[Fundies are offering "advice" to another fundie who is thinking about shunning his brother because he has gay friends. Yup.]

SwordOfGeddo, you are not alone w/ your being torn & perplexed w/ this issue; in fact, I personally think it's the most sinister & divisive deception b/c it's cloaked in love, acceptance, etc. & the immediate 'fruits' from it are not known until a considerable passage of time.

Quick example: I was on FB a few days ago, & discovered a woman I graduated HS w/ was now married to a woman a few years older than us & they had a little daughter! The family she came from was a well-liked family from a 'good' neighborhood & she was an 'All-American girl'; I NEVER would have expected this, yet, here she is, extolling Obama for 'supporting her 'family' ' & people I went to HS w/ gooing & ga-ga-ing over her beautiful 'wife' & 'precious' daughter. If the Lord stays His Hand & we're here another 5 to 10 years, the daughter will in all probability support, defend, & promote her mothers' 'marriage' & lifestyle & in all likelihood never get a chance to truly know Christ, etc.

Brother has gay friends..should I disown him?
I'm always uncomfortable around him now. I think people are too permissive these days and believe that loving someone is the answer when it never helps and is a lukewarm approach. In the old days people would disown family that brought shame to them and their house.

I feel this would be the correct coarse of action...tell me I'm wrong.

I'm so tired of hearing about the gay thing and to see it in my own life..makes me sick..literally. I love my brother...but I hate this world. I feel just going with the flow and ignoring it would be like surrendering and that to me is unacceptable.

But the alternative is a I never see him again...and that is also unacceptable.

Walt Disney and a handful of those who worked closely to him and shared his vision , were all perverted homosexual Satanists, who were into I assume a host of evil behaviours, pedophelia, sacrificing, slaves, and so on... think bout it, wouldn't be hard to get away with being that rich and powerful. The reason much of that movie was bullshit is because all the producers and the ones at top positions are evil bullshit-filled men with great influence and riches, who have an agenda for every movie they make; this time is burnish the realistically disgusting Walt Disney. Why do they do this? Money and power, to live that life of royalty, (that most of the time they were born into), you even witnessed in saying how over the top you were being treated. Narcissists. Imagine their home lives, and all the under aged sex slaves in their mansion basements. Then the same talented sickos are making the stories and concepts for the films, they are very settle manipulative people. Even the most of the actual people writing most of the movie and doing the art wouldn't have a real clue, they're just taking orders from the top most of the time. It's those few individuals who are at the top of this Occult society who implant thse things. sorry for the blunt sketchy possible truths.. but it's all pretty likely, go find the info yourself on Disney subliminals and look deeper into their concepts, you'll find a sinful nature every time that is corrupting to youth in an indirect way.. Walt Disney was one of the top Free Masons, possibly THE TOP for the world of media. hell.. even in the logo of Disney has 666 hidden. ?

At a Sportsmen's Ministry talk in 2009, Robertson had some advice for a young man. "Make sure that she can cook a meal, you need to eat some meals that she cooks, check that out," he said. "Make sure she carries her Bible. That'll save you a lot of trouble down the road. And if she picks your ducks, now, that's a woman." "They got to where they're getting hard to find," Robertson remarked. "Mainly because these boys are waiting until they get to be about 20 years old before they marry 'em. Look, you wait until they get to be 20 years old, the only picking that's going to take place is your pocket." The Duck Commander company founder added: "You got to marry these girls when they are about 15 or 16, they'll pick your ducks. You need to check with mom and dad about that of course."

Quote# 98680

Two groups of people need to read this: Liberals and Christians. If you're neither of those, you can happily keep scrolling. But if you are a member of either group, we need to get something straight. It really is amazing how much trouble you can get into for....quoting the Bible. You're surely tired of hearing about Mr. Duck Commander, so I'll make this quick. Since the controversy erupted over the GQ article, liberal websites having been digging around for more instances of Phil Robertson saying what the Bible says about homosexuality.

In contrast to Louie Giglio, they didn't have to go back 17 years to find what they were looking for. The Raw Story was able to find this clip of Phil preaching, and it was upsetting to many of the rainbow types. The quote [Business Insider writer Josh Barro] is really mad about?

"full of murder, envy, strife, hatred. They are insolent, arrogant, God-haters. They are heartless, they are faithless, they are senseless, they are ruthless."

...is a paraphrase of Romans 1. Here's Romans 1:

"They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless."

