Two leading voices of the Republican Party's evangelical wing visited Rock Church on Friday for a forum aimed at recapturing some of the movement's political momentum.

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich and former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee urged Christians to get involved in politics to preserve the presence of religion in American life.

“I think this is one of the most critical moments in American history,” Gingrich said. “We are living in a period where we are surrounded by paganism.”

I just spoke with somebody the other day who touched a dead body when he was a child, and at that moment something very evil and scary entered him, and he was never the same since. I believe it was that night when he was sleeping, he awoke to see red velvet walls around him, as if he was inside a casket. Today I just spoke with another person who experienced something similar after touching a dead body... she started having horrible nightmares about the person who had died.

Grave yards and funeral homes are often crawling with demons. I know of somebody who lived in funeral home and could testify to the haunting they experienced there... doors slamming at night, strange noises, etc. How does this happen? When a person dies, the demons that have been inhabiting them are left hanging onto the body, and can remain around that body for years before they find a new home.

I remember one person telling how they had nothing but problems in their new home... it was as if the place was cursed! Come to find out, their property was an old Indian graveyard and the land was defiled and haunted by demons.

I was completely convicted at Sunday School class this past week. It was on loving our enemies. Stuff like the evil against our Lord makes my blood boil but I was reminded that one of Christianity's supreme advantages above all other religions is we are the only ones who love our enemies.

While President Obama was in Cairo preaching Islamist propaganda to the ears of Muslim students this last week, his administration was carrying out an even more sinister agenda. While he was willfully misleading the television audience as to the "tolerance" that Islam allows, he quietly nominated a man who teaches students to hate parents. While President Obama seemingly praised the earliest traces of recognition of Sharia law on U.S. soil (women being subjugated into wearing hajibs even in America), he stealthily put forward a nominee who refused to report a sexual relationship where a man was molesting a school age boy, even though the law required him to do so.

To call Obama's plan this last week to nominate Kevin Jennings to the Department of Education dishonest, while he himself was spreading factually incorrect information himself to an Islamist audience and the enemies concealed therein some sort of deception times two, would be like calling the pacific ocean a puddle, NBC's Brian Williams a kiss up, or the new national 9.4% unemployment a hiccup...

More seriously, is chemical castration an option for LDS gays? I mean, if you're faithful LDS & accept that for whatever reason the Lord has put you on Earth as a "eunuch" (best case, if you can stay strong), why should you have to struggle with incessant thoughts that are not just inappropriate now, but will be inappropriate in the next life, too, only serve to pervert any desires to have children in a celestial relationship in the next life. There is zero point to having homosexual thoughts, it's not as though they're a normal part of the procreation process - they're just an annoying, perverted form of biology, entirely worthless.

At his urging, the Kleberg County commissioners on Monday unanimously designated "heaven-o" as the county's official greeting. The reason: "hello" contains the word "hell."

"When you go to school and church, they tell you 'hell' is negative and 'heaven' is positive,'" said the 56-year-old Canales, who owns the Kingsville Flea Market. "I think it's time that we set a new precedent, to tell our kids that we are positive adults."

Here is the Truth:

We don't torture at Gitmo. Water boarding works or it would not be done. In fact, only three prisoners have endured water boarding. And Obama reserves the right to water board them again.

Water Boarding is NOT torture. A conservative talk show host, Man Cow subjected himself to 7 seconds worth, and he declared it torture. It was not. Man Cow was immediately able to continue talking. What he experienced was extreme discomfort, but he did not suffer lasting pain, nor did he require medical aid afterwards.

Discomfort like this is called aggressive interrogation. Its not pleasant, but neither is it torture. Man Cow endured 7 seconds. The 3 terrorists endured 14 seconds. And they talked afterwards which is why we used this. 14 seconds of discomfort is NOT torture.

Torture has been redefined by the left.

Obama has been surrounding himself with muslims and muslim symphathizers on his staff. They have discussed how Sharia law could be implemented in regards to the constitution. It'll end up happening. That is what they want. Sharia law is even being touted as the solution to the economic crisis.

