I remember back to when I was studying Archaeology in College, we would date things using radio carbon dating. Essentially, plants take in carbon during photosynthesis, and when we or an animal eat the plant, we take in the carbon. We measure the amount of carbon left in the bones or wood (any organic material can be measured) to determine its age. However, this type of dating can really only go back 70,000 years and even then it can be wrong. I'm not quite sure how they determine something to be "millions of years old". I know in Geology they determine rock ages by looking at the layers but I cannot remember how exactly. Scientists claim the earth is 4.5 billion years old, I don't believe that. Look at how fast it is decaying and falling apart under us, and I'm to believe it has been around billions of years? That's too long for me to believe.

[On article about Josh Duggar's sexual abuse]

At the risk of sounding insensitive toward the victims, one cannot but notice in scripture that Jesus offers forgiveness to the offender without consulting his victims. The offender’s contrition alone is the condition for forgiveness and reconciliation, not the suffering of the victims. This man’s sins are great indeed, but the whole point of grace is that where sin abounds, grace abounds even more.

My first reaction upon hearing this story was indignation…rage; but the victim’s suffering is not a factor in Christ’s forgiveness for the perpetrator, although reparation is a scripture requirement, as well as the principle that those who sin much, love much. He will suffer the consequences of his actions, but he should be given the opportunity to love much and repair what was broken. I think M. Brown is right for accentuating redemption. Much of the NT was written by that Chief of Sinners that you and I would probably thought worthy of execution.

Quote# 109037

I have no desire to pile on with more comments about Josh Duggar, who appears to be a very serious and committed Christian and who has made no excuses for the sins of his youth and who deeply desires to make a positive impact for the Lord in the years ahead. I simply want to share some redemptive thoughts, supplementing some of the excellent statements made by others, including former governor Mike Huckabee and Southern Baptist leader Russell Moore.

1. Jesus really does change people. While critics of the Duggar family want to indict them (along with other evangelical Christians, especially those with large families) for Josh's actions, and while many seem ready to throw Josh under the bus, the fact is that while he did sin grievously, through repentance, faith and counseling, he became a new man. Jesus really does transform sinners.

How many of us did wicked things as teenagers? I was shooting heroin at the age of 15 and broke into some houses and even stole money from my own father before being radically converted at the age of 16. I was profane, filled with pride, anger and lust, yet the Lord had mercy on me and totally turned my life around.

Some of us continued to live like this into our adult years, only to find mercy and new life then, meaning that the transformation was even more dramatic.

For me, the first lesson from this story is this: Whoever you are, whatever you've done, there is hope in the Lord. As Mike Huckabee said, "'inexcusable' ... doesn't mean 'unforgivable.'"

As Paul wrote to the Corinthians, "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, and you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus by the Spirit of our God" (1 Cor. 6:9-11).

2. There's no excuse for sin, so own up to it. In today's culture, almost no one is guilty of anything. It's someone else's fault, someone else's responsibility, not our own. We're all victims, and the reason we do bad things is because someone else wronged us. Isn't that how we think today?

I've even heard athletes apologize for some really heinous actions by saying, "I'm not happy with the way things happened," rather than saying, "What I did was wrong and I have no excuses. Please forgive me. I'm seeking to get to the root of my problems and address them."

What a vast difference between the two attitudes.

As Proverbs states, "He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy" (28:13).

According to the accounts we've all heard, Josh confessed his sin to his parents as well as to the proper authorities, and as a family, they worked through the issues. Now, half a lifetime later (he's 27 and is married with four children), when confronted with a police report about his past, he did not minimize his sin nor did he excuse it. He also resigned from the fine Christian organization for whom he worked, not wanting to bring any negative attention to their work.

When I see someone respond like this, I am filled with hope. In fact, over the years, I've seen that people who committed uglier sins but took full responsibility and repented did far better than those who committed less serious sins and tried to sweep them under the rug.

3. Even godly families have kids who mess up badly. Nancy and I only had two kids, and we sought to be godly parents and set godly examples. Yet our older daughter went through a real period of rebellion in her teen years.

As parents, we felt miserable, and I would wonder what I was doing wrong.

Of course, we dealt with her rebellion head on and prayed like crazy for her to really encounter the Lord, but while it was happening, it was terribly deflating spiritually. What kind of father am I? How can I be so ineffective?