For clarity, the verse isn't talking only about homsexuals (though they are included), and Phil wasn't either. I'm going to keep saying this until the liberals get it: you hate the Bible. The Bible is what you hate. It's not particular Christians who are especially "hateful." It's every Christian who takes the Bible seriously. Phil Robertson takes the Bible seriously, which is why liberals get so mad at him.

I said I was going to make this quick, so I'll wrap it up: to be a Christian, you are going to have to make a decision. If America was ever a Christian nation, it is no longer, so you must count the cost. You're going to have to decide if you want these verses to summarize your life:

Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” (Matthew 5)

For the time that is past suffices for doing what the Gentiles want to do, living in sensuality, passions, drunkenness, orgies, drinking parties, and lawless idolatry. With respect to this they are surprised when you do not join them in the same flood of debauchery, and they malign you. (1 Peter 4)

Count the cost. Living for Christ in a culture that hates God? It's going to require sacrifice. But I hope and pray that you will see that it's worth it. If those verses above don't summarize your life, this verse will:

For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed when he comes in his glory and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.

And I as a parent would not trust human nature for a moment to be able to restrain itself from camping adventures in the land of Sodom.
It was enough of a challenge dealing with bullying and girlfriend issues.

Youth protection just became impossible as reconciling gay liberty with sexual restraint will invariably lead to discrimination or offense against someone.
But Christians just have to get used to it.

Not anymore! I felt no guilt whatsoever in saying "no thanks" to them the last time they were outside WM and asked if I'd like to support the BSA.[shaking head smiley]Obviously the BSA hasn't taken a hit in the wallet otherwise this nonsense might have turned out differently. However, I will not be supporting them as long as they allow sodomites to be a part of their organization.

Pharaoh and his Army,Pharaoh was worried that the Hebrews were becoming too numerous and strong for him and his army to control and that if this continued to happen that eventually, they would join with other enemies of Egypt and challenge Pharaoh's army. To prevent this, he forced the Hebrews into labor hoping that it would break their spirit and make them easier to control/deal with. When this didn't work and their population continued to grow and thrive, he sought to prevent a future revolt by having the midwives kill all the baby boys born to Hebrew women. This also did not work because many of the Hebrew women delivered on their own without the help of a midwife. So to ensure that all the baby boys would be killed anyway, the Pharaoh ordered that they all be thrown into the river.

Approximately 2,750,000 male Hebrew babies were murdered over the 80 years of slavery.

In the story a mob surrounds a woman to stone her for adultery, and ask Jesus what they should do. Jesus is describing as writing in the ground, and eventually beseeches those who have not sinned to cast the first stone. The crowd then disperses, beginning with the eldest first. This apocryphal passage is a favorite of liberals who oppose those who stand up for Christian values, as when the left-leaning Bill O'Reilly cited this passage to criticize the star of Duck Dynasty for standing up against homosexual conduct.

A little girl wrote to Sarah Palin and asked;
‘How did the human race start?’
Sarah Palin answered, ‘God made Adam and Eve;
They had children; and so was all mankind made.’
Two days later the girl wrote to Michelle Obama
and asked the same question.
Michelle Obama answered,
‘Many years ago there were monkeys from
which the human race evolved.’
The confused girl went to her father and said,
‘Dad, how is it possible that Sarah Palin told me
the Human race was created by God,
And Michelle Obama said they evolved from monkeys.’
The father answered, ‘Well, Dear, it is very simple,
Sarah Palin told you about her ancestors
and Michelle Obama told you about hers.’

(LGBT thread. Emphasis mine)

And I was going to shut up, too.

My grandfather may have started it, but noone can say we didn't fuel the fire. Everything he said we ate up like a starving wolf eats a steak, and his whole "brotherhood" speech really got us going. I grew up with a family full of this, and apparently most of the children in my school when I was a boy did too.

I am intolerant, I will never deny it, but I am proud. I am proud of who I am, I was taught to be proud of my race and what we could be, and I was taught that it is just wrong for the same sex to perform sexual actions with the same gender. Maybe if someone had managed to make me believe it was acceptable way back when, but honestly at this point this is what I believe. I also would like to add that the whole "I can stand you because I cant see you" holds true for MANY people on here, most of these not even involving LGBT.

I tried going on that Pope Liri's thread of fabulous or whatever, but I was just awkwardly trying to fit in the entire time. I eventually made a joke I thought everyone would laugh about, but obviously it was just another chance for the mods to pin the tail on the neo Nazi like I know they enjoy.

