The inevitable result is a crisis of belief for many Catholics. Throughout history, when Catholics and other believers in revealed religion have been forced to choose between being taught by God or instructed by politicians, professors, editors of major newspapers and entertainers, many have opted to go along with the powers that be. This reduces a great tension in their lives, although it also brings with it the worship of a false god. It takes no moral courage to conform to government and social pressure. It takes a deep faith to “swim against the tide,” as Pope Francis recently encouraged young people to do at last summer’s World Youth Day.

Swimming against the tide means limiting one’s access to positions of prestige and power in society. It means that those who choose to live by the Catholic faith will not be welcomed as political candidates to national office, will not sit on editorial boards of major newspapers, will not be at home on most university faculties, will not have successful careers as actors and entertainers. Nor will their children, who will also be suspect. Since all public institutions, no matter who owns or operates them, will be agents of the government and conform their activities to the demands of the official religion, the practice of medicine and law will become more difficult for faithful Catholics. It already means in some States that those who run businesses must conform their activities to the official religion or be fined, as Christians and Jews are fined for their religion in countries governed by Sharia law.

“Japan is similar to Germany, but with 1.5x its population, several times its problems (e.g. even more rapidly aging population…”

I don’t see aging as much of a problem. Ethic diversity, however, is a huge problem, since it always, without fail, 100% of the time leads to conflict. Germany is getting more and more diverse, while Japan is mostly staying homogeneous. Japan 1, Germany 0.

By the way, the riots that recently went down in Moscow would have been unimaginable in the Moscow of my youth. This is because the Moscow of my youth was far more homogeneous than the modern city.

“the current government is disinvesting in the future (university education)…”

We disagree here. Educating the best of the best minds is always important, but that’s not where most of the money in modern higher ed goes. It goes into wasting the most productive years of millions of average minds on stuff they don’t need and cannot possibly find interesting, and on creating meaningless work for the people employed by the system. Britain’s spectacular past was full of world-transforming geniuses (Newton, Darwin, Faraday, Turing, etc.), yet for centuries the Brits seem to have only had two universities. It was enough. Civilization is moved forward by a few.

“Though at first glance India might appear similar to China, or at least following in its footsteps, the real situation is far gloomier.”

The Chinese tend to be proud of China. In contrast, I’ve heard Indians badmouth India on numerous occasions. This is because they tend to reserve their pride for their castes or religious communities instead. If no one identifies with the state, then no one will feel any compunction stealing from it and the state will always be weak. When I think of this sort of stuff, I’m always reminded of the phrase “?? ??????? ??????” (“I feel sorry for the country”) from White Sun of the Desert. You can’t have a powerful state unless a lot of people feel that way.

“This makes [Turkey] a role model – and possible future leader – for many Muslims in the Middle East…”

That’s what the guys at the New York Times and the Economist want to believe. I don’t think secularism is likely to make anyone a role model in the Middle East. And as the West’s importance wanes, any prestige associated with being Westernized should go down, not up.

Pat Robertson informed viewers today that he once saved a woman “in Africa” who was “watching a tape of ‘The 700 Club’” just as a “group of thugs came into her house and threatened to kill her.”

“While the program I was on the air, I began praying, this is a tape mind you, and the power of God fell so strong that those thugs were literally paralyzed and they began to run from the house they were so terrified because of the power of God on that program, on that tape,” he said.

Robertson was responding to a viewer who asked if his “words of knowledge” about viewers, which he says can heal members of his audience, can work for people watching reruns of the show.

Please do not speculate that I have even the slightest superstitious impulse in me. The only people who are less superstitious than fanatical atheists (who do not believe in any supernatural powers) are fanatical Christians (who do not believe in any supernatural powers aside from the Omnipotent, and are strictly forbidden in any case to evoke them).

No, sir, take me at my word. I am being utterly honest with you. I know about my writing the one thing my readers do not know. I know how much is perspiration and how much is inspiration.