Muslim attacks may increase over the years, especially with their leader advocating jihad in his speeches. Nothing can be done about it. Just be sure to stockpile weapons for self-defense. If you're a woman and a gang of muslims get ahold of you, you'll wish you were dead. Gang rapes are never pleasant. That is part of their culture. They like to torture women.

A former police officer who claimed he was a "Black Magic" high priest has been convicted of sexually abusing three children in East Dunbartonshire.

John McFadden, 42, from Bearsden, was found guilty of abusing a boy between 1988 and 1992 in Kirkintilloch.

(continues...)

The court heard how McFadden told one of his victims, a 12-year-old boy, that demons and spirits would kill him and drag him to hell unless he carried out sex acts.

He dressed in a black cloak and used a crucifix with a skull and crossbones and an onyx ring, which he claimed gave him power, to terrify the youngster into keeping the abuse a secret.

The federal government seems determined to spend money on scientific research, and the general public seems to approve of every such project, without regard to the limitations of government set forth in the Constitution, or the lack of an end product. This is partly due to apathy and a lack of cognitive thinking skills on the part of the average taxpayer. Some of the blame also goes to TV "journalists" who report everything the government does without ever questioning the wisdom or the cost.

The most famous multi-billion-dollar government research projects include the Superconducting Super Collider (partially completed, then abandoned, near Waxahachie, Texas), and the Hubble Space Telescope. If you ask a government official about the purpose of these (or any of several other) multi-billion dollar projects, the answer always includes something about trying to "develop a theory about the origin of the universe". In fact, the whole purpose of the "basic research" in projects of this kind is to disprove the Bible's story of creation, which is at the very least a "theory about the origin of the universe", and is widely available at little or no cost.

This sounds kind of crazy, but has anyone else noticed the craziness of birds lately?

My wife and I have both commented on how dumb birds have been acting. Both of us have hit a couple birds and had numerous close calls while riding in the car within the last few months. Its as if they have lost their senses and dove right in front of the car!

Our neighbor told us of how the swallows tried flying into her windows.

Call me crazy, but does the animal kingdom sense something about to happen or is their some kind of scientific phenomenom going on?

At its core atheism IS a religion. It takes faith to take insufficient evidence and jump to the conclusion that there is no God. All our arguments mean nothing to the atheist, not because of any validity or lack thereof: but because we are the heretics in the religion of atheism. Atheism cannot support its philosophy with logic, so they must ignore/fabricate faults with all arguments to the contrary.

Pride is the sin that is killing the atheist. Admitting he may be wrong is a violation of his religion. especially when he considers himself mentally superior to mindless followers of faith. That's why arguments with an atheist always go in a circle.
An atheist is the most close minded person you will ever meet.

[Mr. Mann of RR blogs about FSTDT]

Atheists come demanding evidence. But they discount anything that disproves their pet theories, no matter how well founded that evidence is.
Simply because I am a Christian, anything I have to say will never be good enough for an atheist. (don't believe me, visit an atheist site, the sheer hatred/bigotry towards Christians is amazing. I always thought atheists to be unemotional in their unbelief, but they hate people of faith!)

An honest atheist is an agnostic because he must admit he doesn't have enough evidence to know if God is there or not. (an interesting aside, there are no militant agnostic organizations out to stamp out Christianity, only the radical atheists are doing that. Agnostics just don't care.)

Mr dogood wrote....

Once upon a time, a set of parents lobbied for "pro-life" interests in Indiana. Their 17 year old daughter, Rebecca Bell, became pregnant, but under a state law in Indiana, minors required parental consent to obtain an abortion. Said to be unwilling to tell her parents about her pregnancy for fear of disappointing them, or go to court to receive a judicial bypass, Bell sought an illegal abortion. Within a week of the procedure, she became seriously ill and died from a massive infection.

Sounds to me like a simple story of what goes around comes around. She had her baby murdered and then she died herself...that sounds fair to me.

I was thinking, and that can be dangerous in and of itself, but, a greenhouse is full of plants. Plants use the CO2 we put in the air and let off oxygen. So then with a room full of plants wouldnt you expect there to be more O2 in the room? If there is more O2 in the room, would that mean that greenhouse gases are what we need to live? I obviously havent done the research as yet, but it is certainly a curious thought.

