Much discussion has flooded the internet over whether or not the United States is a Christian Nation. Most, who do not believe it is, argue that the neither the Constitution nor the founding documents specifically declare, “We the people are forming a Christian Nation.” Obviously, our founders were not so straight-forward and likely left out such a statement because it was unnecessary. For Thomas Jefferson or Benjamin Franklin to declare “America is hereby a Christian Nation,” would be like saying, “shoes, from this day forward, are to be worn on the feet.”

Ask an atheist if he or she believes in the existence of aliens? If they answer, "no," then ask them how do they know that? Have they gone to all the other galaxies throughout the universe? The truth is that no atheist can reasonably deny the existence of alien life. To do so would be utter ignorance. If an atheist answers, "yes," then they have contradicted their claim that there is no God. Is not God an Alien? By every definition of the word, God is an alien, i.e., He is not of this earth. For an atheist to profess believe is alien life, while simultaneously denying the existence of God, is utter hypocrisy and foolishness.

The fact of the matter is, atheists don't build hospitals. If one atheist, out of a million, builds one hospital somewhere, well, it's not atheism doing that, it's that one odd man out. Christians build hospitals as a matter of course. I can name a dozen hospitals that are within ten miles of me. Know what their names are? St. Judes, St. Marys, St. Lukes, St. Francis... are you seeing a pattern here? I don't know any St. Darwin's hospitals near me.

Fun fact: St. Judes in nearby Oakland was built by a convert, who said one day turned to God and said to St. Jude, "Show me the way and I will build a hospital." Difficult to imagine a christian saying, "If I find God didn't exist and the world was a vast meaningless clockwork, I'll build a children's hospital."

I will not support gay marriage. You can't choose who gets equal rights and who doesnt. Gay marriage is illegal, so is marriage between family members, marriage with a consenting minor and a number of other groups.

EDIT: In other words... all couples should be allowed to marry or none.

yeah, except that our revolutionary war heroes didn't make a pact with the devil, they believed in God. Lets also not forget the tsunami that hit in 2004---when people were out celebrating along the shore while all the christians were in church at higher elevations. Coincidence?? I think it's great that pat has the guts to speak out against all these new age IDIOTS who think THEY really have the truth and christians don't!!

"On average, same-sex couples and heterosexual couples are indistinguishable"

Except for the higher rate of documented "domestic" violence between gay couples, and the higher documented rate of suicide in gay relationships, and the higher rate of STDs amongst gays, and the fact that EVERY "gay" family can not be sustained unless the recruit offspring, where as the norm, hetro families will be sustained through the natural pro-creation and according to the great plan.

Yeah, I'd say they are almost exactly the same, except for all that other stuff that makes them completely different.

Keep in mind, roman homosexuals were allowed to openly buy, sell, and trade young boys for personal deviance. Very little has changed as our civilized world heads down the same old road once again. I am also reminded that people once married siblings, another source of degenerative behavior that is fallen by the wayside as homophiles now dominate the contemporary trend in sexual deviance. It is all about the marketing, thanks largely to hollywood promoting the brilliant and maligned queer in every episode designed to paint the false picture of a lifestyle rife with infectious disease often spread in filthy public restrooms where queers “hookup” and exchange fecal material by various methods.

While I believe in lifeforms "adapting" to their environment, that is not the same thing as evolution. Evolution is changing from one species into another entirely different species. Some Christians speak of "micro evolution", but that to me is just compromising the truth. Evolution is a LIE of the devil. Nothing evolves. It might adapt or bring a new species to life by two compatible but slightly different species mating. I've seen that before, where a cat mated with a rabbit. The offspring looked really strange, with attributes of both parents--the head and back legs of the rabbit and the body of the cat. Who would have thought that cats and rabbits were compatible?

Since the 1860s and the advent of the scientific cult of Darwinian evolution (so essential to the Liberal-Muslim Axis), the Judeo-Christian traditions found in Natural Law philosophy have been meticulously removed from the rule of law. Under perverse notions of fairness, equality, egalitarianism (which is an equality of results), President Obama and his homeland security secretary, Janet Napolitano, as well as their equivalents across the world, force law-abiding citizens to undergo increasingly invasive procedures to board a plane. Every time a Muslim attempts or commits a terrorist attack on an airplane the Liberal-Muslim Axis therefore places more laws on our backs.