Materialists who think inspiration comes from the unconscious mind credit that part of your brain that does not have conscious thoughts with miraculous and godlike powers of creativity, nuance, word choice, rhythm, human insight, and so on. Humbug. Materialism is a crass superstition, as illogical as belief in a lucky rabbits foot, and a philosopher such as I will have no part of their nonsense.

No, the principle of Occam’s razor, that most scientific of principles, says not to multiple entities in a theory without necessity. When I write, I can see inside my head which ideas are the stupid and laborious ones I come up with, and which pop into my head as if from nowhere.

Theories of modern physics to one side, Einstein is right and Heisenberg is wrong, and God does not play at dice, and nothing comes from nothing. No entity and no event can come from a cause which is insufficient to create that cause, for the same reason that Rocs do not hatch from chicken eggs.

Hence, logically, if story elements, images, characters, plot twists, events, word choices and so on pop into my awareness in my mind, and I do not see their origins anywhere in my mind, then they come from outside my mind, from a source capable of understanding and producing great art.

An unconscious mind or unaware awareness sounds like a contradiction in terms, and the idea that an unaware awareness is aware of abstractions like plot and theme and symmetry and so on is nonsense.

So the source of thoughts found in me, if they did not come from me, come from an outside source. You may call it what you will. The ancient Greek called them the Muses, and I see no reason to demean them with a less dignified name.

Now, I am open to the possibility that spirits more righteous and upright than merely pagan goddesses are behind any of my writing that shows truly holy spirit in it, but at this point to speculate further may be beyond human wisdom, and is certainly beyond mind.

Everything happens for a cause. The cause must be sufficient to explain the outcome: a firecracker cannot blow up Hiroshima. A work of art cannot be created by a non-deliberate or natural or blind because art is deliberate, insightful, meaningful. If it comes into my mind from somewhere, that someone from whence it comes cannot be my mind, but it has to be something like a mind, something (or, rather, someone) who is conscious and capable of artistic creative thought. The unconscious mind does not think since thought is consciousness: the two words mean the same thing.

The only two possibilities are that these inspired thoughts arise in me from a human mind or a divine one. If it were a human mind, there would be a physical cable or channel physically carrying the nerve impulses into my brain. Which is absurd. Therefore, etc., QED.

As one raised from childhood in End-time beliefs, on realizing the discrepancies between Scriptural verses and the doctrine, it began the turn around.

Many years of more Bible study, research, a deep brain wash opposing and only a gradual willingness to differ from the millions, resulted in complete emancipation from the curse of the Judaizers and inbuilt errors. So I wrote a book, published, with two sides. But our own publishing in India resulted in thousands hearing the truth.

[John] Calvin apparently had a name, Cohen and his philosophy does not jell with Scripture. His writings ended in the bin.

Darby, British aristocrat, named John Nelson Darby, after his godfather, Lord Horatio Nelson, Battle of Trafalgar. He mingled with the Establishment, some of whom were into 'the Jews' (after all many Jewesses were married off to the aristocracy). Involvement in the Middle East, Mediterranean, was a thrust for more power.

The Jews were aided by Oliver Cromwell who then had Charles I beheaded.

Darby founded Exclusive, Plymouth Brethren and published his 'revelation' in 1828. He had copied somewhat from one written a couple of centuries previously by a Jesuit/Jewish monk. He visited the U.S.A. six times, sent by the rich British East India Company.

Schofield copied Darby's doctrine as footnotes in his Bible, with the financial help of Jews. Almost all western Christians for decades, extending until 1960 at least, had this Bible or read the notes. Preachers used it as the Seminaries and Bible Schools of U.S.A. inculcated the doctrine into millions of students.

Myer Pearlman, supposed converted Jew, a leader in the early Assemblies of God whose 'knowing the doctrines of the Bible' was used extensively for years by Pentecostals/Baptists I would state now emphatically, was not truly converted.

He, a brilliant scholar of Jewish colleges, friends of leaders there, 10,000 books in his library, never mentioned one thing about the evil of the Judaizers, Talmud, Kabbalah, nor exposed their grievous evils, as Brother Nathanael does.

We have been bewitched through their Satanic orgies and through the 'plants' working as wolves in all of these myriads of churches. They do hold many saints who follow Christ. I have known thousands.