Today, we all laugh about those years, and our daughter, who is now 37 and is a devoted wife and mother, is so grateful for the way she was raised. (She and Nancy are the best of friends and are in constant contact.)

The fact that the Duggars, who successfully raised 19 children in the Lord (who can imagine that?), had to deal with one of their kids committing serious sexual sin at 14 should actually encourage other parents rather than discourage them. And perhaps, they can teach us today how this tragic incident helped them come together as a family and draw closer to the Lord.

4. Josh can be an ambassador on behalf of the abused, even helping the abusers, as well. While it can feel like your life is over when your past, largely private sins become public (how many of us would like for that to happen?), the fact is that Josh's future can be bright in the Lord.

He can call on others who are sinning to come clean and get help, using his own example redemptively. And he can encourage those who have been abused to realize that they are not guilty and should not feel shame, also encouraging churches to embrace those who come for help rather than making them feel as if there is something wrong with them.

Why should those who have suffered abuse be stigmatized? They should be our priority for healing and restoration.

5. We need to be careful how we judge. There are many fans of the Duggars who are upset with what they feel is a witch hunt against a godly family, representing one more attempt to remove them from reality TV. (Let me say without qualification that there is life after reality TV, and if the Duggars never do another broadcast, their lives can still be overwhelmingly blessed.)

But would we have had this same attitude of judgment if this was the child of a gay couple? Would we have said, "This proves that gay parents are no good!"?

I certainly believe that kids deserve a mom and a dad and that, optimally, they will do best with a mom and dad, but I don't indict all gay couples because of the failings of one of their kids

So, if you want to show mercy, be consistent. We can all fall into the trap of selective compassion.

6. There are consequences to our actions, but with God, our worst mistakes can become stepping stones to spiritual growth.

Most of us have done things we wish we could take back, and in some cases, the consequences of our bad choices and sinful actions last for decades. Yet with the Lord, no matter how great the stigma of our sin, if we will humble ourselves before Him, He can take those stumbling blocks and turn them into stepping stones, to the point that the worst things that ever happened to us become the best things that ever happened to us.

To the core of His being, God is a redeemer, and I'm personally praying and believing that for Josh Duggar and his entire family, God will turn this painful situation around for greater good.

Let's watch and see.

Sorry, but Johnny Cash was a fraud.

He sang a cover song a few years ago written by Trent Reznor of Nine inch Nails, (a band name that mocks the cross) called "Hurt".

The song glorifies IV drug use,
there is even one line in the song-
"I wear this crown of sh**"

Sound like anything a Christian would sing?
This was only a few years ago, long after Cash was supposedly saved.

Quote# 109035

It has been of great interest to me to observe the critics of the fast growing Home Education movement. It has been my experience that one of the most common accusations made to parents wishing to educate their children at home is that the children will suffer due to lack of socialization. By this the concerned critic of Home Education is voicing the fear that Johnny may end up socially retarded if he does not rub shoulders with enough of his peers and may not know how to get along in society as a well adjusted personality.

Many voices of this school of thought are convinced that maximum exposure for Johnny to friends and activities is an absolute necessity for his well being and has a far-reaching impact on his ability to get along in a complex world.

Not surprisingly many Christians have obligingly accepted this theory as fact and have diligently sought to socialize their children. Most have found out to their chagrin that once their child has been properly socialized they have more than they bargained for.

Instead of producing Spurgeons, Moodys, Hudson Taylors and Abraham Lincolns, socialization has largely produced carnal worldly feeling oriented Laodicean Christian youth.

Even the pagan world has authoritatively documented the deleterious effects of television on young minds. Yet Christians are still heard to not only defend its usage and ownership they maintain one is depriving his family if he destroys the family altar (television). My dear Christian friend your TV is indeed socializing your youngsters but in a way you will profoundly regret in years to come.

How about friends? Surely our children should have many of them especially if they are found in church and at our Christian school. May I respectfully point out that our churches and Christian schools in this country are filled with hardhearted youth whose hearts are clearly inclined toward this world. Because a youngster is involved in a church youth group or Christian school does not guarantee the impeccability of his character! Our girls over the years have confessed to having had sexual intercourse in the church building while activities are going on in other parts of the building! Christian school students use alcohol and dope. They lose their purity; they kill their babies. All of the wickedness you observe in the mass media has been confessed to our staff people by our live-in students who as you know all come from fundamental backgrounds and most of whom were enrolled in Christian schools.

