The hare has been celebrated as a symbol of fertility in many cultures throughout recorded history. Throughout Western celebrations, the hare or rabbit has been attached to the Resurrection of the Savior of the world. Exactly how this connection has come to be varies within cultures, but all are from outside the Bible.

A problematic aspect of the hare in our modern culture comes from the promise of treats to boys and girls who have been good. Not too unlike Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny magically and mysteriously appears in the middle of the night to hide a basket filled with candy for the child. Sadly, rather than waking to a morning focused on celebrating Christ’s victory over death and our assurance of faith in Him (1 Corinthians 15:13–17), the focus is on selfishly seeking a hidden basket of sweets. I ask you to question whether this is a wise practice for your family and yet to reserve judging those who choose to participate in such activities (Romans 14). Every Christian would do well to consider whether this type of activity leads to exalting Christ as Lord and Savior and to make that goal the measure of their decision whether to participate in egg hunts and the like.

Yesterday I tweeted this:

New Cosmos TV series shown in public schools uses tax dollars to basically tell students to worship the stars, imposing atheism on students

And it’s true. Neil deGrasse Tyson does basically tell students to worship the sun/the stars. For instance he says in episode 8:

Our ancestors worshipped the sun. They were far from foolish. It makes good sense to revere the sun and stars because we are their children. The silicon in the rocks, the oxygen in the air, the carbon in our DNA, the iron in our skyscrapers, the silver in our jewelry—were all made in stars, billions of years ago. Our planet, our society, and we ourselves are stardust.

Well, as a result of my tweet, secular bloggers and others went rather ballistic—for instance, these sorts of headlines appeared: “Ken Ham is a Liar,” “Creationist Ken Ham Fears New Cosmos Series Will Create Pandemic of Reason and Critical Thinking,” “Ken Ham Disparages Schools Showing Cosmos in Class for ‘Imposing Atheism on Students.’”

Secularists for too long have been allowed to impose their anti-God religion of evolution/millions of years on generations of kids—and we are seeing the consequences in an increasingly secularized culture and large numbers of young people drifting from the church.

I followed up my tweet about the Cosmos series with:

The dimensions of the ARK: 300 cubits x 50 cubits x 30 cubits. There are various figures used for the length of a cubit. Using 20.314159 for its length the results are as follows. Which is using PI for the figure over 20 inches.

If you accept that Noah's value for a cubit is 20.3 inches(or as i suggest 20.314159), the ark was over 507 feet long, almost 85 feet wide and almost 51 feet tall. The sizes in our references range from the 17.5 inches per cubit that according to the World Almanac, is THE accepted standard, to 25.6 inches.

Shifting the dimensions of size to the dimensions of time from the ARK's given dimensions the following happens:

300 x 20.314159 = 6094.25
50 x 20.314159 = 1015.71
30 x 20.314159 = 609.43

As a description for a fullness of time:

6094.25 x 1015.71 x 609.43 = 3,772,366,012.49 seconds
........................................ = 62,872,766.8749 minutes
........................................ = 1,047,879.44792 hours

........................................ = 119.54 years

Noah was given the ARK of TIME to receive the 7's of clean male and female and the 2's of the unclean male and female.

He, Noah, was given 120 years to accomplish getting those required/allotted in the fullness of time.

And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his (Adam's = male and female) days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

The time allotted was to Adam, at the age of 810 he was given another 120 years dying at the age of 930. This 120 years was looking backwards or prior to Noah's days.

Noah's ARK represented this volume of time as 119.54 years or in the 120th year judgement came again to male and female, Adam (mankind).

Jesus said the end of this age would be as 'the days of Noah were'.

Adam got an additional 120 years, Noah's Ark represents those 120 years and we are just now finishing out the last 120 years of the end of this age. Those being the last 100 years of the 1900's and the next 20 years of the 21st century.

The ARK as an actual boat carrying animals is insignificant to the reality of its being.

When we use the KJV or the Geneva 1599 version, they leave right away without any arguing or stalling. So we personally recommend using the King James Version or the 1599 Geneva version. Go slow on climate action: Trump has tweeted that climate change is a Chinese-driven hoax, though he later called the Tweet a joke. In an interview with Fox and Friends, he called climate change “just a very, very expensive form of tax” and “very hard on business.”

Sizing up the science: “There’s been a misperception that either you get a good economy or you protect the environment,” says Peter LaPuma, an associate professor in the Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University.

LaPuma, who worked as a sustainable energy consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton before joining George Washington, says many companies have found that sustainable practices actually boost their bottom lines. For example, IT companies like Apple have begun using renewable energy to power their data centers, a switch that often saves money because the cost of energy sources like solar has dropped so much.

