1. The Nazis were not wrong - its just your opinion
2. Love is no better than rape - might be unfashionable but not wrong
3. Blowing up innocent people watching a marathon is not morally different than feeding the poor - it just your opinion
4. Religious crusades are not wrong - because there is no standard for righteousness
5. Tolerance is no better than intolerance - why tolerate anything

3. Google "christian terrorism"

Like it or not, this is why Trump's style of tweeting is so important for us. If we had a president who made nice nice in his tweets and said something like -- it isn't appropriate for a father to think stealing/shoplifting is okay...people would go ho hum. He is getting us back on track by making a big deal of things that we have been hammered for. You can't say certain things to a black person or about them, but Trump doesn't care what color someone is -- if they are wrong, he goes after them. He is an equal opportunity insulter.

It is helping us to get our voices back.

People are not looking into this deeply or how important it is that he tweets as he does.

Quote# 134839

I obtained the book Zhuan Falun in 1998 and was told that it could help heal my illnesses and keep me fit. However, I remained skeptical because I didn't believe anything like this was possible. So the book stayed on my shelf, untouched for half a year. Little did I know it was a hidden treasure. When I opened the book one day to have a look, there were many seemingly magical cultivation stories inside. This aroused my curiosity, and I ended up at the home of a Falun Dafa practitioner to listen to a recording of Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa, teaching the Fa. From that day on, I began cultivating in Falun Dafa, and strictly adhered to Dafa's core principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.

Miracles then began to happen. I had several health problems before I started practicing, such as lower back pain, headaches, and a chronic illness that caused me severe stomach pains, often preventing me from walking. I also had rheumatoid arthritis. My hands would swell up every morning, to the extent that I couldn't bend my fingers. I visited many doctors, but none were able to help.

After watching videos of Master teaching the Fa one day, I decided to do the second exercise. I felt a warm current flow through my stomach and exit my body. A few days later the unsettling lumps in my stomach disappeared, and the illness has never returned. My rheumatoid arthritis also gradually disappeared. While I was diligently studying the Fa and doing the exercises, Master was purifying my body. Nowadays, I can feel the happiness and sense of wonder that can only come from being in an illness-free state.

My husband was helping his friend run an errand at work and slipped. One of his legs was submerged in boiling water. He sustained severe burns, and doctors said that the leg had to be amputated. The doctor told us that he would need to be hospitalized for several months, however, my husband insisted on leaving the hospital since he didn't want the accident to affect his job.

Upon returning home, I suggested that he listen to the recordings of Master's Fa. Within three days, his pain subsided, and he began to sleep much better. This burn also began to heal rapidly. In a dramatic turn of events, on the fourth day, my husband stopped listening to the Fa. He said that he didn't believe in Dafa anymore and made disrespectful remarks directed at Master. The very next day, my husband's excruciating pain returned. The burned area became inflamed again and he returned to the hospital to seek treatment.

His wounds continued to worsen. He was consistently unable to sleep and work, and worried that he would have to have his leg amputated. I knew that all of this was caused by his personal choice to disrespect Dafa, since Master was no longer able to help him under such circumstances. My husband eventually realized that he had done a disservice to Dafa and sincerely apologized to Master. He listened to five lectures of Master's Fa teaching in one go.

The pain in his leg pain vanished immediately, and his leg soon recovered completely. My husband is infinitely grateful to Master. Since that time, he has always said that Falun Dafa is good and shares his experience with others. I sincerely thank Master from the bottom of my heart!

(In reply to a comment from another member: "Many of the DACAs were raised in this country from toddler age. They do not speak Spanish. To send them to Mexico would be cruel and unusual punishment, and possibly a death sentence. You are scapegoating."):

I know several and their English is so bad that it is ridiculous. Their parents did not bother making sure they learned English so English was spoken in the home.

It brings everyone down.

One of them is a friend of my granddaughter and she is a good girl -- but she cannot speak English. At first I would cringe and then I started correcting her so that she didn't embarrass herself. She is trying to do better, but when she goes to apply for a job and says something such as *that is mines* instead of *that is mine*, she will be at a disadvantage. Or she says *I seen that* instead of *I have seen that* or *I saw that*. I could go on and on. She was playing cards and she said, *I just drawed that* instead of *I just drew that*. It's like listening to a toddler first learning to speak.