How a child behaves in and adjusts to his family can be a possible forecast of how he will function in the world around him as an adult. This is precisely why it is so vital that he be taught to immediately and sweetly obey authority learn the lessons of self-control over his flesh and feelings and learn how to lovingly interact with his siblings.

[...]

Witness an early agrarian America with its rural economy which in many instances saw families living in comparative isolation from their nearest neighbors. Education and socialization of necessity took place within the confines of the immediate family circle. Responsibility and Godly character thus formed produced a charactered leader such as Abraham Lincoln. On the other hand socialization and peer interaction of contemporary Christian youth may reinforce hardened hearts and questionable character if the child's home is weak; because youth left to socialize (especially in unstructured unsupervised ways) on their own will tend to reinforce one anothers weakness of character. I am convinced no child should be allowed unfettered and unsupervised fraternization outside the family circle if he is not correctly responding to his parents or siblings.

[...]

It is about time some Christian parents said to another set of parents Our kids are not good for one another.

This is not unloving. That is love and genuine caring. We must very carefully gauge the effect children have on one another.

Scripture warns us that evil character is contagious (1 Corinthians 15:33; Haggai 2:12,13; Proverbs 22:24,25). If your child has one friend with evil character he will be infected with that character without exception. You must very carefully choose his friends and associations and just as closely monitor his activities. The chief friends of a child ought to be his Godly parents and secondarily his Godly siblings. Other friends and associations should have a lesser priority.

To some these ideas seem narrow and restrictive. This is true. So are the Scriptures. In fact the Scriptures picture the Godly life in that way and yet it is filled with happiness peace and joy.

Whereas worldly Christians are busily socializing their children to their detriment and exposing them to all manner of things this world has to offer the narrow-minded Fundamentalist agrees with Paul: I would have you wise unto that which is good and simple concerning evil (Romans 16:19). Ask Jacob and Leah how happy they were when their daughter Dinah was socialized! (Genesis 34:15). Read the Old Testament closely and see how God was pleased when Israel became socialized with the pagan nations around her. Israels many compromises and her ultimate apostasy should stand out as clear warnings for us today (1 Corinthians 10:11).

Noah appeared to the world of his day as a religious fanatic yet his family alone was saved. Abraham kept his family at arm s length from his Canaanite neighbors and their filthy abominations and produced a Godly Isaac. Jonadab refused to obey the social planners and polite society of his day maintained a strict lifestyle for himself and his family and had the joy of looking over the ramparts of Heaven 400 years later to see his descendants still living separated lives (Jeremiah 35:5-10) uncontaminated by the world.

It is my prayer that you see the two contrasting principles in all of this. It is the satanically-dominated world which says socialize whereas it is the Word of God that says SEPARATE!

I am against eye-shadow in public as this is a seductive look that ought to be reserved for intimacy between a husband and wife alone. That's just my opinion. I also think it is wrong for teenagers girls to be decked-out like prostitutes. Lip gloss is worldly. Walt Disney dresses young girls up to look like prostitutes. Teenage girls should not be allowed to wear makeup, high heels, or expensive jewelry until they're 18 in my Christian opinion. Walt Disney has successfully turned a generation of young girls into lascivious whores and sex-perverts. I have a right to my opinion, and I think the Walt Disney Corporation is of the Devil.

Earrings are certainly appropriate; but not if they hang down several inches. Also, I think multiple earrings in one ear are a worldly look and should not be worn by Christian women. A woman with 5 or 6 earrings in her ear is worldly. Nose and body piercings are worldly as well. I would refrain from diamonds and expensive looking jewelry that draws attention to itself. I think gold or diamond wedding bands are the exception to the rule, which are acceptable if they appear expensive. Such a token of love and commitment is supposed to be bright and let every man know that a woman is taken. Of course, I wouldn't wear such expensive jewelry walking down the street; but to church should be safe. I think pearls are fine too, but not too many of them or you'll look like a giant clam.

I think dying one's hair a different color is fine and acceptable; but green, orange, blue or other strange colors for hair are worldly. Some women must wear makeup or a wig or dentures due to health problems, which is fine.

