He bought it himself and I hate the game and I can tell you his whole personality has changed since he's been playing. I pray for him, but he has changed. I don't allow Vice City in my house and he doesn't argue about that, but he won't give up the Guitar Hereo Game. I do think they are Satanic.

Global Warming is only for Atheists

The only people who believe in this garbage, are people who don't believe in God.

People who believe in God realize God is in control of the elements and it is God who is responsible for the order of the Universe.

God is going to put an end to the Universe with fire, reserved for the day of judgement and Ungodly men. This will happen but not anytime soon. Christ will rule the nations for 1,000 years and there will be peace on earth. Awhile after that reign is over, the earth will be destroyed.

The needed plan for planetary redemption? Since when does the planet need to be redeemed? OUR redeemer was here, left, and will come again. It seems that Gore is in the camp that believes that we have to make this planet perfect before Jesus will return. As if we could do anything that grand.

Praising God for His favor!!!!

We had a thunderstorm through the night and when I woke this morning I had no internet! I called my provider expecting to hear that someone wouldn't be out until tomorrow (its happened before) but they said that someone would be in the area this afternoon! Happy at that I decided to spend the morning with the Lord and His word. I gave my computer trouble over to the Lord and asked for His will to be done. A couple of hours later the man came and it turned out that the lightening had blown my moden and the internet card at the back of my computer (not something I knew much about until today). He could have left it at that, but didn't. He went away and came back with a new internet card, then he showed me how to fit it! He helped me get the computer up and running again without charge! The card itself cost $60, nevermind his time!

I'd been having problems with my computer these last two weeks. The internet has been playing up and causing me problems, but now with the new card its working great! I have none of the problems I had before!!!

The Lord was definately working in this whole thing!!! He turned the bad into good just as He has promised to do!!! Hallelujah thank you Lord for showing me favor!!! Thankyou for this kind man you sent to fix my computer! Thankyou for the opportunity to witness to him! May you bless him and his family abundantly and draw him into the fold!! All glory, honor and praise to you my most glorious Lord!! I adore you!!!

What I find funny is "religious" people are getting scared. When has the Bible and God ever been proven wrong. It has lasted how many thousands of years of people trying to disprove it? Plus the bible is the most historically sound documents in the world, with more manuscripts to back it up then Homer's Oddyssey. Don't believe, you try to disprove it. C.S. Lewis tried - look where he ended up.

[No one, that is my personal belief.

Just as your belief that god does exist and created reality is your personal belief.

My belief conforms to reality rather better than yours though because you believe that a book written by Bronze age nomads trumps your senses, and I believe that my senses and the findings of modern science trump the musings of bronze age goat herders.]

These "Bronze age nomads and goat herders" as you call them were the world's elite intellectuals. It is said that within a short period of the Babylonian Captivity, they were teaching Babylonian history and customs to the Babylonians in their Babylonian universities.
Their military stratagems were second to none. By making their farm tools out of brass, instead of bronze, they could switch these instruments into military armament at a moment's notice; and although they weren't as fast as our Minutemen, it's because our Minutemen were able to keep their armament apart from their farm implements. Thus, while appearing to be a pastoral, sheepish nation, and seemingly having "Invade Me" written on every city's signpost, they were the world's true shock-and-awe artists --- and still are.

The reason why the geologic evidence for the Flood is not seen by geologists and many Christians is not uniformatism. Geology also believed in great catastrophes in the past, like continent shifting, land rising out of the sea and so on. Thats how geologist explain marine fossils on mountains. There are websites - though I won't post them here - where you can look up Geology and geologic explanations for all the phenomena.

No, the reason is even simpler. It's because God removed all the clear evidence that would undoubtedly prove the flood. He only left evidence that could be interpreted in different ways, with or without flood.

He even changed evidence, for instance he gave the different sediment layers in the Grand Canyon different magnetic orientations. This way He suggested that they were deposited during a long time period in which the earth magnetic field changed several times.

No, you will ask - why did God do that? Why did he give geologists the opportunity to interpret the earth history in a different way without the Genesis Flood?

It's because he wants us to believe, not to know. Belief is based on a personal decision. If we had all sorts of evidence proving supernatural events, we wouldn't have this choice anymore. We were force to believe, but God wants our belief be based not of force but on free will and on a personal choice.

From now until the latter part of 2008, many prophecies are going to begin to be fulfilled, especially the Seven Thunders of the Book of Revelation, which the apostle John saw but was restricted from recording. Those thunders are revealed in this book, as well as detailed accounts of the final three and one-half years of man's self-rule on earth, which are recorded in the account of the Seventh Seal of Revelation.

Some of these prophecies concern the demise of the United States over the next year, which will be followed by man's final world war. This last war will be the result of clashing religions and the governments they sway.

Billions will die!

A few days ago in a thrift store I was looking at a “50th Anniversary Issue” of “Reader’s Digest” Magazine, from 1972. 50 years before the founder of the publication said that he had dedicated himself to the betterment of mankind. -Ah, that is the error. It is important. But it focuses on what would be the second of Christ’s commandments, without primarily exalting the first! So he fell (IMHO) into error. He may have had the best of intentions, but his priorities were not correctly balanced.

I also celebrate The Feast of Dedication, because it provides an opportunity to talk about Messiah, and I also celebrate Christmas for the same reason. They are both open doors from the Lord to present the Gospel! The Lord gave me a ‘personal’ understanding of how this works: If it wasn’t for the Christmas celebrations, I wouldn’t have heard about Jesus being born when I was a very small child, because my parents were heathen evolutionists.