I asked her if teachers didn't correct her English when she wrote it wrong or spoke wrong and she said no, that she never knew it was wrong.

She was one of the top in her class...this is how bad California schools are now. Same as in Maryland. Kids are graduating and not able to pass the tests and not literate.

When someone comes to this country and doesn't learn English, how badly do they want to be here? Her parents have been here over 20 years now and cannot speak a word of English.

That is the measuring stick. Without a common language, you have a divided country. If they can't bother to learn English so their kids speak it at home and give their kids a better chance, then they do not belong here.

What happens when she gets married and has kids...they will either speak gutter English or Spanish. She mostly speaks Spanish now be cause that is what she is used to.

If she stays here, then I feel her parents should go -- because they haven't bothered connecting with America.

She is so intelligent in every way. She gets it that Trump's tweets are needed desperately by all of us. It is the only way we are treading water. His tweets are stopping the nonsense that we have to deal with. He is fighting this culture war for us -- and most people have no idea what his tweets mean.

Even republicans want him to stop. They are not getting that if he didn't tweet as he does, no one would pay attention and the abuse from the left and the right of we people would continue. He has made some headway, little by little.

They are freaking out because of it too. They are trying to double down, but his tweets are so full of common sense and blunt-force truth that many people are figuring it out...people who normally don't pay attention even.

And that is why the dems are constantly all over him about tweets and some republicans.

The problem is that the swamp is so deep we need more than 8 years to clean it up and even then, it may be impossible.

The Bushes, the Clintons, the Obamas -- they are all the same and they have had years to create this mess.

Sometimes I don't know how Trump gets up in the morning with all sides at him.

And I'm with Monica, I freaking love him.

Let Them Eat Cake Award

for callous contempt towards the less fortunate

Quote# 134828

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) suggested that rich people deserve tax cuts more than working class people because working class people spend all of their money on booze, women, or movies.

Grassley told the Des Moines Register, “I think not having the estate tax recognizes the people that are investing, as opposed to those that are just spending every darn penny they have, whether it’s on booze or women or movies.”

In the Republican view of America, there are two classes of people, the deserving rich, and the undeserving everyone else.

Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT) also expressed this view when he said during the tax cut debate that Republicans no longer have the money to pay for children’s health insurance, “[L]et me tell you something: we’re going to do CHIP. There’s no question about it in my mind. It’s got to be done the right way. But we, the reason CHIP’s having trouble is because we don’t have money anymore.”

The problem with the thinking of Grassley and Hatch is that rich people don’t reinvest their tax cuts back into the economy. If a tax cut is given to someone making $25,000-$75,000 a year, they put the money back into the economy. They don’t spend the money on women and booze and Grassley said. They pay bills or make purchases that they have put off for a long time because they couldn’t afford it. They don’t blow the money. Working class people put their tax cuts back into the economy, and benefit businesses.

Grassley was suggesting that working class people lack the morals to deserve a tax cut, and Hatch directly stated that Republicans drained the treasury and let children suffer.

The mentality expressed by Sen. Grassley shows why Republican trickle-down economics always fails. Republicans don’t care that cutting taxes for the rich doesn’t work because they believe that the wealthy are morally superior to everyone else.

PADRE PIO SAID THAT MARTIN LUTHER IS IN HELL AND CHRISTIANS WHO FOLLOW HIM WILL MEET THE SAME END- Fr.Stefano Manelli F.I, founder of the Franciscans of the Immaculate

Padre Pio said that Martin Luther is in Hell and Christians today who follow him will meet the same end.

Those who do not submit themself to the pope and the teachings of the Catholic Church are also going to Hell.

Father Stefano Manelli F.I founder of the Franciscans of the Immaculate writes that Martin Luther who called himself Pope Luther 1 and condemned the pope of Rome, as going to Hell, was a great heretic.

Fr.Manelli in Il Settimanale di Padre Pio (Jan.20,2013 p.1) said that Christians today who follow Luther are also on the way to Hell.
Fr.Manelli in the Italian weekly , mentioned that Padre Pio said those Christians who believe they can speak directly with God are also going to Hell.
Luther believed he could speak directly with God. He was precipitated into Hell said Padre Pio.

Fr.Stefano Manelli in his weekly column Il Pensiero di Padre Pio,Pianeta Padre Pio, wrote that Padre Pio criticized those Christians who believe they can speak directly to God and receive instructions and do not have to submit to the authority of the pope.