Also, tattoos are worldly and should never be placed upon one's body. A popular trend nowadays is for whorish women to have tattoos placed on their lower back. This is wrong.

I think plastic surgery is bad. Breast implants are ridiculous and are associated with many health problems; not to mention they're simply not natural. We are living in a nuthouse society where one's looks are all that matters. We are bombarded with worldly sayings like... "get the look" or "own the room" or "impress your friends." I got those from a recent Home Depot TV commercial of all places. American society has gone insane with body worship. So, in this whacko sex-perverted environment, it is important for Christian ladies to be careful how they dress, as to not contribute to the sexual promiscuity of our time. Certainly, Christian women don't have to wear sackcloth; but "baggy is better" is my motto.

Quote# 109031

A warning to all parents here, of even young ones in elementary school:

I had no idea or had never even heard of this charlie charlie game until Lucid posted about it here. And thank you so much for doing so!

I don't know why, but as I posted the response here yesterday I felt within me a prompting (by the Holy Spirit I'm sure) to talk to my youngest daughter about this. She has just recently turned 9 years old and is in 3rd grade. I asked her had she ever heard of or played the charlie charlie game. She looked back at me, surprise in her eyes, and said why, how do you know about it, and kind of like she thought she was in trouble (by me).

I told her that she is not in trouble but that it is a very serious thing and that I needed for her to be honest with me in her answers. She told me about the game, which you can look it up if you google it (it's apparently quite the 'thing' to do right now and is taking the internet by storm and especially with young children), only she told me at the end of it they had to break up the pencils. She told me that she herself had never played the game but that she has watched her friends playing it, both at school and in our neighborhood (neighborhood kids she hangs out with range in age from 5-12). She told me that she has also looked at you tube videos of people doing it and that her friends talk about it a lot. She then brought up another 'game' her friends play, the Bloody Mary game.

I question seriously whether or not she has indeed played herself and just doesn't want to tell me but she insists she herself has not. We've watched the silly horror/paranormal movies before which come on lifetime network (I've been watching while she walks in and then starts watching and she has asked about horror movies and things like that and I've always told her that it's not true, it's all fake, just a movie, not real, etc...). She told me she thought the game was the same thing, that she knows there are real demons just as there are angels of the Lord but that she thought was just a game. I explained to her that the only one we ever talk to, pray to, ask questions, the ONLY one we ever go to is Jesus. I didn't want to scare her too badly but I made it clear that demons are very real and by playing such games, that it is NOT a game at all and that once a demon has any kind of hold on a person's life, that person's life could be made very difficult. I told her never again is she allowed to even watch her friends play the game and if they are doing it she is to tell them that she is a child of Jesus Christ and to turn and leave. I told her to tell her friends that they shouldn't be doing what they are and to make clear to them the evil that they are messing with and that they are messing with Satan. After our talk we prayed together, for forgiveness, for strength to not fall to peer pressure, and that any damage already done, any presence of any demon we rebuke in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Later in the evening, as she was on her ipad, she asked me was it ok to just watch videos of it but to not actually do it and I said NO Angelina! Not ok! And we talked again and let's just say I'm pretty sure I put the fear of God into her (if that is what it takes to keep her away from this occult garbage that is obviously very prevalent among children and in our schools, then that is what it takes). She has promised me and Jesus not to ever again do the charlie charlie game, to watch, to participate in any way and the same with ouija boards, tarot cards, fortune telling, and just anything that gives her a feeling in her spirit that she should not be participating in. (We talked about that feeling, which is the Holy Spirit within us which just tells us that we are doing something we shouldn't be and she did say she felt that feeling and also why she became upset and thought she was in trouble as soon as I asked her about the game.)

A warning to all out there, sit down with your children and talk to them about this. I've never really sat Angelina down and talked to her about demons, occult, ouija boards, etc. We only talked about Jesus, did devotionals, read from the Bible and I never thought was a need to make her aware of such evil at her young age. Obviously, I was wrong. No matter how young they are, talk to them and make them aware of the evil that is out there, and that with social media as it is, is so easy for them to fall prey to.

