stephon Clark, the 22-year-old black man shot and killed by Sacramento police earlier this month, was shot eight times, at least six in the back, an independent autopsy commissioned by Clark's family found.

Family lawyer Benjamin Crump said the findings of the family's autopsy contradict the narrative put forth by the Sacramento Police Department.

The results were released at a Friday news conference by forensic pathologist Dr. Bennet Omalu, who conducted the autopsy.

The first wound was to Clark's side, which led Omalu to conclude Clark was facing the house when he was first shot. Six other shots hit him from behind and one in the thigh. The Sacramento Police Department has said Clark was shot at 20 times.

He did not deserve to die.

But...

He was wandering around destroying property (damaged several vehicles and police witnessed him shatter a glass door).
He ran when the police confronted him.
He did have an object in his hand (confirmed by the video - they run up to him and the cell phone is on the ground).
We live in a society where it is very easy to have access to guns - and he lived in a area with a lot of violent crime.
Like so many young men, he was raised in a broken home with no father and had a criminal record already. He also had two children with a woman he wasn't married to and had just gotten out of jail a month ago.

This is one of those bad outcomes that occurs from things in our society that are broken. I do not believe it is fair to put it all on the cops.

So if they muted their cameras thought they fucked up and then decided "we need to get our cover story right" you wouldn't care about that?

I would care about that. But I also believe that an officer who is acting in total good faith but has just done something that he realized might get himself put in jail, might want to have an off the record conversation.

The video doesn't really show what happened, except it does clearly show that there was a cell phone under him on the ground, indicating that there was an object in his hand.

It also shows cops who are afraid to approach him after many shots were fired, checking each other to see if they were hit, etc. Acting totally in accordance with how they should act if he had a gun.

For example, some unpopular opinions I have that I'll never say in public:

1. There probably isn't a rape culture: There's a culture where we let 18 year olds get black out drunk and men are encouraged to be the aggressors in sexual encounters, so bad things happen. But throwing 18 year old men in jail for years at a time for groping someone is not the right answer.

2. 77 cents on the dollar is a nonsense statistic: it doesn't adjust for hours worked, career, flexibility, etc. If you adjust for those things it's more like 98 cents on the dollar, and there's very little evidence of sexism in the workplace. The debate should be about whether it makes sense that women tend to take lower paying jobs with more flexible hours because of their role in childcare.

3. The shooting of black men is a distraction from the real issue. The real issue is lack of access to education and opportunity for blacks that leads to them ending up on the street. Many of the victims of police attacks were criminals who were pulled over/scared officers for a reason. We're asking the police to do too much to fix the problems created by our educational system.

God Laughs At The Critics Of Christians, For He Seeth Their Day Of Reckoning Coming

Proverbs 16:27 , “An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire.”

The Bible warns that we will all be judged in eternity according to our own standards. We will be judged according to how we treated and judged OTHERS. A lot of people hate and hurt Christians, and their day of reckoning is coming. Psalms 37:12-13, “The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth. The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.” All of the hypocrites who are casting stones of hateful criticism against fundamental Bible-preachers today (all of whom have been less-than-perfect sinners just like everyone else), will face the harsh and merciless judgment of God in retaliation for their own merciless judgment of God's children. If you condemn the righteous, but justify the wicked, you have condemned yourself by your own hypocrisy! There is much criticism on the internet against Christian believers, especially against fundamentalist preachers of the Word of God.

James 4:12, “There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?” I condemn no man. I am the biggest sinner that I know (and so are you, in your own eyes, if you're right with God). If it weren't for God's wondrous and abundant grace, I'd spend eternity in the Lake of Fire. Thank God the Father for the precious gift of Jesus, His only begotten Son, Who bled and died on the cross for my sins, was buried, and raised-up the third day from the dead as my heavenly High Priest (Romans 8:34; Hebrews 4:15-16)! What a Savior!!!