The sexuality-as-power lobby wants to shift the reins of control from men to women and from younger women to older ones. Younger women are fulfilling their biological imperative thereby submitting themselves to men or to a scheme that plays into men’s strategies. Older women expressing their sexuality is a way for them to hold sway over the purse strings to power. They are having sex on their own terms rather than due to some ingrained chore or obligation. The sex peak myth is a catalyst for creating sexual autonomy.

You can all join hands and insist that Joan Rivers is in heaven, and it won’t change the fact that she’s in hell!

She sinned willfully, openly and proudly, all the days of her life, and taught others to sin in the same manner. She spent out her days on this earth mocking God with her vile words! She mocked every righteous standard of God! She mocked God’s people who humbly warned her! On Thursday, she learned first hand that God is not mocked! You will indeed reap what you sow!

Are you hearing me, Melissa? Are you hearing me, Connor? Don’t follow Joan to hell! You are in mourning at this hour, but be sure that you are mourning for the right thing! It’s time for godly sorrow! Mourn for your sin, repent, and kiss the son of God!

Repent, or you will likewise eternally perish, America! The Lord Jesus Christ is coming in flaming fire – The kingdom of heaven is indeed at hand!

On Thursday, August 28, 2014, Joan Rivers went into a coma, and was put on life support, after something went wrong during a minor medical procedure. One week later, on Thursday, September 4, she died, at the age of 81. The Sovereign God that breathed life into her nostrils – that God whom she proudly blasphemed with her every breath – required her soul at 1:17PM. At which time, by all objective evidence, Joan Rivers was summarily dispatched into hell, where she quickly discovered the melting point of plastic. Ever since that moment, this godless generation of perverts have been tripping over one another while they run to glorify this impudent, lewd, whorish woman, and call her blessed and holy. Shame! Joan is no longer deceived, and deceiving about the nature and power of God, and she wants only two things at this hour: water for her tongue, and truth for her friends and neighbors who are yet alive, and yet have time to repent.

Former Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum railed against the exclusion of conservative Christianity from education in an interview with American Family Association radio host Bryan Fischer on Tuesday, Right Wing Watch reported.

“I think we should start calling secularism a religion,” Santorum told a grinning Fischer. “Because if we did, then we could ban that, too, because that’s what they’ve done: they’ve hidden behind the fact that the absence of religion is not a religion of itself.”

The former Pennsylvania senator, who partnered with Fischer’s organization in the making of his newest “docudrama,” argued that secularism has “moral teachers” that should classify it as a religion.

“The idea that, if you take religion out of the public square, you take the Bible out of the classroom, that that’s neutral. Well no, that’s not neutral,” Santorum argued. “It’s a different worldview.”

According to Think Progress, Santorum has said that the film, One Generation Away, would attract protests from secularists, saying, “I’m a dog whistle to the left,” and calling it an opportunity to further his call to prioritize the Bible in school curriculums.

The increasing display of body piercings could well be a ploy of Satan. I say this because in Revelation 13 we read of the Mark of the Beast. The Greek word for 'Mark' is charagmah and means tattoo among other things.. Encouraging young people to have a tottoo is an excellent way to condition them to receive the mark of the beast without question.. The use of tattoos is widely used in cattle ID stamps which employ coloured visible and invisible inks. The tattoos have RFID capabilities, and an American Company called 'So-Mark' have developed this tattoo.Another huge problem with tattos is that some use inks with metalic properties, and if someone needed an MRI scan, the doctors would be forced to refuse life saving treatment, because the metal properties will cause great pain to anyone with one of these tattos. The Bible say that those who receive the mark of the beast will suffer great pains and sores. Could this be the reason why tattoos should be avoided? .. It's food for thought.

Or you might have thought so if you weren’t aware that Hugh Hefner is a very old man who has effectively handed his empire over to the women in his life. Sadly, this is common amongst men who have a weakness for women, which is probably most of us, hence the ancient inheritance laws designed to prevent women from making off with kingdoms.

