Furthermore, the move will just impose more costs, both monetary and bureaucratic, on abortion clinics, ultimately forcing them to eventually close down, which was the goal all along.

But there are even more disgusting, farther-reaching repercussions of SB 5 — The bill overturns a St. Louis ordinance that prevented discrimination from employers and landlords against people based on their reproductive health decisions. To put it bluntly, if the bill is passed, women could be fired or evicted in Missouri for having an abortion, using contraception, or becoming pregnant while unmarried.

Personal Testimony regarding New Age/Occult/Evolution and the downward spiral

I thought I would share personal experience of my life up till I was saved in October and how this world got this way because of the lies from Satan. I apologize for any rambling and also am not promoting any of these satanic lies but just to share where I was. So armor on Ephesians 6:10-18

When I was a kid in school I attended a protestant church. Evolution being the main focus in schools. I did my best to stick to the Word but as a naïve child I was easily swayed by the "who says a day of creation to God didn't mean a million in human time?' All it takes for the bucket to start losing water is a crack in it. By not studying the Bible and proper science it eventually lead to a point where I questioned everything in it even Jesus Christ since after all "man" wrote the Bible.
What I was unaware of at the time was that little bit of doubt was all that was needed for Satan to shatter me.

Time goes by and I am eventually lead into yoga. With the chanting and controlled breathing of it what seems innocent on the outside is definitely not. What I "learned" in yoga was how to channel my "spirit energy" and focus and become "one with the universe" which after all was quite appeasing since now at this time I believe myself to be but an insignificant speck in it. Looking back I can see what I was doing was "ritualistic chanting" and channeling demons. People are eager to reject the idea of channeling demons because of the "peace" it brings but it's still poison in the carrot. I "learned" from this the need to "unite and love and tolerate" this world and live in peace.

After now my second indoctrination I went looking for the world's answers on the afterlife. What I found was enough to keep me away from the Truth. Quantum Mechanics, spirit energy, and a plethora of answers. Needless to say not one lead to Christ. In fact, they all made it clear that He was the wrong one. Allah, Buddha, Hinduism and "Jesus is one way to get to God" but not one way accepted that Jesus was the only way. What I learned from watching the news (religiously) was that "evangelicals" are nut jobs. I know the truth now but that's not were I was at.

When I started looking into New Age I started looking into Alistair Crowley and Thelma (New Age really is Thelma but mild). I'm not going to preach their messages but there are a couple of points I do want to make. Symbolism means everything and everything is meant to expose it to people frequently enough that eventually it becomes normal, accepted and even practiced. There were a couple of things that I realized while practicing it that made me start to look elsewhere.

1) Christians are absolutely not accepted. It baffled me how Muslims, Jewish Hindu and whatever were ok but destroying Christianity was a number one objective. A big part of it is internally by means of infiltration. That was something that now as we see "churches" preaching New Age ideology with some "Jesus on top" it's obvious.

2) If you go back and look at what a lot of some of the nastiest people in history believed New Age is at the center. Hitler believed in all of the above and used propaganda to weaken his people and get them on board. If not force was authorized.

Those two things had me start rethinking my approach about the Bible. The reason I point out the two above is because God showed Himself to me when I was seeking Him how these two things are leading us to the Revelation One World Religion and the antichrist WILL use force to demand worship.

The other reason I bring this up is recently there has been a lot of talk and buzz regarding Lady Gaga and her Super Bowl performance. One of the things I implore people to do is look at how music is heavily focused on

1) "Star child" themes
2) animalistic behavior (violence, sexual immorality and doing what YOU want)
3) love and tolerance

You definitely need to research and look into what an artist believes in and the lyrical content of a song. Because of the world's thirsting for "enlightenment" their ears get tickled when they say god in a song. A look into their lyrics/personal life easily will show whom most of them mean. There are now "Christian" churches who even preach becoming one with god and those churches are bigger than Biblically sound churches.