Immediate action to combat climate change has immediate benefits, according to LaPuma. “Climate change is not just polar bears 100 years from now,” he says. Replacing a coal-fired power plant with a solar farm can benefit health immediately, as well as clearing the air for better views of the country’s natural landscape.
Cut the EPA: Trump has said he would cut funding for the Environmental Protection Agency and return environmental protection responsibilities to the states. He claims the agency hurts business, and in an interview with The Wall Street Journal, called the EPA “the laughingstock of the world.”

Sizing up the science: “There would be serious repercussions” by 2020 if the EPA were severely downsized or abolished, according to Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy professor Neal F. Lane, who directed the National Science Foundation and later the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy under President Clinton.

Lane says the EPA plays a critical role in protecting clean air and drinking water, and that its regulations have helped rehabilitate polluted water bodies like Lake Erie, which was pronounced “dead” in the 1960s. “This is not just a bunch of regulators hugging trees,” he adds. Though states do have a part to play in regulation, the country needs a federal regulating body, according to Lane, because contaminated water and air can cross state borders.

That’s not to say citizens shouldn’t weigh in on the agency’s proposed rules. “There will always be a healthy debate between the private sector and the federal government on these regulations,” says Lane. For this reason, he said, the EPA solicits public comment before making new rules.

If Congress supported Trump in slashing funds for the EPA or changing the law to remove the agency’s power to regulate, Lane predicts there would be an outcry from overwhelmed governors and “reasonable people who care about their families, their children and their life style.”

Alter vaccination schedules to avoid autism: Trump says he favors vaccines, but giving children smaller doses over a longer period of time. He has blamed vaccines for causing autism in children.

Sizing up the science: “I remember wanting to throw something at the TV when I heard it,” Hotez says of Trump’s debate statement linking vaccinations and autism.

Hotez, who develops vaccinations and also has a daughter with autism, says studies have found no link between autism and vaccination. “The anti-vaxxers keep moving the goalposts,” he says. After scientific studies debunked accusations against specific vaccinations, Hotez says those against vaccinations started a different fad: arguing to change the vaccination schedule to protect children.

But infants’ immune systems face up to hundreds of new antigens every day, according to Hotez. Adding a few more in the form of a vaccination does not harm infants. He says changing the FDA’s approved vaccination schedule without clinical testing about immune response could decrease vaccines’ efficacy.

To imagine what a future with fewer or less effective vaccines might look like, Hotez suggests voters think of California’s recent outbreak of measles, a true threat to children’s health. “It’s one of the great killers of children in the world,” he says. “One hundred thousand children die every year of measles.”

Defund Planned Parenthood: Although Trump says Planned Parenthood does a lot of good for women’s health, he says he would defund its clinics because of their abortion services.

Sizing up the science: “The good thing is that he doesn’t think [Planned Parenthood] is evil,” says Amy Tsui, a professor at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. But, she says, no federal funding has gone to abortion since the Hyde Amendment of 1976 (though Medicaid can fund abortion in the case of rape, incest, or endangerment of the mother’s life).

If Trump defunds all Planned Parenthood clinics, even those that don’t perform abortions, then he’ll be “throwing the baby out with the bathwater,” according to Tsui. She says Planned Parenthood’s low-cost care and urban clinic locations, helps low-income women in particular.

In fact, Leighton Ku, Director of the Center for Health Policy Research at George Washington University, says that decreased access to Planned Parenthood’s contraception services could increase the rate of unwanted pregnancies and possibly cause a spike in abortions.

Once again, nice things cannot be had due to annoying bigots. This time it’s the Catholic Charities Diocese of Charlotte, North Carolina. They held a charity gala on March 12, and at the last minute they told blues singer Kat Williams, who was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2012 for her Hands of Hope project, not to bother showing up. The reason: she’s married to a woman.

Kat has sung twice at the gala in past years, and somehow, miraculously, the world didn’t end. Imagine that! It is possible for lesbians to sing a few songs and raise money for a good cause. Amazing.

An anonymous source with the religious group said “Marriage can only be between one man and one woman. Because Ms Williams chooses to be in a relationship that’s different from that, it really makes it inappropriate for her to perform for us.”

Exactly what kind of performance were they worried she’d engage in? Did they think she was going to go up there and start making out with women? Also, what’s with this “chooses to be in a relationship” garbage? What, would they prefer a sham marriage with a man she doesn’t love?

Apparently church officials found out about her marriage from a 2013 article where she talked openly about her personal life, which she should do because she’s done nothing wrong or shameful.