Quote# 103378

I've already played games where that has been the case. I'm pretty anti- gay men, (if you want my thoughts on the subject of homosexuality some of the back messages are probably still around. The specifics have little to do with this discussion however) however) but that doesn't mean I get into some kind of frothing rage at the merest mention of gay men or whatever.
To be honest with most video games out there are set up, the only way the protaganist's sexual orientation is going to matter is if they go out of the way to bring it to the forefront. If this means that playing a game where the protaganist gets involved in numerous make out sessions with guys, or makes a big deal about being gay, is not going to appeal to me. After all that kind of thing is hardly a turn on for me, and since I don't like it, there is no real appeal to the situation, if they are going to put that much focus on it for the point of the game, my time would better be spent playing a game where this wasn't the case.
As far as games I've played with gay main characters or protaganists (that weren't me being a perv with a couple of girl characters) there have been a few. "Phantasmagoria II: A Puzzle Of The Flesh" involves an entire subplot about the character you control dealing with their homosexuality in their shrink's office. Then of course there is "Enchanted Arms" where the hero's main sidekick is a male homosexual with a crush on him. Then we have "Persona 4" where one of the party members being a gay man is actually the theme of a whole dungeon section. When it comes to antagonists, let's just say that if you have ever played a game about Conan that has featured characters from the books, a few of them were "boy lovers". Conan was before political correctness when it was written, and while it was never a focus, Conan has a major amount of contempt for gays and "boy lovers", and while never descriptive a number of his enemies were supposed to have been weakened by such "civilized decadence". Of course in the video games they rarely even go as far as the stories (both canon, and very old non-canon) did, which wasn't very far. Like most heroes a lot of his enemies "almost get him" in one way or another (a trap or spell, if not a straight fight) so you really can't call them impotent (so to speak) for their orientation irregardless of what Conan might think.
If you want to get technical, I think this entire "question" is a bit less profound than you might have intended. To be honest homosexuals have been fairly well represented as far as gaming goes, you just have to understand your dealing with a tiny percentage of the population. Fair representation does not mean "equal time with the majority" simply that a group is not totally neglected simply for being what it is. That's why I have such an issue with political correctness, and preferred Bioware's approach to romances in the first "Dragon Age" game to the "everyone is bi-sexual" approach of the second one. Granted you don't see much homosexuality in games in general, but that's pretty much in keeping with the number of homosexuals in society. Such things are there if you look for them, and have been for a long time.
That said, if you were doing a game like "Duke Nukem" but with the protaganist being an agressively flamboyant homosexual (of whatever style) instead of a manly flamboyant heterosexual, I don't think it would find much of an audience. Humor or not, it's meant to be slightly risque in it's own way, and someone without those tendencies wouldn't wind up appreciating the eye candy so to speak. I don't think there is enough of an audience to really sustain it.
That's a somewhat informed opinion as well, because it's been tried. They released those "Cho Aniki" games which are a series of tongue-in-cheek platformers featuring gay musclemen. We've actually seen ports of a couple of the titles to the US. From what I've heard the series has largely survived due to being relatively cheap to produce and a fan
base that is dedicated if not exactly numerous which does make it profitable. If it was tried on a fairly big-budget level like "Duke Nukem Forever" I don't think the audience would sustain it since there just wouldn't be enough gays with enough interest, and even if homosexuality doesn't offend someone they really aren't going to find a lot of gay innuendos aand cheesecake all that thrilling to want to dedicate hours upon hours expoising themselves to it, after dishing out a $60 price of admission.
Such are my thoughts. Due to being an admitted perv I'm intentionally staying away from the idea of lesbian characters because hey, like a lot of guys, I do find that fairly "hot" when presented the right way. Also I do believe that gays and lesbians are differant situations entirely, but that's not something I'm going to go into again. Again there are probably some back messages where I explain it (and the likely arguement would go nowhere) but simply put it has nothing to really do with it being "okay because it turns me on". The point being that I more or less agree with you excluding that aspect of the discussion. Especially seeing as I think that there are enough people out there like me in their "interests" irregardless of why that a hot lesbian heroine can find a niche among the male video gaming population and be sustained at a fairly high level, where I don't think gay men can be. You could probably do a Lesbian version of Duke Nukem and all the guys who bought Duke Nukem would also buy that game for largely the same reasons, and wind up appreciating the eye candy just as much. Whether it's fair or right or not is not something I'm going to argue, it just is, which is why (as I said) I agree with you there.