I believe the evidence points to them being demons, plain and simple. Remember, Satan disguises himself as angel of light, and what do these UFOs demonstrate all the time? A light show!

I read a book called UFOs: What on Earth is Going On? by John Weldon, and another, The Great Flying Saucer Deception (I think that was the title, but the name of the author is not remembered), as well as some other materials whose titles and authors I don't remember (this was back in the 70s, so grant me some grace )

These Christians authors made observations that when you compare the strange manifestations of a UFO contactee who channels UFO beings, with the strange manifestations of an occult seance medium supposedly contacting departed spirits, the symptoms are all but identical: supernatural knowledge, a sense of "cold air", the channeler/medium speaking with a strange voice not their own, objects moving around, etc. In the latter, these are readily known occult manifestations of the presence of a demon, but somehow we are supposed to think that if these symptoms show up upon contacting UFOs, it's not the occult, but science!

UFOs are demonic (not scientific), and this is true despite all the Star Wars, Star Trek, and other sci-fi shows/movies/books/comic books to the contrary!

I haven't said the sun revolves around the Earth. I said it may be that it does. Do get your facts straight please. Don't you know that the solar system disproves cosmic evolution? Saturn and Neptune have moons that spin in opposite directions in contradiction of the law of Conservation of Angular Momentum. That's only one of many examples of how evolutionist scientists know thier theories are disproven by science, yet they teach them because the alternative is creation. This is called? lying.

There’s hope for people who are trapped in the homosexual lifestyle or who suffer from unwanted same-sex attraction. Part of our fallen condition as humans is that we are all subject to sin. Those who know the Savior of the world, Jesus Christ, are no better or worse than those who engage in homosexual sin.

But through the loving and redemptive power of Jesus Christ, we can all find salvation from sin. So can homosexuals.“Gayness” is not an “immutable” or unchangeable condition as homosexual apologists would have you believe. People can find freedom from homosexual behaviors and even from same-sex attractions. It’s not easy, but untold thousands of former homosexuals have done it.

There’s also hope in the ongoing battle between the “gay” agenda and our national moral integrity. Concerned Women for America (CWA) endeavors on a daily basis to counter this destructive movement throughout all facets of culture and public policy.

With God’s help, we can turn back the tide of sexual and moral relativism that has both permeated our society and offended our founding principles.

Evolution? Are you nuts!?!

Besides the obvious fact that institutions of "higher learning" are breeding grounds for Evolutionist infidels, an article from FOX regarding a recent Gallup poll shows that less than 40% of Americans believe in evolution, and less than 25% of high school-educated people believe in the ridiculous nonsense.

Well, with no evidence for the "theory," no "transitional fossils" (which were a problem for Darwin and still give Evolutionists epileptic fits) and belief only in places full of educated idiots, proponents of this nonsensical pipe dream need to crawl back into their scummy little holes and suck an egg.

The New State Religion: Atheism

It seems that atheism has become the official stance of America’s school system. One way in which many schools and teachers are attempting to indoctrinate students is by the use of new terms to hide the actual intent of the policy maker. For example, the current euphemism for an atheist is a nontheist or naturalist. Even if a naturalistic explanation is not true, scientists must still try to explain all events from this worldview.

Knowing that their functional atheism could hinder them from obtaining grants or public support, scientists often skip around these conclusions in their writing and teaching. Some, though, are open and honestly reveal their atheism. One example is William B. Provine, professor of biological science at Cornell. He notes that at the beginning of his class about 75% of his students “were either creationists or believed in purposive evolution” guided by God or a divine power. Research on his incisive, direct, hard-hitting teaching on origins (how students often describe his lectures) reveals that the number of creationists and those who “believed in purposive evolution” dropped to about 50% by the end of the course. No one has hauled him into court for his openly indoctrinating students in atheism, and indeed, scientists in general have applauded him.

Scientists generally not only support Provine’s one-sided teaching but are determined not to allow the other side in the classroom. Further, scientific orthodoxy teaches that human existence has no God-given purpose, but is a chance event, a blip on the radar screen in the infinity of time. No God had any part in the creation.