This post may have little relevance to long time members but to Lurkers or anyone who stumbles upon it maybe it will help. All the answers ARE in the Bible. There is more than enough science to back up and reasonably support it. Cling to your Bible. If God is with us no one can be against us!

Every imperfect and normal family wants their kids to turn out right. So, we establish goals for character development and try to create an environment where our kids can mature. Church, school, sports teams, family relationships ... each of these provides a context where our kids can learn to "love your neighbor as yourself."

Unfortunately, our "good" objectives might have absolutely nothing to do with the gospel of Jesus Christ. And we inadvertently end up raising pagans instead of Christians.

Too many times, (Christian) parents have it as their goal to make their kids good and moral. It is as if the entire purpose of their family's spiritual life is to shape their children into law-abiding citizens who stay out of trouble. The only problem with this goal is that it runs in stark contrast to what the Bible teaches. The gospel is not about making bad people moral, but about making dead people alive. If we teach morality without the transforming power of the gospel and the necessity of a life fully surrendered to God's will, we are raising moral pagans.

We end up teaching the wrong thing because we have the wrong objectives.

This sentiment was stirred in me afresh when I read an interview with VeggieTales creator Phil Vischer. He was reflecting on how the "Christian message" he was trying to teach wasn't Christianity at all:

"I looked back at the previous 10 years and realized I had spent 10 years trying to convince kids to behave Christianly without actually teaching them Christianity. And that was a pretty serious conviction. You can say, 'Hey kids, be more forgiving because the Bible says so,'or 'Hey kids, be more kind because the Bible says so!' But that isn't Christianity, it's morality...

"And that was such a huge shift for me from the American Christian ideal. We're drinking a cocktail that's a mix of the Protestant work ethic, the American dream and the gospel. And we've intertwined them so completely that we can't tell them apart anymore. Our gospel has become a gospel of following your dreams and being good so God will make all your dreams come true. It's the Oprah god."

So what is your objective?

Do you teach your kids "be good because the Bible tells you to" or do you teach your kids that they will never be good without Christ's offer of grace? There is a huge difference. One leads to moralism; the other leads to brokenness. One leads to self-righteousness; the other leads to a life that realizes that Christ is everything and that nothing else matters.

I want my kids to be good. We all do. But as our kids grow up, the truth of the gospel can easily get lost somewhere between salvation (where we know we need Jesus) and living life (where we tend to say "I've got this"). My experience is that the vast majority of parents are encouraging moral behavior in their kids so that God will bless their (usually self-centered) pursuits. It's the American dream plus Jesus. And it produces good, moral pagans.

Consider the key objectives you have for your kids. Seriously, take a minute to think about what would deem you a successful parent. If your goals are focused on your kids' behavior, their happiness or their accomplishments but don't include a dependence upon Christ and a submission to His will and work, you might want to make some adjustments.

Because the world has enough pagans. Even plenty of really nice ones. What we need is kids who fully grasp the reality that they have nothing to offer but who intimately know a God who has everything they need.

When a baby is crying for his mother, she wouldn't think of refusing him. That little baby has more faith than a lot of adults do when they pray, because the baby expects someone to hear him when he cries. He knows --God put it in him to know --that if he calls, his mother will answer. He expects an answer, and he gets it. If he asks for milk, his mother is certainly not going to deny him or give him something else (Luke 11:11-13). She's going to give him what he needs. Just so, when you ask God to speak to you, you must believe that the next thing that comes into your mind or heart is from the Lord.

Shutting your eyes helps you to see in the spirit and to become less conscious of the things and people around you. It helps you get your mind on the Lord and in a relaxed position where nothing distracts you. When you ask the Lord to speak to you, believe that whatever you hear or see is a message or vision from Him. When you are asking Him to speak, you are like a baby crying for food --in this case, the spiritual food you need to live on.