I Want Your Children

I have come to visit your children
And I’m pleased with what I see.
They abuse all kinds of drugs,
And are getting drunk with me.

They live as in Gomorrah or Sodom,
Their minds perverse and blown.
I will claim their souls anytime now,
You shouldn’t have left them alone.

I am glad you worked long hours,
I am glad you were busy a lot.
It would have been harder to sway them, if not.

At your schools I have been at work,
Making sex an acceptable game.
You slept while I fought to keep prayer out,
To add to your neglectful shame.

You don’t seem to notice the witchcraft;
I broadcast on your own TV,
"It’s just an innocent program,"
Twitch your nose as they follow me.

Add a couple violent sitcoms,
It’s funny to see heads blown in two.
Now your little Tommy has his own gun
And there’s nothing you can do.

They’re mine and you cannot reach them;
Their hearts are cold, hard, and black.
I’ve showed them how to party,
With pot, cocaine and crack.

You have been a tremendous help though;
I couldn’t have done it alone.
If you hadn’t forsaken your prayer life,
These seeds I could not have sown.

So stay away from the Bible’s teachings;
Don’t listen to what God has to say.
Your children are no longer your problem,
A price they’ll eternally pay.

Without Christ they are mine to devour.
Without God, nothing you can do.
Today I will take your children.
Tomorrow I will be coming for you.

Sincerely,
Satan

The male span of redeemable sexual attractiveness is, on average, 20 to 30 years longer than the female span of sexual attractiveness. This isn’t to claim that the typical 50-year-old man will arouse the typical 20-year-old woman. But it is accurate to say that that 50-year-old man has a lot more options for love than would his 50-year-old female peer. He can genuinely drive a younger woman to ecstasy, whereas a 25-year-old woman is already starting to sexually bore her man.

‘God’s Not Dead’ actor Kevin Sorbo laughingly tells Jews: ‘News bulletin: You did kill Jesus’

Making the rounds promoting the DVD release of his latest movie, God Is Not Dead, actor Kevin Sorbo ventured into touchy territory when he accused the Jews of killing Jesus Christ, reports Right Wing Watch.

In a phone interview with “Vocal Point” radio program host Jerry Newcombe, the former star of television’s Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, explained that the success of Mel Gibson’s 2004 film The Passion of the Christ, opened doors to other Christian-based films being made.

Initiating the coversation, Newcombe said, “I think Mel Gibson crashed a gate, in a very big way, 10 years ago.”

“Oh, he got attacked when he was shooting ‘The Passion’,” Sorbo agreed before continuing, “From the Jewish community, saying ‘look at the way you’re portraying us,’ I mean, I go, okay, news bulletin: you did kill Jesus.”

Sorbo then laughed, adding, “Come on!”

Quickly jumping in, Newcombe corrected Sorbo saying, “Well, they delivered him over to the Romans, right.”

“Exactly,” Sorbo agreed. “They did deliver him, so they had a hand in it. Um, and what did it do? A $30 million movie made $500 million, so Mel sort of had the last laugh there.”

Two radio hosts are worried that same-sex marriage will cause straight men to start cheating on their wives with other men.

Mat Staver and Matt Barber, of the Liberty Council, made the comments on the group’s ‘Faith and Freedom’ radio show.
The pair quoted research suggesting that gay men are more likely to have open relationships, and used it to suggest that it would ‘undercut’ fidelity in straight marriages too.

The pair claimed: “Same sex so-called marriage would undercut the norm of sexual fidelity within marriage. One of the biggest threats poses to marriage overall is that it would probably undercut the norm of sexual fidelity in marriage.

“We know this to be the case, a number of studies have shown that for same-sex homosexual males, monogamy isn’t part of the equation.