Only courageous patriots can ultimately defeat this diabolical Liberal-Muslim Axis. Let us start this New Year with this strategy as our aspiration. Let all red-blooded Americans endeavor to make the Democratic Party into the Whig Party of the 21st century and begin to terrify the terrorists before they lift a hand against our wonderful country.

Happy New Year!

[Regarding the movie 'Avatar']

Just as many movies in the last 20 years have been conditioning people to accept the supernatural and extra terrestrials,
Sort of getting people ready for the miracles and supernatural wonders
of the false prophet and beast and the Antichrist.

I think this is going to be the beginning of the conditioning to get people ready to accept reptilians and human hybrids.
Or Nephilim if you will.
Because they are coming soon.(As it was in the days of Noah)

Im dead serious.
I think Holliwood is playing a major role in getting people ready to accept all
kinds of weird end time stuff.

I don't think it will get challenged...at all

The times are getting darker faster. and it is only going to get worse. I heard a preacher the last couple of days saying if we all would turn from our sins and repent then God would turn his coming wrath from us, I don't believe that they entire world would turn from this great SIN that they are commiting and just stop, and say I am sorry, and except Christ, I truly believe that we have gone beyond that point, with God.... abortion alone is so sickening, then you add homesexuality and all of the other religions and false God's in the mix, and well and then we have the soon to come trib. I wish all would turn, and recieve his loving grace.

There’s a great deal of ridicule being aimed at Pat Robertson for describing the catastrophic earthquake in Haiti as God’s retribution on the country for a deal with the Devil supposedly made by the leaders of the 1791 slave revolt in which they threw off French control. And Robertson is a foaming loon, to be sure…but when I dug for the source of the legend I found a curiously plausible account:

(links to http://www.americandaily.com/article/95)

It is a matter of well-documented historical fact that the nation of Haiti was dedicated to Satan 200 years ago. On August 14, 1791, a group of houngans (voodoo priests), led by a former slave houngan named Boukman, made a pact with the Devil at a place called Bois-Caiman. All present vowed to exterminate all of the white Frenchmen on the island. They sacrificed a black pig in a voodoo ritual at which hundreds of slaves drank the pig’s blood. In this ritual, Boukman asked Satan for his help in liberating Haiti from the French. In exchange, the voodoo priests offered to give the country to Satan for 200 years and swore to serve him. On January 1, 1804, the nation of Haiti was born and thus began a new demonic tyranny.

There are, according to the Constitution, classes of individuals that, because of thier inclusion in a group, are protected by our laws from discrimination....those include...Race....Sex....National Origin...Religion...and so on.

Please tell me where gays are included in those that are allowed special protection? In other words.....why is a federal court even hearing this as it is NOT a violation of the constitution and, therefore, cannot be unconstitutional?

Another class of people that have yelled long and hard and we the voters have said "Oh what can we do to make it right please?......time to stop that, take back control and take back our laws.....IMHO

Marriage is a union between a man and a woman, homosexual shacking up is domestic unions or whatever name they’re using this week. There is no ‘gay marriage’ as it is contrary to the standard definition.

I see no reason to change from the choice of dictionary writers for centuries, nor the basic laws of every state marriage legislation, and the only reason why this case is in federal court was because the people of California, when their judges refused to follow the people’s wishes, reiterated a basic dictionary definition into the state constitution, since apparently homosexual shacking up advocates couldn’t bother to read the dictionary.

In no way is this an issue of freedom, nor is this an issue of conservative values - in no way are traditional families helped by homosexual shacking up becoming equal, in the eyes of the law, to marriage. In fact, it’s already had the opposite effect, where a birth mother is ordered to give up her daughter to a former shackee, simply for refusing to let that former shackee near her daughter.

I’m not sure why this is so hard to understand. Every gay in America can go out and get married tomorrow, no one is stopping them. Just bring a partner of an opposite sex. How hard is that to understand?

But these relentless iconoclasts will never, ever, ever, ever, ever let this go. Well, NOTE TO GAY ICONOCLASTS: neither will we...or to quote every leftist that voted for Obama "We won, you lost, get over it."