One of my favorite Scripture passages is from Romans 2:1-3, “Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?” Everyone is a woeful sinner. Don't judge others because they sin differently than you do. There is a hateful spirit of pride, arrogance and self-righteousness that is prevalent in cyberspace, condemning the righteous for any and every sin, mistake and word that comes out of their mouth. God will TORTURE the wicked.

I'm concerned with how bloodthirsty liberals get over a wrongful shooting by a cop.

To me the crime merits far less of a punishment than a normal person committing the same offense.
As part of a cop's job, he's routinely sent into dangerous situations that most of us will never encounter - it's extremely stressful. It's an unfortunate reality that he's more likely to panic and shoot someone that your average joe is.

Obviously, someone who shoots someone illegally while working as a cop needs to be fired immediately, and I think a short jail term is appropriate, but by no means do I think he deserves to be put on trial for murder.

Spring Valley school officer caught on video slamming South Carolina student to ground during arrest; officer pulled from school
A South Carolina sheriff's deputy has been pulled from the school where he worked as a resource officer after video showed him slamming a student to the ground while classmates watched in horror.
Deputy Ben Fields was caught on camera at Spring Valley High School in Columbia ordering a student out of her seat. The imposing officer, who is a powerlifter in his free time, stands over her desk and tells the student, "either you're coming with me or I'll make you." Without giving her time to get up, he grabs her and flips her over, slamming her, and her desk, onto the ground.

She wasn't staying it her seat to learn, she was staying in it to be spiteful. This holds up the class from learning and for that I have zero sympathy for her. Was it too much force? No. Better to be quick like this instead of slowly which would give her time to grab hold of objects that make it harder for the officer.

Why do some adult children cut off their mother? Why can other children with similar struggles stay connected through thick and thin?”

There are two schools of thought...

This is my belief on the subject: I believe that no matter what happens, your mother is your mother. The Ten Commandments state to honor thy father and thy mother. As a daughter, I had many stormy days with my mom, but I would never think to cut her off completely. I would fight, but I would never take flight! And, right or wrong, I was the one who apologized, not my mother. Period.

Quote# 140771

In this case I think the punishment he received is a clear deterrent... his bright future is totally gone, everyone who sees the case is not thinking, hell, I'll only get 6 months and be a sex offender forever, who cares let's do this! So the deterrent threshold is met in my opinion.

The real question is, is he irredeemable? And that's where you have to try to get a sense of who he is, and where being a Stanford swimmer comes into play in my opinion. He doesn't just happen to "swim real good", he had to work extremely hard at it (and academically as well). I think it means he's less likely to be a sociopath - you don't get to swim at Stanford if you're someone who is incapable of following the rules of society.

That's also where the drunken freshman factor comes into play for me. And this is all theorizing, but an elite swimmer with Olympic hopes probably had very strict parents - you don't become a good mid distance swimmer without extreme discipline, so there's a chance he never had a drink before college. Then you get to college and alcohol and women are everywhere.

I was a swimmer in college, I never had a drink before I got there. The first event the team had was in theory supposed to be a "workout", but when we got to the event, there was a keg and alcohol pressed on the freshmen until several threw up. The upperclassmen found it funny (and I did as well the next few years as an upperclassman). So you're a freshman, you're suddenly hammered and have no idea how to handle your liquor, and there's all these hookups happening. And men are taught to initiate these encounters and constantly push the envelope (this is just true; try being a man waiting for a woman to approach you and see how much success you have).

Again, the standard here is reasonable doubt, so I see it as a drunk freshman who's suddenly learning that some women might like having sex with him, but only if he initiates everything. He makes out with a girl who's blackout drunk, and takes things way too far.

I think the punishment is too severe, mostly because I don't see a drunk 18 year old thrust into that culture who did a terrible thing as totally irredeemable. It's also because, as others have said, the majority of the punishment happens outside the 6 month jail term, even ignoring the social media hate that's following him around too.

The registered sex offender and felon status he'll carry with him for the rest of his life means many of the opportunities formerly open to him are closed forever. There's nothing he can do to change his status. As an 18 year old it's illegal for him to go back to his high school and there are large areas where he is prevented from going. Most companies will never hire him due to the "Have you ever been convicted of a felony?" screening question. His life is ruined. But people want more.

