Students and teachers at an Iowa high school say they were blindsided when a traveling band slammed them with anti-gay, anti-abortion and other extremist views during what was billed as an assembly about bullying.

"They told my daughter, the girls, that they were going to have mud on their wedding dresses if they weren't virgins," Jennifer Littlefield, a mother of a Dunkerton High School junior, told the Lacrosse Tribune.

The band, Junkyard Prophet, began the assembly late last week with music, then separated the boys and girls into different groups.

That, according to the newspaper, is where everything went off the rails.

The girls were told to assume a submissive role in their household and remain "pure" until marriage, students said. The boys said they were shown images of musicians who died of drug overdoses.

Junkyard Prophet bandmembers also told them that homosexuals died at the age of 42, the students claimed.

The band told the WCF Courier they want to host another gathering to restore their tarnished reputation, but didn’t deny the students’ claims.

A colleague of the band, Jake McMillian, confirmed the group showed the high schoolers pictures of aborted fetuses and did not back off the anti-homoxuality claims.

"It's a destructive lifestyle," he argued, according to the Courier. "It's just the facts."

The band tried to rent space for the event, but no one in the small town was willing to host them. They eventually held a "community conversation" at a local church, which was protested by nearly two dozen people.

According to the Tribune, the school district is working to get back the $1,500 and $2,000 fee they paid Junkyard Prophet for the school event.

I can't believe The Courant would dignify such an award by such a group and to such a person with a piece on its pages. The R.I. judge's ruling in this case and the subsequent headlines fly in the face of all that is decent and moral about the United States and its Constitution.

Furthermore, I'd like to think that, as the author of the moral and upstanding school prayer in question, I'd be entitled to ten or a hundred times as much money as Jessica has been awarded for having torn it down and repudiated decency and morality in our schools. Where are my donors?

In Romans 3:4 God declares: "Let God be true but every man a liar." Events within the last year have proven that no man can be fully trusted. Even the most sincere and zealous of us can be mistaken.

The May 21 campaign was an astounding event if you think about its impact upon this world. There is no question that millions, if not billions of people heard for the first time the Bible’s warning that Jesus Christ will return. Huge portions of this world that had never read or seen a Bible heard the message the Christ Jesus is coming to rapture His people and destroy this natural world.

Yes, we humbly acknowledge we were wrong about the timing; yet though we were wrong God is still using the May 21 warning in a very mighty way. In the months following May 21 the Bible has, in some ways, come out from under the shadows and is now being discussed by all kinds of people who never before paid any attention to the Bible. We learn about this, for example, by the recent National Geographic articles concerning the King James Bible and the apostles. Reading about and even discussing about the Bible can never be a bad thing, even if the Bible’s authenticity is questioned or ridiculed. The world’s attention has been called to the Bible.

We must also openly acknowledge that we have no new evidence pointing to another date for the end of the world. Though many dates are circulating, Family Radio has no interest in even considering another date. God has humbled us through the events of May 21, to continue to even more fervently search the Scriptures (the Bible), not to find dates, but to be more faithful in our understanding.

We have learned the very painful lesson that all of creation is in God’s hands and He will end time in His time, not ours! We humbly recognize that God may not tell His people the date when Christ will return, any more than He tells anyone the date they will die physically.

We realize that many people are hoping they will know the date of Christ’s return. In fact for a time Family Radio fell into that kind of thinking. But we now realize that those people who were calling our attention to the Bible’s statement that "of that day and hour knoweth no man" (Matthew 24:36 & Mark 13:32), were right in their understanding of those verses and Family Radio was wrong. Whether God will ever give us any indication of the date of His return is hidden in God’s divine plan.

We were even so bold as to insist that the Bible guaranteed that Christ would return on May 21 and that the true believers would be raptured. Yet this incorrect and sinful statement allowed God to get the attention of a great many people who otherwise would not have paid attention. Even as God used sinful Balaam to accomplish His purposes, so He used our sin to accomplish His purpose of making the whole world acquainted with the Bible. However, even so, that does not excuse us. We tremble before God as we humbly ask Him for forgiveness for making that sinful statement. We are so thankful that God is so loving that He will forgive even this sin.

So we must be satisfied to humbly wait upon God, and trust He will guide His people to safety. At Family Radio, we continue to look to God for guidance. If it is His good pleasure for us to continue on with our original mission, the proclamation of the Gospel, God’s Word, then we must continue to look to Him.

They aren’t even able to care for their babies at home now with taxes and divorce rates and single parenting becoming the norm.

Women have stated in all women magazines how miserable they are-—and this is AFTER they got the vote. They write about how to be a sex slave in bed-——they are slaves to the lust of men (and women) and NOT oppressed anymore, huh-—when STD’s and abortions are the norm and they mutilate their bodies to get men’s attention for more than 10 minutes and fill their bodies with birth control pills-—toxins causing cancers, etc.

What is important in life was God—and with Him there was great happiness and fulfillment and love of children and family which gave women great happiness-—always did—even without the now worthless vote.

Giving the vote to women was stupid-—it got us Zero. I know way too many stupid women who never read anything but romance novels and would vote for Zero any time. They are useful idiots when it comes to voting for whatever the headlines in the newspapers want them to do. Men have always been much more responsible voters—especially if they were land owners. In fact, it proves that my theory of reverse gravity is more likely due to the almost uniform distribution of the radiation.

Nucleosynthesis? It only lasted for seventeen minutes? Ok, who timed that, and what kind of watch did they use?

No wonder our kids are anxious, stressed out and feel they have nothing to believe in sometimes, they are being told what they can see themselves is foolishness and being told to swallow these lies and stay quiet if you don’t agree.

This nonsense is already being taught in some schools and in those states where same-sex marriage is legal it has exploded. Many schools now routinely shut off all debate about homosexuality, there is only one viewpoint and it is pro-homosexual. The deception that results is a dark cloud hanging over our educational environment and our culture and it harms these precious, developing minds and hearts the most.
