In another note, he said: "The first chance I would get with a rifle if he crosses my path is to murder Prince Charles."

Colborne also ranted about the killers of black teenager Stephen Lawrence as they were sent to jail, prosecutor Annabel Darlow QC said.

In one entry dated 20 May 2012 he said: “I want to perform strategic coordinated different attacks on the systems tyrants and tyrants in and around the septic island.”

The following year he wrote about finding information about building “nerve gases which are as deadly as small-yield nukes”.

Colborne added: “'I'm stuck between committing mass destruction using a weapon of mass destruction and just targeting tyrants.

“I have often wanted to smear on toxin on their door handles that in time seeps through their skin and kills them but doing it to more than one neighbour would arouse suspicion.”

Colborne fantasised about transforming from a ginger-haired victim into a military terrorist, the court heard.

He wrote in his diary on 28 April 2013: "I want my legacy to say that I fought a one man war against the capitalist regime.

"I want them to see my transition from poor red-haired victimised minority that is constantly walked over to a fully transformed military terrorist striking at the hearts of the bigoted tyrannical rulers and of course the dark-haired, dark-eyes Caucasian race.

"I will be heard through terror."

The court had heard how Colborne, who suffered from depression and agoraphobia, trawled the Internet for explosives and poisons.

He went on to acquire chemicals over the Internet forming the essential ingredients for the deadly poison cyanide as well as stockpiling dust masks, metal filter funnels, plastic syringes and latex gloves, jurors were told.

But in June last year, his half brother Kevin Colborne alerted police after he uncovered the chemicals and papers detailing Colborne's racial hatred stashed amid the clutter of his room at the family home in Southampton in June last year.

The prosecutor said Colborne had a "troubled" childhood and saw himself as marginalised because he was a white, ginger-haired male.

Colborne denies preparing terrorist acts.

The trial continues.

It's really sort of a mixed bag for me. On the one hand, any sort of decline in Christianity is inherently a bad thing, but on the other hand, the decline of mainline Protestantism is to be expected (this has been happening for decades). I think that American Christianity has been more American than Christian for quite some time. I mean, the fact that so many people are more concerned with so-called "marriage equality" than religious freedom is telling.

So the main question is, what's the best scenario for the re-evangelization of America? Is it better to let Atheism take over, then swoop in once people have realized they made the wrong choice, or is it more important to let the majority of American Christians think of themselves as Christians despite their beliefs being closer to moral therapeutic Deism? Personally, I think it'd be healthier to start with square one, than to have to re-educate people who already think of themselves as Christian. It boils down to what's easier: converting a Pagan to Christianity, or convincing a heretical Christian that his views are contrary to orthodox Christianity?

Either way, Christianity has survived as a persecuted minority religion before, so it's safe to assume that it'll survive in the future as well.

P.S. I'm not necessarily saying that Christianity is currently being persecuted in the US (it'd be foolish to claim that it isn't happening elsewhere, given how many Christians have died at the hands of ISIS). If I were trying to say that Christians were currently being persecuted, I'd have said something like "Just like in the past, Christianity has survived persecution, thus it will endure this current persecution as well". Though, like many traditionalist religious people, I'm concerned that when it comes to gay rights versus religious rights, the religious are going to lose. You might say that's a good thing, but I clearly disagree. While you're probably going to think I'm wrong to be against gay marriage, I at least think I'm consistent in that I also criticize American Christianity for allowing no-fault divorce and contraception. I think it's silly that many conservatives are claiming to defend traditional marriage by opposing same-sex marriage, but are totally fine with divorce (which also goes against traditional marriage).

Concerning future persecution of Christianity, it only seems natural. As Western society continues to distance itself from its Christian roots, Christian values will become more out of sync with secular values. Eventually, the religious will be forced to suffer quietly, while "enlightened" Progressivists have their say as to the future of the human race. Have you heard of those Atheist folks that want to make passing your religion onto your children illegal? For many Atheists they dream of a future where religion is either non-existent, or neutered. Would they go so far as to ban religion? Probably not. But things like making proselytizing illegal aren't that far-fetched. Am I wrong to feel concerned when society is moving in a direction I think is wrong? Wouldn't you be concerned too if, say, America were instead in another religious revival?

A recent commotion at University of California, Davis, led to a walk-out by pro-Israel students with other students shouting “Allahu Akbar” as they left. The event occurred during a meeting of the Student Government Council who was voting on a Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) resolution.

BDS is a world-wide, pro-Palestinian (thus: anti-Israel) movement seeking to damage the Israeli economy. It has chapters on campuses to pressure the university trust funds to boycott Israeli businesses and investments.

After the walkout, the Student Council voted 8 to 2 in favor of the resolution to boycott and divest, much to the satisfaction of the pro-Hamas group Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) who had championed the vote. Jewish leaders and their friends on campus knew the situation was serious when a couple of swastikas were painted on a Jewish frat house a few days later.