This is also a dangerous road writes Fr.Manelli for Christians who believe they are in communion with God without his Vicar and the Catholic Church. They are mistaken and this is an illusion for them,as it is known, he writes, outside the church there is no salvation.

On this point, Padre Pio, with simple words, which were terrible, said that those who believe they can communicate with God directly, are on the way to Hell.

Luther's end was horrible and frightening, he writes, but this will also be the same history of many Christians and Catholics who believe in the teachings of Luther. They risk also going to Hell like Luther, for not listening to the pope.

We need to understand the words of Jesus, in which he delegated St.Peter and his successors the guarantee of a unique Catholic Faith in the Church.(Lk.22,32).This is the guarantee and confirmation given to the popes which is secure and infallible and no one will be lost to Hell who remains with the pope in the Catholic Church.

'Thou art Peter,' said Jesus, ' and upon this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of Hell will not prevail against it' (Mt.16,18).
Fr.Stefano Manelli, who personally knew the saint, said Padre Pio had kept a picture of the pope on his little working table..So always before him was the message,'After Jesus comes the Pope'.(Dopo Gesù viene il papa).

Even we , suggests Fr.Manelli, should quickly free ourself from everything which is far from the pope and not supporting the pope.Even we should value the motto of Padre Pio, 'After Jesus comes the pope'

A vision: Luther in hell

In 1883, Sister Maria Serafina Micheli (1849-1911) was beatified in Faicchio in the province of Benevento in the diocese of Cerreto Sannita 28 May 2011, the foundress of the Sisters of the Angels, was going to Eisleben, Saxony, the birthplace of Luther. The fourth centenary of the birth of the great heretic (10 November 1483) was celebrated on that day.

The streets were crowded, balconies included. Among the many personalities were expected at any time, with the arrival of Emperor Wilhelm I, who presided over the solemn celebrations.

The future Blessed, noting the great hoopla was not interested in knowing the reason for this unusual animation, wanted to find a church and pray to be able to make a visit to the Blessed Sacrament. After walking for a while, she finally found one, but the doors were closed. She knelt on the steps for serenity prayer. As it was in the evening, she had not noticed that it was not a Catholic church, but Protestant. While praying, the angel appeared, who said to her. “Arise, because it is a Protestant church” Then he added: “But I want you to see where Martin Luther was condemned and the pain he suffered as a punishment for his pride.”

After these words, she saw a terrible abyss of fire, where they were cruelly tortured countless souls. In the bottom of this hole there was a man, Martin Luther, which differed from the other: it was surrounded by demons that forced him to kneel, and all armed with hammers, they tried in vain , to shove a big nail in the head. Religious thought, if some of the people had seen this dramatic scene, they would not have made honors and other commemorations and celebrations for such a character.

Later, when the opportunity arose to remind his sisters live in humility and in secret. She was convinced that Martin Luther was punished in hell especially for the first deadly sin of pride. Pride is a deadly sin, brought him open rebellion against the Roman Catholic Church. His behavior, his attitude towards the Church, and his preaching were crucial to encourage and bring many souls to eternal ruin.

Extremism for a good cause is fine. Breaking the law is dangerous but not necessarily wrong. If the only "harm" done is to profits/property it's not real harm. I was going to say that as long as no-one is getting hurt or doing things like setting fires it's fine.

But I would absolutely punch someone on the street if it was the only way to get them to stop torturing a stray dog/cat. How does that scale up? I have no idea, honestly. But if no-one is being hurt it's definitely okay.

I think the people who risk their liberty and sometimes their lives like this are very brave. I'm not brave enough to do anything like that but I'm glad there are people out there who will do it.

I think actions that do not cause physical harm to others, and do not incite a great deal of fear or terror, are ethical acts of resistance against a system of animal exploitation. Convincing others to go vegan might make the future a better place, but helping animals who are currently alive means standing directly in the way of those who wish to harm them.

Even making legal changes in favour of animal protection is a slow process and too often do some "welfare" laws encourage and protect further harm and slaughter of animals, so long as it's done what they deem the "right" and proper way to do it.

As long as people continue to harm animals, we will need to do more than simply sit idly by and say "well, I don't do that, nor do I support it".