It's interesting to me that liberals are quick to talk about how laws in this country are so extreme and how we have an incarceration/recidivism problem, but that sex crimes bring out such bloodlust. I'd hope we could be more forgiving generally. And yes, I'd have no problem with a longer jail sentence (say 1-2 years) if the sex offender status was something that could be forgiven over time for a first offender.

A new law in Iran that allows men to marry their adopted daughters at the age of 13 has caused major concern that the country's new president is not as progressive as originally thought.

As far as I'm concerned, if you've been through puberty, you're ready for sex. Let's face it, people at that age are going to do it whether they're supposed to or not. The only reason it's illegal is because we decided to make it so, not because there's any legitimate sense behind it. People change physically and mentally through their entire lives, there's no one age where someone is suddenly mature enough to not be taken advantage of. Adults get taken advantage of and played all the time, that doesn't mean they're getting raped.

Cheerleader, Molly Shattuck, Rapes 15-year-old boy, has to spend weekends in jail.

Another fine example of why statutory rape laws are largely bogus, and age of consent in general is a flawed system. In most of these cases the teenager knows exactly what is going on, and loves every second of it either way. And before anyone suggests it since they always do, I would feel the same if the genders were reversed. An adult man hooking up with a teenage girl, an adult woman hooking up with a teenage boy. It makes no difference to me either way, because it should not be a crime at all in my opinion. People that age are going to be having sex anyway, so there is no point punishing their partners over something harmless.

If it were up to me, the first time someone committed a crime, it would be (depending on the crime) however much time in jail or prison, and a fine. If that person later commits the same crime (so any repeat offender of anything) then they would be executed. If the penalty for crime was greater, people would be less likely to do it. The only problem I really see with my idea is with rape. Too often these days is that getting falsely accused, and if the people had sex, there is no way to really prove whether it was or was not forced. As an anti feminist, I would hate a system where if a guy gets unlucky and dates two bitches who accuse him of rape after they break up, he gets executed.

IGEORGETOWN, Texas – A 19-year-old Texas man who could face years in prison for making brownies laced with marijuana and hash oil said Wednesday he remains scared despite new evidence that his attorney believes should reduce the charges.

State seizes 11-year-old & arrests mother after he defends medical marijuana
On March 24, cannabis oil activist Shona Banda‘s life was flipped upside-down after her son was taken from her by the State of Kansas. The ordeal started when police and counselors at her 11-year-old son’s school conducted a drug education class. Her son, who had previously lived in Colorado for a period of time, disagreed with some of the anti-pot points that were being made by school officials. “My son says different things like my ‘Mom calls it cannabis and not marijuana.’ He let them know how educated he was on the facts,” said Banda in an exclusive interview... Banda successfully treated her own Crohn’s disease with cannabis oil.

Seems perfectly fair to me, seeing as she proved herself to be an unfit parent. Legal or not, there is no excuse for drugs, much less around a child.

Never was a fan of Cosby, but this reeks of opportunism.

I mean, it's all set up for profit, just look:

1. These girls were under the influence of something during sex.
2. Cosby is rich.
3. All of these events happened a long time ago.
4. The current cultural climate is extremely sympathetic to rape victims.

Literally all these women have to do is claim that they didn't consent to the drug taking, and Cosby becomes a serial rapist, and they all profit. There is essentially no risk for these women to make these claims, because they can't be proven wrong. On the other hand, Cosby is already ruined in both life and legacy.

Trauma is what you make of it, in most cases. In our culture of hyper-victimization, the trauma is many times worse than it would be in a culture that promotes having the strength to simply overcome adversity.

Rape itself - in most cases - is not nearly as traumatic as many, many other crimes. It's basically just sex that you don't want to have. Really, it's far from the worst that can happen to you. But we've made it into something different - something much worse than it actually is. That's the real 'rape culture' - this perpetuation of self-victimization and appeals to authority.