Modest" means not extreme or bold, and not morally loose. Those can apply to pants, yes; but when I have on a pair of pants, I don't feel that my body is covered. Pants are form-fitting, thus exposing my body. That's just how I feel. The illustration that Cathy Corle uses is two pictures of the same woman. The first one has her in a nice dress. She asked a group of ladies what they noticed about this woman, and they answered her face. Then she showed them the picture of the same woman in a pair of jeans and asked what they noticed. They said their eyes were immediately drawn to the crotch area! That drove home to me that clothes can emphasize the body or the face; I'd rather have folks, especially men, notice my face and not my body. Again, this is my feeling.

The other thing that convinced me was the doctrine of separation from the world. The fashion of the world is to wear pants (patterned after men's clothing). This wasn't the case until about 100 years ago, when actresses began wearing pant suits that resembled men's suits. Before that, women almost universally wore dresses (I remember my Granny saying that she wore her brother's overalls to pick cotton to keep her legs from getting all scratched up). So the fashion of the world became women wearing pants. I felt that, to be separate from the world, I needed to dress differently than the world. I also needed to be feminine and distinctively female; there should be a noticeable difference between my clothes and a man's clothes. The difference in our culture is that women wear dresses and men wear pants, so I believe it's right for me to wear dresses.

I too have wondered, usually in total disgust, at the very timidity that you nicely refer to as politeness. Repubs don't seem to understand that the Humanist Democrat party has left the reservation as far as decency, honesty, integrity and morals are concerned. The problem seems to be the world view difference between Christians and non-believers. The left operates by the principles of the ruler of this world, the Deceiver, and they are ruthless, soulless, and venomous. Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" is a good, cynical primer on how to win using lies, slander, manipulation and intimidation; and I don't think any Republican candidates for President have ever read it. The right has a foundation of decency and respect for others that comes from their Christian background; although they often display their own contempt for Christian principles in their own lust for power and mammon.

The last Democratic national convention was a good lesson in how far the Dem party has sunk. Three times, in a voice vote, the entire convention loudly proclaimed against God as they were asked to vote on whether to include God in the national Democratic party platform. The large majority of Godless delegates were then overruled by the chair. But that is the spirit we are battling - Godless, lawless, soulless. I am praying that there will be a conservative candidate who will actually recognize the lawlessness of the left for what it is, and will actually fight it. We've had enough of wimpy candidates who want to "reach across the aisle" and play nice with the rabid doggies.

The juggernaut of SIN continues onward with its relentless move towards its Worldwide dominion over sound reason and a Godly perspective.

Anyone with half a brain knows that the practises of being a homosexual are in violation to what is natural, clean, and GOD centred....HOWEVER.......

We are living in the final seconds of GODs time-clock for humanity, with SIN reining supreme over 'sound logic' & Godly wisdom, as according to The Holy Bible, this World, at present, belongs to satan, and his minions, with The TRUTH, being CHRIST Jesus, currently curtailed...until The Heavenly Father sees fit to deliver to humanity HIS supreme 'check-mate', being the return of The Savior of humanity, in ALL HIS magnificent GLORY, as KING of kings & LORD of lords, to reign over a New Earth, from a New Jerusalem.

To understand what I state, will require a 'genuine' Born Again experience.

Meanwhile...Homosexuality, sodomy and the practise of buggery are all SIN, that will, unless repented of, send its perpetrator, directly to hell, with NO 'get out of jail card, NO phone a friend, with ZERO rights of appeal.

SIN is humanities problem, with CHRIST Jesus being The One & Only Solution given by The Father....for...SIN.

When women take their clothes off in public, sins and crimes are eventually going to happen, it's inevitable. A woman who advertises her body doesn't deserve to be raped, but she is certainly asking to be raped, and she may get what she is provoking. Any women who doesn't understand what I am saying is either very naive, a complete idiot, or a godless rebel headed for judgment from God. Sensual clothing provokes lust from men.

There is nothing more despicable and evil than a whorish woman who intentionally dresses immodestly to lure the eyes of men, to tease them, and she enjoys watching men struggle with lust. No godly women would ever stoop that low. If I were a king and had my way, women would be placed under arrest for exposing their thighs and bosoms in public. They would be convicted and given prison time, depending on how many times they had been warned. First offences would be a week in prison. Second offenses would be one month. Third offenses would be one year. After the fourth offense, she'd rot behind bars for 5-years. During that time in prison, she would be taught how to walk, dress, speak and behave like a lady. She would learn to sew and make clothes for herself and family.