Kat Williams, for her part, has responded quite gracefully. She’s asking fans to donate to equality groups and an AIDS nonprofit. And she invited one of the bigoted bishops to come visit her church so he can see what a loving religious community looks like. Good for her

Are children of illegal aliens born on American soil U.S. citizens? The Constitution says no.

Here is the actual language of the 14th Amendment (emphasis mine):

“All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.”

Birthright citizenship only belongs to those who were subject to the jurisdiction of the United States the moment they were born. But children of illegal aliens are not.

Their parents are not subject to the jurisdiction of the United States but rather of their home country, which is why they can be immediately deported if identified and apprehended. You can’t do that to an American citizen.

Since the parents are not subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, neither are their children. They are, in plain fact, not citizens of the U.S. by birth.

This is why the children of diplomats who are born on U.S. soil are not U.S. citizens. Since their parents are not “subject to the jurisdiction” of the United States, neither are the children.

We are all familiar with the concept of “diplomatic immunity,” which diplomats often use to get themselves and their children out of trouble on American soil by claiming that the children are not under the authority of American law. All the American government can do in such circumstances is send them back to their home country. That is, all they can do is deport them.

Arkophobia

We’ve all heard of the word arachnophobia, a fear of spiders and other arachnids such as scorpions. Well, there is a new phobia showing up on countless blogs, on Twitter, and in news sources. And it has a similar-sounding name: Arkophobia. It’s a fear of the life-size Ark we are building in Williamstown, Kentucky, that opens July 7.

The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines a phobia as “an exaggerated usually inexplicable and illogical fear of a particular object, class of objects, or situation.”

Well, the Arkophobia we see all around us is certainly “illogical.” But it’s actually not “inexplicable.” Let me explain.

Arkophobia hit an all-time high the week of January 25. That’s when a federal judge issued a major ruling that gave a huge win to Answers in Genesis in our religious freedom lawsuit against the State of Kentucky and the actions of the previous governor, Steve Beshear.

The judge ruled that Kentucky could not deny the Ark project participation in the state’s tourism tax incentive program. Such a denial would be discriminatory based on the US Constitution and its First Amendment. The judge also ruled in accord with the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Title VII of that act, confirming that, as a religious organization, AiG can use religious preferences in Ark hiring.



Creation Wise: Ark Danger

Well, that federal decision was too much for the secularist/atheist bloggers. That’s when Arkophobia was at its height. Many secularists were already livid that a Christian organization is building such a massive tourist facility that will have a huge impact in the culture as it proclaims a Christian message! They just can’t stand it! Their hatred against Christianity was so clear after the ruling.

In bemoaning the judge’s decision, one atheist blogger mocked:

"In case you don’t know, Ken Ham is building a big boat in Kentucky and planning to tell people it’s a replica of Noah’s Ark. This, he believes, will make people want to become Christians and stop being gay. Ham’s God really likes spending millions of dollars on vanity woodwork projects but really hates people who love other people of the same gender.

Ham’s God is apparently ambivalent about giving some of those millions of dollars to those who most need it."

These hateful statements really help to reveal Arkophobia. What is the real reason for such vehement opposition to a project that will be so beneficial to the state as it brings hundreds of millions of tourist dollars into Kentucky for hotels, restaurants, and much more, and creates thousands of jobs? It’s because of the message of the Ark.

WHAT IS THE REAL REASON FOR SUCH VEHEMENT OPPOSITION TO THE ARK?
The opposition to the tax incentives, which are offered to any tourism project that will have a positive economic impact in Kentucky and create jobs (called a “neutral purpose”), is illogical. Furthermore, such censorship violates the US Constitution’s guarantee of the freedom of religion and its free exercise. The opposition we have been encountering is due to a heart issue.

Romans 3:23 teaches us that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” And Romans 3:10–18 states:

There is none righteous, no, not one; there is none who understands; there is none who seeks after God. They have all turned aside; they have together become unprofitable; there is none who does good, no, not one. Their throat is an open tomb; with their tongues they have practiced deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips; whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed blood; destruction and misery are in their ways; and the way of peace they have not known. There is no fear of God before their eyes.

Victory in the Courts
In a major ruling, the federal judge confirmed that the 1964 Civil Rights Act allows AiG to use a religious preference in hiring.

The bottom line with the secularist opposition? Arkophobia is so widespread because “the heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9). Secularists are in rebellion against their Creator. The fact that He has the right to tell them, through His Word, what is right (e.g., marriage is one man for one woman) and what is wrong (e.g., abortion is murder) angers them.