Of course there are many different types of rape. Some are worse than others. Violent, damaging rape is much worse than simple forced penetration. We treat them the same, we treat all of them as though they're the worst thing that could happen. It's insulting to victims of the most destructive rapes, and it's a destructive ideology itself.

Quote# 140755

Some people need to remember many 13 year olds nowadays look 18 with the way they dress and do their makeup. I agree with his sentencing to some extent... Yes, 41 and 13 is beyond sick, but hear me out. This happens a lot... young teenagers wanting sex with someone older, more experienced, or just for bragging rights. They egg them on and many men cave under the pressure. Yes, they are adults and should know between right and wrong however everyone has moments of weakness especially when it comes to sex. However, no matter how you put it they simply didn't rape them.

Why is it that someone get the same sentence for:
1) 41 year old flat out raping a 13 year old.
2) 41 year old having sex with a 13 year old that wanted too.

Your talking about 2 totally different animals here. Both should be punished, I fully agree, but no where near the same. The first should be 10+ years in a maximum security prison, the second should be more around 1-2 years in a minimum security correctional facility... and if/when they do it again charge them with some jail time.

As for girls that are 16-17 and totally lie to older men about their age, I feel the guy should get off with a warning at most. They aren't kids, they knew what they were doing. 16-17 is old enough to be charged as an adult so why is it considered a kid when it comes to sex? The law shouldn't be gray like this, either 16-17 is an adult or it isn't.

She's a minor. She can't consent. Its statutory rape.
]
How can a minor not consent to something? Do you really think people under 18 have the brains of a new born baby? Even a pet can consent to something. 16-17 year olds are charged as adults for murder, even 15 in some rare cases, yet if you have mutual sex with one you go to jail for statutory rape because "they couldn't consent".

The law is totally wrong here. It contradicts itself. Not to mention legal age is much lower in some other countries, and no one seems to have problems with it there. It was also much lower in America hundreds of years ago. It wasn't uncommon for a 13-14 year old to have kid(s), and raise them. It still isn't uncommon in some countries. Yet.. some people believe nowadays a 13 year old can't even consent to something?

May I remind people that some developed nations such as Japan has the age of consent of 13?

Yeah, and it's still freaking creepy. Unless you are saying you want the age of consent changed in UK, which I think I read you don't, is really a moot point.

The age of consent is pretty high in America. When I was 15 I started dating a 12 year old, and no it wasn't a sexual relationship at that age. It was my first girlfriend ever and we were friends for 2 years before that. Shortly after I turned 16, making our age gap 4 years, but then she'd turn 13 about a month later. No one had any problems with it, not even her parents because they knew I was a good guy.

Then 2 years went by and we were still seeing each other. The day I turned 18 she was 14, turning 15 in a month. A few days after my 18th birthday her parents all a sudden did not approve of the relationship because it was now illegal according to law. We broke up, I haven't seen her in 8 years.. and it still depresses me to this day.

Why does a once legal relationship become illegal simply because we BOTH got older? Not only was she my GF, but she was my best friend. I cared greatly for her, but according to society the relationship was all a sudden wrong over night. After my experience I will never support the current age of consent laws.

Eight Years of Bliss With the Father

So He moved me into the next experience and level of relationship with His Father beyond where I had been with Him as the Son of God. I did not know that it could get any greater, but for the next eight years, I would start to have continual encounters, not only with Jesus face to face but now also with the Father. They had both come to make their abode and living arrangements with me as Jesus had said in the book of John:

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him (John 14:23).

You don't get it. She says that if you go that far with someone that will fuck you no matter what, you can't say no. It just won't work and there's not much you can do other than physically push the other person away (which in most cases won't work for obvious physical reasons). Not all men can switch their primal instincts to procreate off at will. You have to have the mental fortitude as a woman to decide whether you'll go that far before you actually do. It is exactly why she's saying drinking equivalently with men is not about "equal rights" it's about avoiding stupid situations where a "no, i've changed my mind" won't make everything go away. Let's face it, when you add alcohol to the equation, all reasons get thrown out the window.