What happens thousands of times each day in America is that men are charged with sexual harassment, ogling a woman, or jailed for sexual crimes they commit, because they were provoked to lascivious lust by a whorish woman (or women). The court system always goes after men, but not a word is ever said to the slutty little whore who took all her clothes off and enjoyed every minute of teasing others. Talk about evil!

Quote# 109013

[What happens to those who have never heard about Jesus?]

The problem is “there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God” (Romans 3:11). People reject the knowledge of God that is present in nature and in their own hearts, and instead decide to worship a “god” of their own creation. It is foolish to debate the fairness of God sending someone to hell who never had the opportunity to hear the gospel of Christ. People are responsible to God for what God has already revealed to them. The Bible says that people reject this knowledge, and therefore God is just in condemning them to hell.

Instead of debating the fate of those who have never heard, we, as Christians, should be doing our best to make sure they do hear. We are called to spread the gospel throughout the nations (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8). We know people reject the knowledge of God revealed in nature, and that must motivate us to proclaim the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. Only by accepting God’s grace through the Lord Jesus Christ can people be saved from their sins and rescued from an eternity apart from God.

If we assume that those who never hear the gospel are granted mercy from God, we will run into a terrible problem. If people who never hear the gospel are saved, it is logical that we should make sure no one ever hears the gospel. The worst thing we could do would be to share the gospel with a person and have him or her reject it. If that were to happen, he or she would be condemned. People who do not hear the gospel must be condemned, or else there is no motivation for evangelism. Why run the risk of people possibly rejecting the gospel and condemning themselves when they were previously saved because they had never heard the gospel?

Quote# 109008

LONG BEFORE the birth of Christianity, monotheism was an anomaly; Europe and the Near East flourished under the divine guidance of Sophia, the ancient goddess of wisdom. The Earth was venerated as the embodiment of Sophia and thus sacred to the people who sought divine fulfillment in her presence.

This ancient harmonious, nature-based philosophy was threatening to the emerging salvationist, sacrificial creed of Christianity which was based on the patriarchal dominion over the Earth and damanded personal suffering as a path to the afterlife. The old ways could not be tolerated by this alien intruder, and so in the early centuries of the 1st millennium the Christian hordes obliterated every trace of the ancient spiritual traditions, casting Europe into the Dark Ages...

IN THE GNOSTIC GOSPELS of Nag Hammadi, written in the 1st Century, the writers warn us about the god of the Bible. Known as the "Demiurge" or "Yaldabaoth", he is described as an insane, demented imposter deity who works against humanity. He is "a self-deified inorganic phantom, deluded about his own identity."

The word "Demiurge" literally means "half-working" or "half-powered" - so called because he can originate nothing, but must imitate what already exists. The leader of the extraterrestrial Archon race, he is also called Saklas ("fool"), Samael ("blin") - and Yaldabaoth to the Gnostics. This is the biblical father god of the Old Testament, Yahweh or Jehovah - the god still worshiped by millions of Jews, Christians and Muslims today!

YALDABAOTH is a demented pretender god who claims to be the creator of the material world, and demands slavish obedience from his human subjects, while he works to undermine the evolution and destiny of humanity. According to the Gnostic writings, "Yaldabaoth himself chose a certain man named Abraham, and made a covenant with him" - and so began the devastating salvationist, misogynistic religions of monotheism that have so devastated our world.

ARCHONS are predatory cyborgs, lacking creativity, but can imitate with a vengeance. Their expertise is simulation ('HAL', virtual reality), and the Demiurge fashioned a heaven world, copied from the Sophianic original, but completely fake. This Archontic heaven is the afterworld for countless humans who are duped by the simulation presented by messianic, salvationist religion (Christianity).

This fake 'salvation' by superhuman powers, rather than through the divine potential innate to humanity and aligned with the planetary goddess Sophia, is the hallmark of extraterrestrial religion. It is the root cause of most of the problems that currently beset humanity.