When a mother picks up her child to nurse him, what does she do? She reveals herself to him. If he's a tiny baby, she also has to bring the nourishment to him. She has to show him where it is; she has to place her nipple in his mouth. As he gets older, he automatically knows where to find the milk and he can reach out for it himself. It's the same with hearing from God. The longer you practice receiving nourishment from the Lord, the better you know where to find it. You just open your spiritual eyes and see it and reach for it.

Faith is the hand of the spirit, which reaches out and receives. It is the part that you do, your spiritual effort. After the nipple is in the baby's mouth, he automatically starts nursing. When you ask God for spiritual nourishment, He puts it there for you, but if you don't start sucking, you'll never get it. You have to have the faith to begin to receive. You literally have to draw God's nourishment. If you don't suck, you won't get anything. The child sucks because God has put that automatic reaction in him to do it. A lot of times he has to suck for a while before he gets anything, but if he doesn't give up, eventually he will.

Faith is a type of drawing power. It is you drawing power from God. What is it that brings the mother's milk out of her breast? How is this explained in scientific terms? When the baby sucks, he creates a vacuum inside his mouth, which pulls the milk out. Similarly, you have to create a vacuum in your spirit: "Lord, here is an empty space. Please fill it!"

When you reduce the pressure in one area, what fills that vacuum? In the case of the nursing child, it's his mother's milk. All the child does is create the vacuum. He reduces the pressure inside his mouth, which then becomes lower than the pressure inside his mother's breast, so the milk flows out into his mouth. That sucking on the part of the baby is his effort; the mother does all the rest.

In prayer, you create a vacuum and the Lord's pressure fills it. Every time you open up your spirit, every time you create a low-pressure area, His Spirit will flow in, in all His power! What if the baby took one big suck and got discouraged? "Well, I didn't get anything, so I'll just quit!" Sooner or later he would get so hungry that he would start sucking again and not give up. When you start sucking for dear life and really desire that spiritual nourishment with all your heart, you'll get it.

You have to believe that when you create that vacuum in your spirit, the first thing that comes into your mind is from the Lord, and you must go straight on from there. If the baby didn't swallow the first mouthful, he couldn't get any more! His mouth can only hold so much at once. He gets a mouthful and swallows it, and then he gets another mouthful. He's got to swallow each mouthful as it comes, or he won't get more --and it's the same with receiving messages from the Lord.

He gives you a little to start with, but then you've got to expect and make room for more. In this case you empty your mouth, you "swallow," by believing the first words or Scriptures that He gives you, and repeating them out loud or writing them down --and you've got to keep swallowing. The Lord's not going to squirt milk out into the thin air where it will be lost, or into some baby who won't swallow it. You only get one mouthful at a time, and if you don't swallow that mouthful, you won't get another!

Likewise, when you ask the Lord for a vision and you begin to see something, you need to start describing it. Describe what you see, and then the Lord will give you more. What do you do when you watch a movie? You have to keep drinking it in, scene by scene. You couldn't possibly get it all in one picture. You have to keep "swallowing."

Unlike the mother, God has unlimited capacity to give. What you get is only limited by your capacity to receive. When receiving messages from the Lord, pretty soon you get so full that you can hardly stand it. The Lord will keep on feeding you until your vacuum has been filled, your "stomach" is satisfied and your spirit is content.

The Lord is always there, ready, willing and able to speak to you if you're willing to listen, but He won't force you. The mother can place her breast in the baby's mouth, but if the baby takes one gulp and doesn't like it and quits swallowing, he's not going to get any more. You have to be willing to receive what God gives!

Sandra Bland had marijuana in her system at the time of her death in a Texas jail cell, Warren Diepraam, a Waller County prosecutor, told reporters Thursday, citing preliminary autopsy results. He said the cause of death was hanging; the manner of death was suicide.

That's almost literally the end of the story.

There is some discussion about the Waller County jailers not following the Mental Disabilities/Suicide Prevention Plan, which is probably an important thing to look at to ensure that suicidal prisoners stay alive long enough to stand trial. Probably.