Teacher who seduced 13-year-old student with saucy yoga selfies facing jail time

I don't really see a problem with this. I'm not sure I can quite put my finger on where the damage is being done. Perhaps by the society that condemns them.

Yup, society seems to have a super-hate against something even if it causes no damage and no one was harmed. This kid wasn't raped. It was mutual and it should be up to the parents to decide if they want to press charges against her or not. Is this kid going to end up on pills in a mental institution because of this? No.

When I was 13 about half my friends had already had oral sex and about half of those had sex. Saying a 13 year old doesn't understand sex is just a complete joke. Even today, 13 year olds are raising entire families in some countries, and even in the earlier days of the USA a 13 year old getting married and having a family was not uncommon.

Society makes sex out to be way bigger deal than it really is, and tends to think kids are dumber than they really are. When a 15 year old kills someone, they are deemed smart enough to be charged as an adult... but when it comes to sex they aren't smart enough to comprehend that. Some real screwed up laws and viewpoints out there in my opinion.

A teenager having mutual safe sex isn't going to change or affect them. I don't view it as rape when it's mutual, I view it as an adult making a bad choice. The parents should be able to press charges and get a restraining order, and she should never be able to teach again, but ruining someone's life over this is a joke.

If someone wants to translate that into pedo supporter, than whatever, just proving how dense some people are when it comes to this topic. Plus by definiton this is ephebophilia, but society will label it as pedophilia. Grouping this women with the same people who rape 2 year olds is not OK. Pedos who act on their desires deserve the death sentence, but this women is not a pedo.

Quote# 140750

Christianity might not die out completely. I think there will still be “bible belt areas” in America and pockets of Christians throughout the West but in many ways it has lost its prominence and this is having a far reaching impact on our culture.

The West was built with Christianity as the basis for its value system. Religion might not be fashionable to some academics but few can deny it played an important role in developing the ethics of our civilization. If you take away the Christian belief system, you are left with laws and a culture that is human-centered. That does not sound like such a bad thing until you realize that the laws can now be changed arbitrarily as there is no “truth” anymore (truth becomes the consensus of politicians) and human nature has a destructive dark side we can’t always control. Although people argue we can still have ethical thinking in a godless post-modernist society, ultimately anything is permitted. All you need to do is run a successful propaganda campaign and you can convince large numbers of people to follow insanity. We have seen this in Communist countries and fascist nations like Nazi Germany.

So if you take out Christianity, we are no longer treating life as a creation of God but as a material thing that can be manipulated by the new power structure. Any existing ethics can be thrown out the window, if you can convince people it is necessary.

Sadly, it is very easy to make radicals out of people. You need only make them desperate and make them feel oppressed and they will follow a new dogma that is sometimes very destructive.

People might be happy that the Church is dying out because they have seen it as an oppressor (referencing the Spanish inquisition, intolerance to early scientists, etc, etc) but Christianity was not designed to be oppressive. It is a system for living that is supposed to allow for love between people.

Church leaders have certainly made mistakes but if reference points for our lawmakers and media now become arbitrary, anything goes.

For example, Do you want to be a new gender? Forget about the biology or god’s creation, you can just make a gender up. For example, you could become a “Mermadist” and get surgical re-fitting for fish fins or whatever turns you on!

Americanization as the questioner mentions, is not really the true American culture, it is a commercialized, post-industrial big business world that first developed in the US and UK. Americanization is McDonald’s, Monsanto and corporate mass media selling you lies. In such a culture, a persons worth is decided by their bank account and not their virtue or value as a person.

Sadly, churches are dying out while fast food and alcohol/drug taking are on the rise. Instead of soul food, we now have refined sugar, fried food and toxins. Music is no longer about the glory of the Creator and creation but all about self-righteousness. The quality of the music has gone from Bach and Mozart to Justin Beiber and Max Martin. Science will be used to give people fish fins or whatever Frankenstein-like perversion of nature Monsanto can conceive of for profit. We have people who have decided an entire gender is bad and anything they say is not to be trusted. These same people are deciding legislation and how your child is to be educated. Ideas such as, “God is the asshole to blame for making my life suck” are gaining root in immature minds.