My opinion? Honest and for true?

I have, in all my time, never liked LGBT rights and the whatnot. We have a family friend who is a lesbian, when I was 16 my mother brought one of her gay friends home and I was VERY afraid he was hitting on me, and throughout my life there has been one pervasive thought:
This. Is. Wrong.

My story:
My grandfather, his name will obviously not be disclosed, fought on the loosing sight of WWII with his brother who got the short end of the stick and was sent to the Eastern front. Now your probably wondering why the holy hell this matters, and I shall tell you. While there he was killed and, upon receiving the news, my great grandmother died. Now my grandfather, who was apparently very nice before that, was just enraged. Blame blame and more blame was pretty much the story, and he turned from a normal Wehrmacht soldier to a very angry Nazi.

When the war ended he stayed in Germany until 1973(West) when he moved to Indiana with his wife where my uncle was born then later my father, both of them pretty much given the same ideals as my grandfather. If your starting to see a chain reaction here good on you, because it's not going to be changing much. When I was very young I was in the Vernon town park and I saw two guys kissing and upon witnessing it my comment to my father on the topic was so OUTRAGEOUS I got sent to my grandparents house for a bit of education.

So, if you bothered reading the story, here is the outcome.

I don't like LGBT people that much, and I can stand talking to you on the internet because we are not face to face. It's wrong, I have been educated to believe it is wrong, and I will never accept it.

Quote# 98655

When are we going to stop pretending that the individual representing himself as Barack Hussein Obama and currently holding the office of president of the United States is anything other than a foreign-backed, Marxist operative and Islamist whose objectives include the effective destruction of America as we know it?

As I advised my streaming show audience this week, I – or anyone else, for that matter – could crack the façade concerning our president’s motives in seconds on any one of the national television news shows on which I’ve appeared by asking one simple question:

“Why is it that everything – everything – Obama has done has had a detrimental effect on America?” Enumerating them and clarifying said motives would, of course, be child’s play.

Nobody is that stupid, save for those shuffling around in institutions or under lock and key in the care of loved ones. Nor do I believe anyone is as incompetent or unlucky as one would have to be to have consistently botched everything from America’s economy to national security. In light of the developments of the last few months, the evidence of Barack Obama’s sabotage and treason has not only become agonizingly clear, but it convicts both those in the press who still consider themselves journalists, as well as anyone who has taken an oath to uphold our Constitution.

The elephant in the room – which even conservative pundits seem to be skirting – is that it has all been done deliberately.

Last week, congressional Reps. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn, Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, and Steve King, R-Iowa, carried out a “secret” trip to the Middle East. As reported by the Washington Post and the Washington Times, the three took commercial flights, thus placing themselves in harm’s way, while visiting Beirut, Cairo and Tripoli, and conducting closed-door meetings with top-level officials in these places.

The actions of Obama toward arming rebels fighting the Assad regime in Syria (many of these being al-Qaida and other Islamist affiliates) were plainly treasonable offenses. The ongoing investigation into the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi indicates that the administration’s deportment was rife with criminality. Overall, the blatantly unconstitutional and potentially criminal actions of this president, both domestically and on the international stage, are legion.

Two weeks ago, the Turkish press reported that Naglaa Mahmoud, wife of Egypt’s ousted President Mohamed Morsi, stated in an interview that Bill and Hillary Clinton had been involved with the Muslim Brotherhood since the 1980s. Mahmoud has been tied to operations dedicated to returning her husband to power, according to the Egyptian government. As the reader may be aware, Hillary Clinton’s deputy chief of staff when she was secretary of state was Huma Abedin (wife of disgraced Rep. Anthony Weiner). Her family members are heavy hitters in the Muslim Brotherhood.

Following this, there have been unconfirmed reports that the Egyptian government has named Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton in criminal complaints, claiming that they conspired with the Muslim Brotherhood to overthrow the interim government and return Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood to power.

Is the fact that the president of the United States and his former secretary of state are being indicted as international criminals not newsworthy? In my view, even rumors of such a thing are newsworthy, inasmuch as it gives an indicator of America’s international standing. Yet, as of this writing, the president is on vacation in Hawaii, pretending to be a garden-variety liberal Democrat, while even elements of the conservative press contribute to perpetuating the charade.