[Re. the "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" film]

Early in the movie, Harry Potter (played by Daniel Radcliffe) is filmed asking an attractive African girl (Elarica Gallagher) if she'll go out with him after work that night at 11 p.m. Dumbledore then arrives and takes Harry Potter on a quest to see something, thus ruining Harry's date. Dumbledore later tells Potter that he apologies for denying him a night of pleasure. The entire spirit of the scene implies sexual immorality (fornication). This has become the prevalent sinful attitude of the world today, i.e., that it's acceptable to have sex outside of a marriage commitment for the mere sake of sexual gratification. It is wickedness. Harry Potter sends a wrong message to children. Why is there mild sensual content in a series targeted towards children in the first place? There is no talk of marriage or making a lifetime commitment in Harry Potter, Hogwart's students are simply wanting to have sex.

A good punishment for Josh Duggar?

Since as a young teen, Josh fondled girls, which could damage their trust of men, which could damage their future marriage, which could damage their future family, we should make Josh Duggar work the rest of his life to help families stay together and help them recognize how twisted the world is and how God offers instruction on how to live righteously! He should be forced to push faith, family and freedom in the public showing the Christian worldview has the answers.
We should force him to get a job at the Family Research Council* whose mission is "to advance faith, family and freedom in public policy and the culture from a Christian worldview."

That would be a great punishment!

But wait! He already asked forgiveness, went to the authorities, went through counseling, and was honest and open about his sin to those who needed to know. He already served "his punishment."

In reality, that would be a great calling for his life's work, demonstrating the amazing grace of God to the world!

*Edited because some people don't realize that Josh was working at the Family Research Council when this came out. This is from the Family Research Council President Tony Perkins.

"Washington, D.C. - Family Research Council President Tony Perkins released the following statement regarding the resignation of Josh Duggar:
"Today Josh Duggar made the decision to resign his position as a result of previously unknown information becoming public concerning events that occurred during his teenage years.
"Josh believes that the situation will make it difficult for him to be effective in his current work. We believe this is the best decision for Josh and his family at this time. We will be praying for everyone involved," concluded Perkins.

Yes, making someone pay a "fair" wage IS anti-Christian.  If you doubt it ask yourself where in the bible Christ said to FORCE someone to pay a certain wage.  In fact, Christ told a parable about paying field workers AND said "render unto Caesar"....

Fairness is NOT a religious concept because it implies the decider is a god.  In fact Christ didnt say treat others fairly, He said do unto others as ...

Seriously, you are very poorly educated on what Christ said or have been gravely mislead by Liberation Theology type thoughts and idols.

The demon-possessed singer Katy Perry parades her lewdness, featured on the heathen cover of Rolling Stone magazine in her panties, hypocritically talking about what God means to her. Evidently God doesn't mean enough for Katy Perry to keep her clothes on. Perry says her parents channeled God by speaking-in-tongues. They raised a spoiled brat. Perry went from Gospel singer to a lesbian-lusting loser. Katy Perry is of the Devil. In Perry's latest 2010 album and song of the same title, TEENAGE DREAM, she invites the listener to put your hands down into her skin tight

It doesn't surprise me that the same society that has murdered over 50,000,000 of it's own children, in a Rock 'N' Roll culture of celebrity idol worship, would also scoff and laugh at my preaching concerning Biblical morality. It is a sin for women to wear tight pants, miniskirts and open blouses. It is a sin for women to pose in women's catalogs, because they KNOW that millions of men will also look through those catalogs and commit adultery. It is a sin to become a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader, stripping down almost naked and showing the crowds their underwear while kicking their legs in the air. Bally dancing is the most filthy trash on earth. Plays and theatre performances are nothing but whore shows. Get right with God America!!!

Quote# 108988

The Bible plainly evidences in the account of king David committing adultery with Bath-sheba the dangers of women displaying their naked bodies in public. David went out on his roof and saw Bathsheba bathing naked and the rest is history . . .

2nd Samuel 11:2, “And it came to pass in an eveningtide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king's house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon. And David sent and enquired after the woman. And one said, Is not this Bath-sheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite? And David sent messengers, and took her; and she came in unto him, and he lay with her.”

Bath-sheba was either careless or deliberately seduced king David. The man after God's own heart chose to commit adultery because of a naked woman. This plainly evidences WHY women ought to wear proper attire in public. Godless women don't care; Christian women do care. It is sinful for whores like Taylor Swift and Katy Perry to lie on the ground in sensual poses, rolling around in lingerie on TV, jumping around in their panties on YouTube, behaving like demon-possessed heathens, and leading the world's young girls to follow their evil example. No wonder the abortion rate is so high, adultery and fornication are epidemic in America, and moral looseness has become the norm. Lesbianism is everywhere, a consequence of unrestrained lusts (Romans 1:24-27). God's curse is upon our nation.