The truth is, without a spiritual structure in a society, the civilization will fall as did the Greco-Roman world. The people turned away form the gods and the barbarians invaded and conquered.

God is your protector and is not to blame for the fact you or others have turned away. In a “monetized” and “godless” world, humanity becomes its own worst enemy where vice becomes the norm and “family values” are measured in monetary terms.

He still said Sin no more. He never condoned our sins.

Marriage is a Sacrament, a covenant, that cannot be broken as you said. But Jesus also very clearly articulated marriage between a man an woman in Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition. "He didn't make a treatise on the definition of marriage" He did, here is part of it.. you can read more in the Catechism:

THE SACRAMENT OF MATRIMONY
1601 "The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament."84
I. MARRIAGE IN GOD'S PLAN
1602 Sacred Scripture begins with the creation of man and woman in the image and likeness of God and concludes with a vision of "the wedding-feast of the Lamb."85 Scripture speaks throughout of marriage and its "mystery," its institution and the meaning God has given it, its origin and its end, its various realizations throughout the history of salvation, the difficulties arising from sin and its renewal "in the Lord" in the New Covenant of Christ and the Church.86

So with the authority Jesus bestowed to compose infallible doctrine for us, He did in fact write it into law defining marriage for us. "a text above the Master who interprets it for all human beings, then and now" God is the Word, the word became flesh via Jesus, and then the Word became written via apostolic succession. The Master appointed and chooses the human beings who interpret it for us. His kingdom is built on a hierarchy both here and and in heaven. It's the only way to have unity and Full Communion with Him.

In terms of being welcoming and being generally kind, compassionate, and not judgmental, I have no quams with how you understand Jesus. But don't think God is a father without rules. SJW seeks to violate God's laws and instructions on how to live a moral life and get your soul into heaven. Condoning sin means you don't care about your neighbor's soul as long as he/she is happy and comfortable in this life. You were made for greatness, not comfort. We are all called to carry a cross.

So, would you bang your 7yo daugher, if she agreed with it? And there were no laws against it?

Probably not, because of genetic relation. But I would allow someone else to, if I grew up with them, knew that they were benevolent, understood their persona, experiences, and personality.

This was His vision and focus. Jesus didn’t just want to sit in a position of authority enthroned next to God the Father, but He wanted to sit close to the father in the right-hand chair. Jesus’ greatest goal and focus in life wasn’t to sit next to God for the motive of position and power in His Kingdom, but to have intimacy with the Father. The right-hand position is the most close and intimate place that you can have with the King in His sovereign realm. Jesus’ pursuit in life was intimacy with God. The winning prize and reward in Jesus’ Life was to know His Father in the most intimate way and He attained this when He sat down at His Father’s right hand. Now the Father tells us that our pursuit in life should be intimacy with His Son. The Bible tells us that when we focus on winning Jesus, the Father will notice our love.

Quote# 140735

I was born into an intellectual family. After graduating from high school, I was admitted to a well-known university in Beijing. I married a person with only an elementary school education. My husband smoked, drank and gambled. I liked arts and music. We often fought, so I asked for a divorce, but he refused. A coworker introduced me to Falun Dafa in the spring of 1999, and I stepped on the path of cultivation. I recovered from rhinitis, breast hyperplasia and other illnesses. I totally changed and was no longer unhappy. About 10 days after I obtained Dafa, I saw the book Zhuan Falun emitting white light. A rotating wheel the size of a car tire appeared in front of me. Three small yellow Falun came out of the wheel. I was nervous and excited. I realized Master was encouraging me to further strengthen my confidence in Dafa cultivation. I often saw words in Zhuan Falun become three-dimensional and emit golden or multi-colored light.