“We know that women serve to domesticate men.

“That’s not an opinion, that’s the social science that shows that women ultimately bring men into their role as father, as provider, and protector for the household and they domesticate men and that lends itself toward monogamy.”

Quote# 103359

The first thing to know about your penis is, that despite the way it may see, it is not your penis. Ultimately, God created you and it is his penis. You are simply borrowing it for a while.
While His penis is on loan you must admit that it is sort of just hanging out there very lonely as if it needed a home, sort of like a man wondering the streets looking for a house to live in. Knowing that His penis would need a home, God created a woman to be your wife and when you marry her and look down you will notice that your wife is shaped differently than you and makes a very nice home.

[...]

Therefore, if you are single you must remember that your penis is homeless and needs a home. But, though you may believe your hand is shaped like a home, it is not. And, though women other than your wife may look like a home, to rest there would be breaking into another man’s home. And, if you look at a man it is quite obvious that what a homeless man does not need is another man without a home.

[...]

Paul tells us that your penis actually belongs to your wife, and once you are married she will trade you it for her home (I Corinthians 7:4), and every man knows this is a very good trade for him to make.
With his penis, the man is supposed to learn to please his wife and learn how to be patient, self-controlled and be educated on how to keep his home happy and joyous (I Corinthians 7:3). The man should be aroused by his new home, and the wife should rejoice at seeing his penis rise to greet her (Song of Songs 5:14b).

I own 3 cats and 2 dogs. I love each one of them, each of them loves each other, and all of them love me. I do not get jealous if I see one of my dogs cuddling up to one of my cats. I do not get jealous if my dog wags its tail if approached and stroked by a stranger when I am out walking him.

When my pets are happy, I am happy, it is simple as that.

Best of all, I know that the love is genuinely unconditional, and not based upon the evolutionary urgings from my selfish genes within forcing me to replicate them through a particular chemically induced illusion called ‘love’.

I can’t think of a worse example to justify the selfish female paleolithic mating paradigm than the unconditional love for pets.

Social Darwinism is just Darwinism. Social Darwinism is just the rational assumption that mankind does not exist in a special bubble, cut off from forces we see at work every time we turn on National Geographic.

The common retort is that “social Darwinism” is merely a just-so story concocted post-hoc to explain away the effects of discrimination. There are haves and have-nots, power and oppression, and in my mind it is an obvious statement to say that such things are inevitable or “natural” given the dynamics of life on Earth. To others, however, by saying it I am erasing the real culprits, the real agents of inequality among humans: discrimination, privilege, and so on. Nothing natural about those. Combat them, and you will see equality flourish.

But this is a misunderstanding. Discrimination and privilege are absolutely a part of the natural order of things that we see at work on National Geographic.

Japanese macaques (snow monkeys) have a stark hierarchy of who does and who does not get to soak in the hot springs. There is a certain class privilege given to young macaques who are lucky enough to be born to dominant females. They get the warm waters of the hot springs; the others are quite literally left out in the cold.

Elk regularly face discrimination—the ones who are weak, elderly, retarded are the ones who will be eaten by the wolves, not the ones who are strong, young, able. Clearly, ageism and able-bodied privilege are at work on the arctic tundra, and the consequences are not psychological but a matter of life and death.

Rape-culture is rampant in nature. Just the other day, at the zoo, I saw a male lion humping a female lion despite her obvious displeasure and anger. Yet she was weaker and smaller than the male lion, and had nowhere to run.

Privilege, discrimination, rape-culture . . . the academic concepts of the Progressives are merely labels for behaviors that we see across the animal kingdom, and it is the existence of privilege, discrimination, and rape culture across the animal kingdom that completely undermines the utility of these concepts—they are supposed to name uniquely human (and therefore alterable) phenomena. But as spending five minutes in front of a wildlife documentary will demonstrate, they are not uniquely human phenomena. They exist in the non-human world. So the onus is on the progressives: what makes you think you can change the behavior of the human animal any more than you can stop dominant macaques from keeping the other macaques out of the hot springs?
