Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte reacted to the discovery Wednesday of the bodies of two Vietnamese sailors who had been held hostage by saying he would eat alive the militants responsible.

The sailors were kidnapped along with four other crew members of a Vietnamese cargo ship in November 2016. Their remains were found off the Southern region of Mindanao by Philippine troops.

To women, I’m totally sorry that bishops like Cupich and McElroy have marginalized your souls in their grand seamless garment plan. They couldn’t possibly put birth control and abortion ahead of war or the death penalty. Nooooooo! They have to be given completely equal treatment or not spoken of at all, or in reality, swept to the side in lieu of these issues so the spotlight could be totally on them and their overall “I heart peace!” agendas. They never stopped once to think that if violence in the womb isn’t condemned, the rest of their agenda was a pipe dream.

So, while these members of the clergy were laying down in front of weapons of war, society was waging a war on us women, and we lost. We killed our children, gave ourselves cancer, strokes and mental problems. We became hoodwinked into believing we weren’t becoming totally objectified by all of society, all while some bishops pretty much told us not to look because, well, we were killing death row inmates and waging wars. I haven’t even mentioned porn, which stems from the devaluation of all life. So, to you and my daughters, I totally apologize for these wimpy clergy who give little thought to women.

To the poor, I’m sorry that you became yet another casualty of the liberal agenda while we were being told by our liberal shepherds that most of what the Church tells us is totally subjective and that the lives of the innocent unborn are not paramount. While closing our eyes to the Truth, nobody saw you naked, homeless and alone. Many of us have no conscience because we’ve been told it’s wrong to judge. Or in other words, a person can have the "abnormal" brain of a psychopath by thinking as a psychopath. The idea that ADHD can somehow be a precursor to psychopathy shows the outright denial of a Biblical starting point and support of the false evolutionary view of mankind and his mental processes. The most one could say is that certain brain injuries can change behavior. But that was never the issue.

My original question about psychopaths had to do with whether or not a psychopath was such because of his constant rejection of God or if not, how would his behavior change after salvation. Would his ability to have empathy change, or would he strive through prayer to "fake" empathy out of obedience to God. To assume that most or all behavior of psychopaths is due to their having a brain disorder is without evidence.

When that response results in the death of a human, the animal should be killed. Animals are not sacred. They exist to glorify God and serve man. When they cease to do that they do not deserve to live. That may sound crass and cruel. I assure you I am not. I have pets, have raised all sorts of animals. Trained dogs, horses, and other animals. That experience also teaches me that there is a distinct gulf between animal and man.

(TimV): If we have dominion over the earth and it's creatures, we can do whatever we want with them, within the bounds of Biblical law. And those laws prevent cruelty, like regular weekly rest on the Sabbath, not restricting feed while working, etc...I can enjoy fish in my big tank, tarantulas from South America, my pet boa constrictor and seaworld mammals without having a guilty conscience. And I can think it's pretty cool that the South African navy took out a couple Soviet military transports using trained dolphins in Luanda harbor.

(Peairtach): The putting down of animals, however valuable, when they kill humans is an important reminder of the sacredness of human life more to all humans rather than to animals, who don't usually read the newspapers. It is the way God wants us to remove blood-guiltiness and the potential for further loss of life in such cases. The whale should be humanely put down, inspite of the foolishness of human beings trying to play games with such creatures.

With the massive erosion of respect for the sacredness of human life in the West, e.g. the abortion holocaust, assisted suicide, euthanasia, allowing properly proven murderers to live, letting the whale live will be a very minor sin to add to the West's blood-guiltiness, and will not even be a footnote in the doom of the West.

I agree that such whale circuses are probably less than necessary and that we can enjoy seeing whales in all sorts of better ways, e.g. DVD, in God's providence today.

We all deserve death, having sinned in Adam or also by actual transgression. Another reason why God would have wanted the children to be killed was to show forth the completeness of the judgment and overthrow of these desperately wicked nations (pointing to the complete overthrow of the Earth by the spread of the Gospel) and so that Amorites, etc, growing up among the Israelites would not be a snare to God's people.

Thankfully God's people in the New Covenant are not called upon to carry out such a task.

Sadly young children and babies die in God's providence in this sinful and cursed world all the time, in various ways. I leave the ultimate destiny of particular babies and children with God.

The Edmonton SUN reports "A young woman was killed and two men wounded in a hail of bullets Saturday. Police say the shooting was gang-related. The woman, whose identity police have not released, was Edmonton's third homicide victim in 24 hours in a bloody weekend on the city's streets."

The Edmonton Journal states "The female driver of the car, who was in her 20s, was killed. A male passenger in the front seat was grazed by a bullet while a second male passenger in the back seat was wounded in the throat and remains in critical but stable condition in hospital."

If only one could find out the identity of this young woman. Well, I can tell you right now that her name is Lily (or at least her alias is Lily) and that she's a member of a group (gang?) called "A.T.P." I can tell you this because there was a vigil held for her today in front of Casino Edmonton, and a sign for her was errected by her gangster friends, who know a little more than what police are telling. The ethnic makeup of the vigil was mostly asian. I tragically didn't have my camera with me, merely wanting to eat at the amazingly delicious Richard's Sub in Sherwood Park (I couldn't find it on Google Maps, but found 2 other locations in the Edmonton area, so I'll try to do some extra investigative reporting.

So back to this Lily business, I've done the obvious first state of searches: Google, MySpace, and Edmonton Online. Still on the to-do-list is YouTube and Edmonton Transit.

The creationist behind Kentucky’s failing “Ark Encounter’ theme park is at it again.

Ken Ham, the president and CEO of “Christian apologist ministry” Answers in Genesis, penned an op-ed that once again deflects the blame for the failure of his Noah’s Ark replica theme park. This time, Ham argued that the culprit is Williamstown which footed the $92 million bill for the park that now graces their city for not providing enough infrastructure to accommodate visitors to their new “attraction.”

“Williamstown, where the Ark is located, doesn’t have the tourist-related services that Dry Ridge [a neighboring tourist trap] has, so it needs more businesses like hotels and restaurants if it hopes to experience the growth that Dry Ridge is now enjoying,” Ham wrote.

There are a slew of problems with Ham’s reasoning. As Hemant Mehta at The Friendly Atheist points out, Williamstown has received no financial incentives to stoke growth in the area because Ham negotiated a “ridiculously low” 30-year property tax rate for the taxpayer-funded park. Ham is also garnishing his employees’ paychecks to help repay the loans taken out to complete the park.

According to a Patheos article published while the park was still under construction, employees are subject to a two percent “job assessment fee on gross wages.”

“In other words,” the article continued, “$2 out of every pre-tax $100 dollars you make will go directly to paying off the for-profit Noah’s Ark attraction.”

Additionally, Answers in Genesis and the Ark have yet to pay the town’s “safety fee” that contributes to a fund to upgrade emergency response equipment, a fund that “would help make it even more of a tourist destination.”

Williamstown has plenty of reasons to not want to spend more money on the for-profit Christian theme park, especially because the Ark won’t even hire members of the town’s community unless they ascribe to the same fundamentalist beliefs of Ham.

This isn’t the first time Ham has tried to pin the blame on his expensive and ambitious project away from himself. A few weeks ago, Ham complained to a local news outlet that atheists protesting the park were the reason it hadn’t lived up to his expectations.