When my son was two years old, I often read the Fa to him and played Master's audio lectures for him. I told him cultivation stories in a way he could understand and taught him how to be a good kid. He always listened with great interest. On two occasions, while I was reading the Fa to him, I saw a person who looked the same as him sitting up from his sleeping body. I realized that my son's main consciousness came out and was eager to study the Fa. My son's celestial eye was open. He often saw colorful Falun and divine beings, which prompted me to cultivate diligently and take care of this little Dafa disciple. Several months after I began practicing Dafa, Jiang Zemin (former Chinese Communist Party leader) launched the cruel persecution of Falun Dafa. However, I was certain that Dafa and Master were good and continued to practice Dafa with my son.

(...)

In his junior year of high school, his ranking in his class moved from the bottom to the top. His teachers and classmates were surprised by his changes. But, he was still addicted to computer games. I downloaded articles from the Minghui website about playing computer games to show him the harm they caused. I sent forth righteous thoughts in my son's bedroom. After finishing sending forth righteous thoughts, I rested on my son's bed and woke to demons pinching me. I wondered why there were demons there after I had sent forth righteous thoughts. I realized that this room was not clean. My son played computer games, and the room was full of low-spirited life, extraterrestrial life, and all kinds of demons. I sent righteous thoughts again. I felt enormous energy coming out of my palm, and the Falun in my celestial eye was rotating quickly. I could tell Master was reinforcing me.

Soon after that, my son told me that he gave away his game card and was determined not to play video games anymore. My son has become a mature practitioner with a cheerful personality. Master has never given up on him, and Dafa is deeply rooted in his heart. We try to be good people by following the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. During this persecution, Dafa practitioners’ children have suffered tribulations that everyday people cannot imagine. After returning home from prison, many practitioners felt helpless to correct the changes in their children. In fact, their children’s performance also reflects the parents’ cultivation state.

Protecting the children from degenerate influences

You can minimise the chances of them being affected by this by raising them in a disciplined and refined environment while nurturing maximum logical and critical thinking skills. Condemn stupid and disorderly behaviour at every opportunity. Exposing them to the brutal realities of the world (e.g dark world events, threats to child well-being) helps too. Be careful not to excessively expose them, as you do not want to emotionally scar them.

Disable all television channels (modern television is almost entirely manipulative and/or degenerate poison) and restrict their internet activity (especially sites with user-generated content such as YouTube, as many of the contributors on there are degenerates and/or simple-minded).
?
Try and get them interested in certain video games instead. Particularly ones that focus on survival and/or resistance against aggressors. Anything that helps engender an 'us and them' mentality is desirable. It is not recommended to allow them access to violent video games until they are around eight or nine years old, as they may not yet understand the difference between moral right and wrongs or fantasy from reality, and this could cause serious problems.

What do you think of this method?

Quote# 140731

The Lord also admonishes us to judge ourselves or else He will.

For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world (1 Corinthians 11:31-32).

The Lord tells us that if we do not judge ourselves, He will judge us so that we will not be lost or condemned with the world. Wow, what a privilege! The Lord is so committed to us in this marriage covenant that He will judge and chasten us before He will let us be lost. After I read these two verses, the visitation I had in which the Lord delivered me over to satan and the one where He took me to hell to judge me both became clear to me. He was keeping His part of the covenant in marriage with me. You also don’t have to stay at the believer stage. The Lord wants to marry you, but He will not force this on you. The Bible says, “He that is joined to the Lord,” meaning that you must be willing to be joined or committed to Him in this way (see 1 Cor. 6:17). It has been awesome to walk with Him in this way. I look back and realize that all the times He has judged me, it has been a manifestation of His marriage covenant with me. I was joined to Him in a special way!

Are You Married to the Lord Yet?

Now the question I want to ask you is whether you are married to the Lord or just a believer? You too can have this type of relationship with God if you are willing to marry the Lord. Just ask … just ask! Lift your hands right now and ask the Lord by saying, “Lord, I want to marry you.”