Jeshurun, a loud growl sounds very ominous. I have encountered that before with a teenage boy who threatened to kill me--because I told him not to curse and threaten my little boys when they were 7 and 10. After the boy finished threatening me, he had his mom come to my house to threaten me also. She was quite handy with a gun (the police told us.) The Lord protected me and my boys through all of this. I found out from the police that they were both dangerous.

The boy stopped in front of our driveway and growled and growled and then finally started spitting at us (even though we were many, many feet from the road.)

I see most are wishing everyone for Christmas. I was wondering if people know the true meaning of this festival? The pagan ritual of Saturnalia, which the Catholics “made” Christian, which the Protestants failed to “protest” against, of which the story, the peripherals (trees, yuletide log, presents, mistletoe, Santa, etc), are all terribly pagan, idolatrous and thus evil? My wife and I refuse to celebrate this act of blasphemy - despite the “good intentions” one may claim to have - and are being percecuted as a result!

Yeah well; don't ask those dipshit atheists in Frisco running their zoo to hold your dinosaurs. They have one of the larger zoos in the world and all those queers and atheists couldn't figure out an 18 foot wall was only 12 feet tall.

Just like they didn't count on AIDS when they declared the commandment for sexual purity null and void. That's cost them 30 million dead so far with 40 million more sick and gonna die.
Oh yeah their 'atheist wisdom' didn't foresee that 40% of young adult women would be infected with HPV and candidates for more venereal cancers, either.

Oh yeah and that communist Atheism thing didn't work out too well in Russia and the East Bloc either, with shattered lives and 30 million dead.

Oh yeah and those atheists in charge of Maoist communism arent doing too well feeding people poison in food they buy, putting lead in children's toys, and harvesting those human organs out of religious & political prisoners, either.

And what about that Chinese internet? Yeah, that freedom from religion's just rolling right along. Which is why the average worker over there makes about six bucks a day.

Atheists are the most vile and evil scum on the earth and every time one dies I thank the Lord my God Almighty for getting the putrid dipshits off my planet.

[How do athiest live with themselves.]

I am not atheist.
You are correct to a degree. Christians (not all that call themselves this are this) do die the physical death, except those that will be caught up in the rapture, they will be transformed. You can read the Bible and get this information, I am not able to remember exactly where at this time. Yes, those that have Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will have everlasting life.
As far as the atheists, well they will have to suffer along with the other none-believers in the pits of hell ( that is ever expanding, as it is stated in the Bible ). I pray that they will come to realization before it is eternally to late.

You all gave me enough points to make a few assumptions (not conclusion). Regardless of how many times you try to prove that Athiest isn't a religion. There are a few things you should realize by now. I lost count on how many times you all mentioned "Athiest do not have a set of religious belief or practice"

Doesn't that imply that "Athiest are people who do not believe in following a set of rules and practise" ? Again, "Athiest do not believe in the existance of God". If you look at this statement closely you will realise this .

"Athiest are people who believe that there is no God". Notice how this contrarary happens when we least notice it?

If you perform or live a life believing in what you believe. which is there is no god. Than it would eventually evolve when everyone who shares the same believe that there is no good. SO basically it becomes a "religion" because more then 1 person shares the same feeling and believe .

God our Father is the Almighty, All-Knowing, One True and Ever-Living God.
If you falsely and wrongfully believe that your rights and freedoms come from man-made constitutions, and you put your faith (trust) in them expecting a mere written document to guarantee those rights and freedoms, then you are practicing a form of idolatry, which is the worshipping of false gods, and the breaking of the first and most important Commandment. What is the force behind this paper god? Does a piece of paper have the power to protect and defend you, and deliver your enemies into your hands? Not only that, but the hero-worship of the so-called "founding fathers" (Matt. 23:9) is also idolatry. If you are a "constitution restorationist" is it now becoming obvious to you why God would only be helping you fight evil to a certain point, but NOT fully blessing your efforts, and NOT leading you on to total victory over the Babylonian Hidden Hand system?

So as an Athiest you wouldnt go and insult Muhammed openly in a Muslim country.mmmmmmmmmm so your so called conviction of athieism is just a matter of convenience...you must not really believe in your religion or have a real conviction that there is no God..what do you really believe then???? You just dont have any idea what you are doing do you??? True Christians have a true conviction (that is a belief so powerful that they will die for it) athiest have nothing to die for so I guess they have nothing to live for either.....what a hopeless religion...
Athieism is a religion ...you believe that there is not a god..you worship that believe...who is the founder of athieism??? who ever it is you worship that philosophy and the teachings of that false prophet...I will continue to pray that you will find truth and come to know who God is what He has done for you.

[From a General Authority of the LDS Church, in the Church's official magazine]

Naturalism’s explanations of the origins of life and the miracle of our bodies often appear convoluted when placed side by side with the simple truths of the revealed word and divine scripture.

With its 107 million cells, connected to the brain by over 1 million neurons, the eye is more perfect than any camera ever invented. It caused Charles Darwin to humbly admit, “That the eye with all its inimitable contrivances ... could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest sense.”

[...]

This earth departs from its orbit of the sun by only one-ninth of an inch every 18 miles. If, instead, it changed by one-tenth of an inch every 18 miles, we would all freeze to death. If it changed by one-eighth of an inch, we would all be incinerated. Did this all happen by accident?

[...]

The doubter requires too much of us when he asks us to believe that the miracles of eyes and hands and DNA and order in the universe all happened by chance. The passage of time, even long intervals of time, is not a “cause” and provides no answers without an intelligent designer.

And if you deny It, you will be destroyed by your own making. All Satan did was feed you many lies and prove you are an obvious sucker that has bought into this shallow thinking. Lies and people kill people, not God, not guns. Suckers like you do deserve death. But you can also save yourself by believing in Who Jesus said He was. I feel sorry for your shallow, tainted brain.