[Post written by Annie-Xmas]

My Jehovah's Witnesses story turned me off them forever:

My sister the lesbian has one biological daughter, who is a devout JW. My sister and her partner were in a terrible car crash in California and she needed a blood transfusion. Her partner didn't have the authority to approve it. Her daughter, the devout JW, runs to the hospital and denies permission. The hospital calls me, faxes me the papers in New Jersey, I sign them and fax them back, and the transfusion is approved.

I am a raving maniac over the whole thing, very worried about my sister. Fifteen minutes later two JW's come into my office and start lecturing me about how I doomed my sister the lesiban with a blood transfusion.

I gave it to them with both barrels. I told them if they ever came into my place of business with their shitty religion again, I would call the cops and file a lawsuit. I told them I was not a believer of any religion that would let people die rather than receiving medical treatment. I told them my sister was a devout lesbian and wasn't going to convert.

They told me they hoped my sister got hepatitus from the transfusion and left.

Your wife is very wrong to withhold sex from you. It sounds like you are compatible in every other area and - correct me if I am wrong - you used to be compatible sexually. She may be in a vicious downward spiral due to not receiving the benefit of semen exposure, which would increase her sex drive and decrease her feelings of malaise.

What if you said to her that you needed to have sex with her (and with no artificial contraception - just NFP if necessary) and that she didn't have to enjoy it but she had to submit to it? Would she go along with it out of a sense of duty? I know this is wildly unattractive to men, but sometimes we have to do things for our spouse's benefit, you know? If she started regularly having sex and getting that cocktail of hormones, it is possible - not guaranteed but possible - that this could help.

Of course, she might not consent to this and because marital rape (itself a logical fallacy) is illegal, you cannot do anything about that. Now I personally believe that marital "rape" laws should be repealed for just this reason - sometimes women need what they (think they) do not want. Marital "rape" (which is not really a thing, even if the law says it is) is actually for the benefit of women, not for the lust of men (I am speaking of normal marriages and normal men here, not that very small percentage of men who truly are evil). This is my personal opinion and IS NOT ADVICE. No one reading here should "rape" their wife - that is illegal and will land you in jail, even if you are doing it for her benefit.]

12. DINOSAURS

Evolutionists insist that dinosaurs died out millions of years before man appeared. However, there are many reasons to disbelieve this. There are the stories of animals much like dinosaurs in the legends of many lands. These creatures were called dragons.

Many times in the recent past, explorers have recorded sightings of flying reptiles much like the pterodactyl. Human footprints were found along with those of a dinosaur in limestone near the Paluxy River in Texas.

Also not to be tossed aside is the possibility of dinosaurs living today. Consider the stories such as the Loch Ness monster (of which many convincing photographs have been taken). Some have claimed to see dinosaur-like creatures in isolated areas of the world.

Recently, a Japanese fishing boat pulled up a carcass of a huge animal that intensely resembled a dinosaur. A group of scientists on an expedition into a jungle looking for dinosaur evidence claims that they witnessed one, but their camera was damaged.

However, they tape recorded the roar of the beast. This recording was checked. The voice patterns on it did not resemble those of any other roaring. You decide. At any rate, the evidence that man and dinosaur did live together at one time poses another problem for the evolutionists.

9. PUNCTUATED EQUILIBRIA

Seeing the problem of gradual evolution with the fossil record, and the obvious abrupt appearances of species, Drs. Stephen Jay Gould and Niles Eldredge have formed the theory of punctuated equilibria. Punctuated equilibria, is, by example, a bird giving birth to a mammal, thus leaving no transitional fossils in the geological record.

Many top evolutionists disagree with this position. And punctuated equilibria has its problems, too. For instance, in the above case, of a bird bearing a mammal, another mammal of the same kind of the opposite sex must be born at the same approximate time in the same area in order for the new species to continue. The odds of just one organism appearing this way, let alone two fulfilling the circumstances above, are astronomical.

I have no idea whether this will work, but there’s always the chance that it will backfire, as women could come to view them as contemptuous beta males. If history – recent and distant – is any indication, female voters prefer men to be alphas. Political leaders who were particularly popular with women include Idi Amin, Adolf Hitler, Chairman Mao, Josef Stalin, Kim il-Sung, Fidel Castro and Genghis Khan, as well as other less notorious tyrants. I can’t imagine any of these men, who were so passionately coveted by their countrywomen, would don an apron and talk about baking cookies. In fact, it would appear from the record that the best route into the hearts of one’s female subjects/constituents is to be a totalitarian mass murderer.