I Saw Our Books in Heaven

I had another experience early in my walk that I think is important to share with you. In 1992, I was 19 years old, and I was given the opportunity to see another room in Heaven. I was single at the time and had planned to marry a commendable, Christian woman, so I asked the Lord if marrying her was His will for my life. That night when I fell asleep I was taken to Heaven in a dream. Immediately, I was sucked out of my body and was taken to Heaven at the speed of thought. I was just there! When I arrived, I was only permitted to go inside one room that was filled with huge books that had everyone’s life written down inside. I knew that these were the books written by God, and they contained His plans and purposes for everyone who had ever been born or who would be born. These books were the size of those giant, family-sized, coffee table Bibles, and they were white and gold.

The hilarious thing about this visitation is that I became curious about everyone else’s books, so I ran over to take a look at them, but an angel beckoned me to come away and look at my book. This angel was about seven to eight feet tall, and he had on a white robe.

In the center of this round room were shelves filled with these white and gold books. The room looked like a humongous library with shelves around the wall, and in the center of the room stood a podium with my personal white and gold book on it. The angel was standing next to it beckoning me to come close. When I walked up to the podium, the book that the Lord had written about my whole life was already opened. At the top left side of this book was written, “GOD’S PLAN,” and everything I was ordained to do by God at the age of nineteen was written underneath it. This book didn’t look like a book from earth, because it was blank on the right side. I understood that God left this blank side for me to fill as I made choices during my life. As I made them, these choices would be written down alongside the life He had ordained for me before the foundation of the world.
All of a sudden words appeared in bold letters on the right side of the book that said, “DAVID’S BIGGEST DIVORCEMENT.” Then the angel plainly answered my prayer regarding whether I should marry this woman or not: “The Lord says your life will be a disaster if you marry her, and you’ll mess up the special ministry in your life.” After this, I woke up out of the dream. I didn’t even know I was called to have a special ministry! I was only nineteen years old, and I had just gotten saved two years earlier. Most people don’t know that God has written down our lives in books. These books include His plans and purposes for us, and even whom we should or should not marry! The Lord used this dream to communicate this to me. Look at this Scripture:

Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me) to do thy will, oh God (Hebrews 10:7).
The writer of Hebrews is saying that there was a book that contained the will of God for Jesus’ life in it. We each also have a book and I have seen mine! Also, David mentions in Psalms that God wrote his life down in a book.

Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous (Psalm 69:28).

Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned; when as yet there was none of them (Psalm 139:16).

Thou tellest my wanderings … are they not in thy book? (Psalm 56:8)

Here again in these passages of Scripture we see the Holy Spirit speaking through David that the Lord has recorded our lives in books. This dream was pivotal to the success of my life and destiny. I was about to marry the wrong person and it could have destroyed the plans God had for

God Commands Believers to Love One Another in Sincerity, With a Pure Heart, Fervently

The sinful man from 1st Corinthians 5:1-5 repented, and wanted to come back to church. Paul tells the church in 2nd Corinthians to forgive and let the man return, lest he be overwhelmed with grief and sorrow...

2nd Corinthians 2:4-7, “For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you. But if any have caused grief, he hath not grieved me, but in part: that I may not overcharge you all. Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many. So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.”

I actually apologized in 2017 to the shameful neo-evangelical pastors of Harvest, merely because I was so lonely for fellowship with a local church (as messed up as they all are at Harvest). I figured I would fit right in, since we are all messed up to some degree. But no, there are no second chances at Harvest. And besides, at this point if they ever took me back, the people in the church world hate me, because their pastors fail to teach them to love, forgive, let go and restore broken relationships. If professed Christians refuse to love one another, as the Lord commands, then that is on them.

The pastors and church members of Harvest Baptist Church on Guam, have shunned and punished me, ostracizing me, mocking me, putting me outside the gate with Jesus. I sincerely believe that is why their present pastor since 2000 is leaving for a cushy job in the states. I believe deep in his heart he KNOWS what he has done to me is very wrong. I took a stand for truth! I didn't apologize in 2017 because I had done anything wrong (as did the man in 1st Corinthians), I apologized for not being more patient with new-evangelicals!!! The truth is that THEY owe me a big apology, and moreover, God Himself for betraying the Gospel and the verbal inspiration of God's Word. For me to apologize to them is like casting pearl before swine, which is what I did, because desperate people do desperate things.