Quote# 134803

This is the shocking moment balaclava-wearing protesters used iron bars to beat a huntsmaster unconscious during a meet. Mike Lane, Joint Master of the Tedworth Hunt in Wiltshire, had been attempting to calm saboteurs when he was punched, kicked, spat on and left needing hospital treatment. The attack happened after a fractious day of confrontations during a drag hunt on Saturday, when the masked group followed the hunt from the kennels in the morning. The 39-year-old explained that he had become upset after they were spraying the dogs with citronella spray - a harmless solution used to train nuisance dogs.

He said: 'We were packing up just after 4pm and it got quite violent. Five or six of them came across to where we were all parked and started to make a nuisance of themselves. 'I went over to try to calm it all down and one of them spat in my face. I was then punched by another and a scuffle broke out. "I slipped over and on the ground one of them kicked me in the head twice and knocked me out.' He added that after that, he has no recollection of what happened, but recalls 'iron bars being swung on lengths of rope'.

'Luckily there were still enough people around who came to my aid and they ran back to their vehicles and drove off at speed. Mr Lane said the group had been 'harassing' them throughout the drag hunt and were 'spraying the hounds with citronella spray' and he had remonstrated with them when the scuffle broke out. He was taken to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon and treated for concussion and several broken teeth. 'Lots of people videoed what happened, and it is quite disconcerting to see yourself being knocked out on film.'

Police have now launched a major investigating into the incident, which happened near the village of Everleigh in Wiltshire as the meet closed, and are trying to identify those responsible. Mr Lane was taken to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon where he was treated for concussion and several broken teeth. A spokeswoman for Wiltshire Police said: 'The Tedworth Hunt had been out on a drag hunt and according to the hunt, a group of up to a dozen people - both men and women - wearing balaclavas had been harassing the hunt throughout the day. 'The protesters had left the scene by the time police arrived. 'We can confirm that a 39-year-old man from the Marlborough area who is involved with the hunt was assaulted and needed treatment at Great Western Hospital.

'The man was knocked to the ground and received injuries to the head and back and was briefly unconscious. Police officers gave him first aid until an ambulance arrived. 'We are gathering evidence from witnesses, including video and still images recorded by Tedworth Hunt supporters.' Police said they are treating the case as a serious incident of ABH and potential public disorder. Inspector Paul Longden, of Wiltshire Police, said: 'Whilst we have no issue with people lawfully protesting, this was a totally unacceptable assault involving a group of men and women wearing balaclavas.

'We are making every effort to find and bring to justice the people who inflicted these injuries.' The incident is the latest in a long line of violent confrontations between hunt saboteurs and hunts, with both sides claiming the other to be the more violent. Tim Bonner, campaign director for the Countryside Alliance, said the incident showed that saboteurs needed to 'unmask'. 'This was a particularly nasty and cowardly attack by people who hoped by wearing face coverings they would avoid prosecution,' he said.

'The number of people involved in saboteur activities is far fewer than in the past, however we are concerned that the extremists who remain are increasingly resorting to violence. 'There have been a number of incidents over the past few years involving assaults on hunt staff and supporters by people who have masked their identities. 'We are particularly worried about the increasing tendency to violence by those wearing balaclavas and face coverings in a bid to escape the law. 'We call upon the police to use their powers, wherever possible, to unmask people who wear face coverings to hunt meets before there is violence.' Mr Lane has been advised to rest for at least a week following the attack.

Quote# 134800

Homosexuality is the shutting off of a human biological purpose and the death of a human genetic line. As such, it is "wrong" in "scientific" terms if nothing else. It is also the thwarting of a human social purpose, peace and harmony between the human sexes which tend to find themselves opposed while loving connections between them very much work to soften that opposition and unite the sexes in human purpose. The very ancient and nearly-universal religious objection no doubt has these in mind but may make the matter personal as well, one of the heart of creature toward Creator, a heart that should be disciplined by gratitude in all areas of human life.

I could go on, but these things are really not very material, as (which I pointed out before) the situation in Germany is not one of condemning or not condemning homosexuality -- but of repurposing marriage for some reason. And, no, you haven't even attempted to answer why that should be done, what "good" it is. When an entire population and its social and legal framework is to be revised, perhaps there should be a compelling -- a very compelling -- reason. By changing the subject you're obviously hoping to move the onus.