UC Davis leaders said that the student resolution does not affect their investment strategies which are set by the UC Regents. Nevertheless, this is only one example of a global effort to discredit Israel’s right to exist. BDS goals are the return of all Palestinian lands to Arab control and the dismantling of the wall that Israel has built to keep out suicide bombers. Of course, if done, Israel would simply cease to exist. This is just one small example of the rising tide of anti-Israel sentiment worldwide. Some of the campaign is the result of general Western hatred for the Jews fostered by Roman Catholicism’s “Replacement Theology.” For centuries, Rome has claimed that the “people of God” is now the “church” and God is done with Israel because they rejected their Messiah.

The Holy Land is just the repository of historical relics to be venerated by the “faithful,” and the Zionists should go off somewhere like Argentina to build their nation and leave the rest of the world in peace. This “anti-Semitism” has plagued the Jews for centuries culminating in Hitler’s attempt to solve the “Jewish problem.”

This latent anti-Israel sentiment in the Western World is only present in political and economic pressure on Israel, but a far more sinister dragon is breathing real fire on the neck of this sturdy little country. “Militant” Islam has vowed to eliminate both Israel (little Satan) and the “Great Satan,” America.

There are hundreds of pro-Islam groups like BDS dedicated to this larger cause. The rise of ISIS in Syria and Iraq is just the latest expression of the Qur’an-inspired violence that awaits all non-Muslim peoples if Islamists have their way.

So, what should the Bible believer do as we watch the “heathen rage?” World leaders are mostly focused on appeasement or military defeat. But the real solution is elsewhere, largely ignored by those leaders. Bible readers know that this is a cosmic spiritual war. Most of the governments of this world are “secular,” opting out of taking sides on spiritual issues. This leaves them defenseless against nations or movements that are fanatical about a spiritual mission.

Islam’s mission is to rule the world for Allah. Even “moderate” Muslims are committed by default to this mission, since they know of no other option.

As soul winners, that is where we come in. We have a superior spiritual option. We just need to get it out there where they can see it. Saturation with no-nonsense gospel tracts can help lay the foundation for the revival that we need to get Islam’s (and everyone else’s) attention.

Beheadings by ISIS are mild compared to the brutal tactics used by Hitler and Genghis Kan. Unless we get busy and promote revival, our time will be short before our freedom to do it will be squelched.

This is not how the story is being reported, however. For example, a story in Politico carries the headline, "Barack Obama denounces 'conversion therapies' for gays," with the words "conversion therapies" in quotes, as if to suggest there's some doubt that homosexuals can return to being straight. This is all too typical of the mentality that grips the major media and is designed to suggest that homosexuality is somehow natural and cannot be changed. But honest journalism, which is virtually non-existent when covering homosexuality, would take a different approach to the topic.

The other side of the story would include reporting that Obama's political proclamation in favor of outlawing sexual-orientation change therapy not only constitutes crass exploitation of the terrible suicide of a mixed-up young person named Joshua Alcorn but serves as an indictment of his Christian parents. Joshua was confused about his sexuality and had begun referring to himself as a girl, Leelah. The parents had tried to get help for the troubled 17-year-old before he committed suicide.

The implication of the Politico-style reporting on this topic is that being "homosexual and transgender" is a fact of life that cannot be changed. That's false. But the media just can't bring themselves to report the facts.

Politico says the parents in this case found religious therapists who "attempted to convert her [Leelah] back into a boy." This, too, is false. The child was a boy. Politico calls him "a transgender girl," another falsehood.

In essence, Obama is proposing to ban parents, on a national basis, from seeking help for their children when they go through confusing times or have sexual problems. This is the totalitarian mind-set of the gay rights movement and its supporters.

From Obama's perspective, these parents stand in the way of creating an army of "LGBT" young people who will forever be grateful to the President for standing up for their "rights." Like the dope smokers in Colorado, participating in what Obama calls an "experiment," these young people constitute another Democratic Party constituency. Obama doesn't seem concerned, however, about the consequences of their immoral behavior. After all, he was a heavy dope smoker and look what happened to him and where he ended up.

What Christians Really Hate - No, it is not the Gays

The bible message does not allow for the hatred of any individuals or group, regardless of their viewpoints or practices. If some hatred were allowed most Christian would probably be inclined to hate those who insist we hate the gays.

The use of the word "homophobia" is subterfuge being used as the last day's PC war cry for anyone who does not want to face the serious nature and consequences of their own worst behaviors.

Not wanting to bake cakes for gays is nothing when considering that Christians are called upon to refrain from even mentioning what gays do in secret - why would they consent to promote or celebrate such behaviors. [Here he quotes Ephesians 5:11-12.]

Regardless of which way these legal battles turn out one thing is clear the only thing real Christians hate about the gays is the fact that more creatures created in the image of God will be cast into an eternal hell.

Concern and sadness about the loss of their lives and futures is something that compassionate believers all share because it is not the will of God that anyone should perish. If it is not God's will then it is not our will.