Secularists oppose the Ark because they are afraid of the Ark’s goal: to proclaim the everlasting gospel. Revelation 14:6–7 declares:

Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people—saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”

gender egalitarianism is a fantasy. Society is either patriarchal or it will wither away. I dare anyone to show me an example of a non patriarchal society that didn’t eventually collapse.

When I say Patriarchy, I mean real patriarchy, no voting rights for women, no welfare for single mothers.

If you are a man who seriously believes women are our equals and should be treated as such, you are living in a fantasy world, you are letting idealism cloud your judgement.

Women need to be deprived of every male amenity until they are forced to change and every single biased law is reversed.

I am not advocating traditionalism, I am simply stating that we only have two choices as a society. Women are not capable of a net contribution to the economy and sustaining the population simultaneously .

Now a single individual acting as a tyrant can still retain a good measure of masculinity because it is a single person, a more feminine state would be a “tyranny of the majority” due to the collectivist nature of women; which of the two tyrannies is worst we may appraise by Lord Acton’s words; “It is bad to be oppressed by a minority, but it is worse to be oppressed by a majority … from the absolute will of an entire people there is no appeal, no redemption, no refuge but treason.”

If he had to do it again, Robert Weiler Jr. wouldn’t have told his friend about his plan to blow up the Maryland abortion clinic. That was how he got caught 10 years ago. His friend told Weiler’s parents. His parents told the police. And Weiler, then 25, wound up spending almost five years in federal prison and three more on supervised release.

His regret, he says, is not that he was caught. It is that he didn’t achieve what he set out to do.

“I don’t object to the use of force to stop abortion at all,” Weiler says. “I believe it’s completely justified. If it weren’t for the fact that I’d probably go back to prison, I’d do it myself.”

Now the fervent activist is at the center of a different abortion battle — one that is playing out in the District just as the U.S. Supreme Court considers its most important abortion case in decades.

Weiler and four other abortion opponents are the targets of a closely watched lawsuit filed in December by Two Rivers Public Charter School. The high-performing school in Northeast Washington is seeking to restrict protests by anti-abortion activists of a Planned Parenthood clinic that is being built next door. The lawsuit filed in D.C. Superior Court charges that beginning last summer, Weiler and the other defendants have harassed students, some as young as 3, and their parents in an effort to halt construction of the clinic, which is scheduled to open its doors this spring.

The suit alleges that the defendants displayed gruesome images of aborted fetuses, held up signs declaring that a “murder facility” was being built next door and yelled at children such things as, “They are going to murder kids right next door if your parents don’t do something about it.”

Tony Goodman, an ANC commissioner and a parent of a 5-year-old kindergartner at the school, says that there was chaos when the protesters began targeting students last fall.

“It was disruptive and terrifying at times,” he said, “to have people yelling at kids right in front of us.” Although his own child was too young to fully understand why the protesters were there, Goodman said that many parents had to have difficult conversations with their children about the abortion issue.

Several of the defendants, including Weiler, have filed motions to have the suit dismissed, arguing that the school is trying to prevent them from exercising their First Amendment right to speak out on a matter of public concern.

An initial hearing has been pushed back until April 29, but the case is already being monitored by abortion providers, pro-life activists, civil libertarians and constitutional lawyers because it raises questions about what restrictions, if any, can be placed on protesters based on the nature of their message and intended audience.

Can activists be told they must limit the content of their protests? Is the nature of the protests causing the children emotional distress and irreparable harm? Can the school keep protesters a certain distance from school grounds? Can a school sue on behalf of its students?

All of these questions are before D.C. Superior Court Judge Jeanette J. Clark. In the meantime, the protesters are allowed to continue their activities at the school and the clinic that is under construction.

For his part, Weiler says that his appearances outside the clinic have been few. In November, he held up a large banner that read “They kill babies nearby! Tell your parents to stop them.” But when he was served with the lawsuit, he took it personally. He returned to the school to protest holding another sign that said “Two Rivers attacks free speech.”

-Both of these are arguable. Donald Trump (a great guy) was liked by women much less than Jeb Bush (Jeb Bush) before the primaries started. That’s a big piece of evidence in favor of the “women shouldn’t vote” argument, although this and previous election cycles have suggested to me that old people shouldn’t vote (more likely to support Hillary, Romney, over Sanders, Paul) and educated people (more likely to support Rubio over Trump) shouldn’t vote, either. The last especially makes a lot of sense. Most of politics isn’t actually evaluating positions, but status-signaling. There is no prima facie reason the right to vote shouldn’t be restricted to just the few capable of exercising it.