But let's be frank here. Sandra Bland was probably going to commit suicide in 2015. She did so while in police custody, and there seem to be issues with the guards not following regulations, and that's tragic. But she was going to die no matter what. She was a pothead, she was mentally unstable, she was a loser.

Even if police never laid a hand on her, she'd never live to see a sunrise in 2016.

There is a lost and very confused alt-left reprobate who hates God and uses Disqus to harass and persecute Christians (same person - just new user names/socks). He is obsessed with our community (has been for a couple of years now). This individual is mentally unstable, highly delusional, literally stalks us, uses multiple sock accounts to down vote Christian comments, issues death threats, posts very vulgar inappropriate comments and when sanctioned immediately turns around and opens new sock accounts through which he continues to troll and brags "You can't stop me." - although he is in fact stopped every time by one click. Again, he is a very deluded and unstable individual possibly self-medicating with meth and other street drugs, mentally and physically ill and prostituting himself from the comments he sends. The man needs Jesus Christ, but has rejected God and Truth. After ministering to Him for a long time and being abused by him constantly, it was obvious that he was reprobate and it was time to shake the dust from our feet and stop casting pearls to be trampled upon.
When he realized his mission to stop the gospel of Jesus Christ from going forth here with lies, twisting scripture and manipulation was futile, he started trolling heavily (character assassinations, lies, manipulations/witchcraft, twisting scripture as Paul said they would, a petition to stop sharing Jesus Christ here, entrapment {he would use various fake user accounts to literally troll our community and when sanctioned, he would cry foul}. It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.). So, he started a channel specifically to troll us with and when that didn't work and the sock account he'd selected to lead the persecution was deleted by Disqus for targeted harassment and yet we continued to share Jesus Christ here, he became so "enraged" (his word, not mine), that he started going from channel-to-channel in his attempts. That didn't work either, so he's back and resorting to threats, specifically death threats.
He has made several death threats and I can only share some of the content as his comments are very vulgar, and inappropriate. I will share some of his delusions and lies and then I will share Truth so that others may be edified as to what is going on in our community and how it mirrors the persecution of Christians in the world and is addressed in scripture. I pray the brethren are edified.

His lie: "This is a group of people you have pissed off."
Truth: He is one person, possibly demonized with many evil spirits.

We love you and that is why we joyfully endure the persecution that comes along with sharing Jesus Christ with those who hate Him. It is because believers love you that we share Truth with you...so that it may set those free who are called to Jesus Christ. I only sanction those who ignore our community guidelines, walk through warnings, persecute the saints, come here just to troll, disdain and harass believers and who are not interested in hearing the gospel, but are only here to disparage believers and God, blaspheme, mock Holy Spirit and stop us from ministering to those who want to hear the gospel. Those will not be suffered here. I'm saved by grace. I am the righteous of God through Jesus Christ. His sacrifice redeemed and saved me.

His demand: "Leave now."
My response: No - you were told no years ago. We will be here as long as God allows us an open door to minister and to be light in this dark place. Your threats are empty. You do not intimidate us. Greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world. I rebuke you in Jesus name.

Clearly he is attempting to persecute Christians in our small community just as believers are being persecuted all over the world. If one is offended here, it is because of the gospel. I seek not my own. We only share Jesus Christ. We do not interpret it/add to nor take away from it...we only share gospel Truth. Be blessed brothers and sisters as only those who will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. Amen.

Theses are the sock accounts he opened in the last couple of days to issue death threats and pepper our threads with colorful words and many vile and vulgar insults (note he follows the same three (3) or four (4) channels for ALL of his sock accounts - no disrespect to any channel owners nor mods, but this indicates he's (satan has) setup a stronghold in those communities and is more than likely operating many user accounts under false pretenses, i.e., brethren you're more than likely arguing with the same person using different user names, yes you're being trolled):