Nothing has changed in 3,000 years since David and Bath-Sheba. Sexual sins are commonplace in the world today, especially in America because of all the whorishly unclothed women. Americans live in a sexually degenerate, perverted, and sensual society... a SEX-SICKO SOCIETY! Such women are evil in their hearts, who value the lustful attention of men rather than the praise of God for being a virtuous woman. There are no women any uglier spiritually than whores like Madonna, Anna Nicole Smith, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry (Hudson), Sandra Bullock, and hundreds more who strip naked for the world to lust upon.

[Ireland today is very hospitable]

Unfortunately, not to human persons. The understanding of the human person in Ireland is clearly lost to relativism. Ireland is hospitable to Leninism and most likely a form of Trotskyism from there. The human person has one sexuality that is related to the complementarity of the two kinds. The worldly concerns of the political decline is less relevant than the lack of understanding of who we are.
We are from God and destined to return to Him. He humbled Himself and became a man, Jesus Christ, through a woman, Mary, The Queen of Heaven. Marriage is defined by the relationship of Jesus to His Church, and it involves unfathomable love expressed in His Passion and Death on the Cross.
I pray that Ireland can come to recognize who the human person is, again, and throw off the lies and deception that blinds the majority. Join Him in His Ressuraectino and take on the blessing He pours forth in the New Covenant through Pentecost.

(on whether priests should legally have to report crimes they were told about in confessionals. Emphasis mine)

If you make priests mandated reporters like that, you'll ensure that, on the same day, everyone stops confessing their crimes to priests. And we lose one of the only forces in our entire society capable of pulling some people back from committing future crimes. I know I used to cut myself for years, and because mandated reporter laws meant that I would literally be arrested, forced to go to a mental hospital, or forced to take psychoactive drugs against my will, (all of which have happened to my friends), if I told my guidance counselor, any of my teachers, a therapist, or pretty much any trustworthy adult or authority figure about it, I just didn't talk to anybody who might have actually been helpful during that whole time period. You know who I did talk to? Lots of people on omegle. Because they couldn't track me down and literally ruin my life. People on omegle didn't have a lot of helpful things to say. I stitched my own leg closed once rather than go to the hospital. That shit hurts. I also could easily have died, because I don't know what the fuck I'm doing when it comes to stitching flesh.

Quote# 108983

Several years ago, my pastor gave some principles for Christian dress. They're very helpful, and they can be applied to male or female, pants or dresses.

1. Modesty - does this clothing cover me adequately? I Tim. 2:9

2. Not worldly - does this clothing reflect the current trends of Hollywood and TV? I John 2:15

3. Difference - does this clothing easily show there's a difference between me and the opposite gender? Deut. 22:5

4. Inoffensive - does this clothing offend a brother or sister in Christ? As a woman, will this cause my brother to stumble or think lustfully about me? Rom 14:7-8,12-13 I Cor. 10:23; 8:13

5. Glorifies God - does this clothing glorify God, or does it call attention to me and glorify me? I Cor. 10:31

As for this being a matter between a wife, husband, and God:

A saved man will encourage his wife to do what God is laying on her heart. Several ladies have mentioned how their husbands didn't see the need for dresses only, but supported them in wearing them because the ladies felt that is what God wanted them to do. With an unsaved husband, the dress issue can be a witness to her husband in one of two ways: if he doesn't mind her wearing dresses only, it can be a witness of her changed life; if he doesn't want her to wear dresses only, her submission to him in this area will be a witness to him (especially if she makes sure to wear what pleases him when they are at home, even if she wears dresses all the rest of the time).

This issue is just like any other that families have to make a decision about. If your heart is open to do whatever God wants you to, and you study scriptures related to it and come to a different conclusion than others, you've done what you need to to follow God's leading. We have freedom in Christ to follow Him as He leads us to. I don't know why some people develop certain convictions and others don't. How people dress is not a salvation issue; it's a separation issue. It's not my job to win them over to my way of thinking on separation - it's the Holy Spirit's job to teach them how God wants them to live. If they ask why I believe something, I'll tell them; otherwise, I stay quiet.
