Quote# 58685

America is filled with living dead people. The average woman nowadays has no hesitation about dressing half-naked. They scoff at virtue and decency as a big joke. They detest modest clothing and spit in the face of God. They reject the Word of God (1st Timothy 2:9) and disregard anything that is holy. They are Christ-rejecters bound for the Lake of Fire in their sins. Hell will be hot! Judgment will be swift and final... the Lake of Fire will endure FOREVER.

Even after you've been burning in the Lake of Fire for a trillion years, it won't even be the beginning... you will BURN IN HELL FOREVER!!! Are you a crazy fool to take a chance like that? Obviously, the world is insane. Listen friend, the Bible has yet to be disproved. On the contrary, if you'll do even a little research... you'll discover that there's an overwhelming amount of concrete evidence (such as the Dead Sea Scrolls) in support of the Bible. Go ahead skeptics, I triple-dog-dare-you to try to disprove the Bible. You won't do it and it's never been done! All the claims of skeptics over the centuries have been shattered to pieces by modern science and archaeology.

You will go to Hell to pay for your own sins if you don't get saved...

[P.Z. Myers gets email...]

Thanks for removing all doubt as to what will be taught at U-Morris. My daughter was considering attending after she graduates next year. That will not be the case anymore.

For you to take it upon yourself to have people e-mail U of Vermont, protesting the invitation to have Ben Stein speak at commencement, shows a narrow minded disdain opposing views in not only science but probably everything else.

Everyday. And I mean everyday. Your 'we come from goo' stance is loosing ground and you and your ilk are scared to death of continually being proven wrong. So you go nuts at these opposing views of creation and what not. Funny thing is Stein is a nice guy and probably wouldn't even talk about that scary creation point of view anyway. You have got to lighten up.

Please do not take this personally, since I have never met you or even heard of you until I saw Pharyngula. There are lots of people over the years that have been ramming this impossible Theory of Evolution down our throats. But that does not mean its true.

We need to keep open minds and field and teach opposing views and let truth take it where it leads no matter how improbable a direction.

Respectfully,
Steve Broten

That's GOT to be a blow to the fag movement.

Damn, nasty. I was thinking they could have saved a lot of money by staying single or homo style partners. Now they have to pay to git ur shit and git. There is irony, and it is most welcome. Pay bitches pay. Maybe the faggot judges in Massholetwoshits could be made to pay for the divorce. They caused it.

From day 1, the Goodridge case was a judicial travesty. And BTW, queer "marriage" is NOT legal in Massholechusetts, the "Gay" State. Ergo the two dykes cannot be divorced.

Although 1st Corinthians 6:9 is clearly condemning homosexuality and cross-dressing, it is also equally clear that any form of femininity in a man is sinful. This is why Deuteronomy 22:5 condemns men wearing women's apparel. Clearly, it is not acceptable for men to wear women's clothing. Men are to be men! Men should talk like men, dress like men, walk like men, and act like men. Kilts on men are sissyish. Although a man wearing a kilt may be tough, the skirt makes him look silly and foolish. Although most men who wear kilts aren't gay, it makes one wonder why any man would ever want to wear clothing that is considered women's apparel by 99% of the population. A quick look at any bathroom door will quickly reveal that men wear pants, and women wear dresses.

Jesus said in Matthew 11:8, "But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings' houses." John the Baptist was rugged, as a man should be. The men who lived in the palace wore "soft" clothing, i.e., they didn't look or act like REAL MEN. I've never seen a construction worker wearing a kilt. I've never seen a truck mechanic or a coal miner wearing a kilt. I only see men with clean jobs, or playing bagpipes, wearing kilts. Kilts are for men in the palace, not for John the Baptist type men ... real men!

[About FSTDT with the (old?) Admin's answers in bold.]

What is the goal of this site? Entertainment.
I guess it is entertaining to have a site that is 90% geared towards the hate of Christians. Even up to implying that they should be killed just for what they believe.

I don't get a lot of non-Christian submissions. Non-Christian quotes just don't get submitted to the site very often at all.
Which shows that your members are basically Atheists, and Satanists like yourself.

I allow people to say anything, I operate my site using a principle of minimal moderation.
Regardless of how many excuses you make for your sites content. What you allow on your site shapes what your site has become. If killing Christians is entertainment, then allowing it to be said is what you condone. Having the ability to delete comments like this on your site, but not choosing to because "you allow people to say anything" attitude. Is allowing, and approving what you actually think. Because when someone actually carries out what you allow on your site (killing people for what they believe), I'd like to see if you can get off the hook by using one of the lame excuses you use here. There is nothing you can say that will ever justify murder.

No one would care what fundies say if it weren't for the fact that they are trying to roll back civil rights in this country, rewrite the whole of history to fit their little pet theories about the universe, make a mockery of science by trying to justify ice-canopy theories, hydroplate theories, flood geology, and geocentricism.
So your goal of all this is a type of mind control? Where your way of thinking is the only way everyone should think? Because to do what you say above, it would take an established dictatorship that puts out information that only supports it's views (your views). And stifles all other views even up to killing those who would disagree. Even Hitler tried to do this. If what you believe were truly about free thought. You would not care what I think, or anyone else. The term free thinker is just a cover up for the mind control you want to havem over everyone. Because free thinking is a part of freedom. I see no freedom in thinking that anyone who does not go along with your ideas, should be ridiculed, or even killed. Maybe that's the real reason you allow people to say: We should kill Christians. Deep inside, it's what you want. So you let other people say it for you.

So is the mockery of science your justification for murder? Because every excuse I see by people like yourself, always boils down to science and evolution. And killing for evolution always connects to Hitler. And will be the reason I will always make that connection as long as sites like yours, and other condone killing.

The Pope said derogatory comments and we made him apologize. If this leaks out to the known public, we muslims don't give a rats ass whether your laws permit you to put up these pictures. Eventually we will get them reversed through peaceful or forceful means.

Don't Want to Die from a Coat Hanger Abortion? Don't Have One!

Pro-choicers think that it is somehow a kind of threat when they declare that, should abortion be made illegal, they will all go out and kill themselves by getting coat hanger abortions. I don’t know about any of you, but this actually encourages me to continue to fight for criminalized abortion.

The pro-choicers treat the fictional 14 year-old girls who supposedly died pre-Roe as if they are wonderful women who were martyred for a noble cause. Besides being unable to provide even one documented evidence of the—what are we at now?—“hundreds of thousands” of women who died every year from coat hanger abortions, pro-choicers consistently ignore the fact that such women were trying to kill their children.

We are expected to act and react to these hypothetical women in the same way we would react should the Pope walk into the room. If they weren’t dead, we would embrace them, thank them for their great service to the world and ask them if they would like to be taken out to lunch.

Pro-lifers who dare to call such women baby killers, murderers, delusional, insane, troubled, pressured, weak or anything other than “amazing women” are quickly called—by pro-choicers and some pro-lifers alike—anti-women and insensitive. Even many pro-lifers have fallen for the coat hanger myth, because, really, who didn’t have a great aunt who died from a coat hanger abortion?

HUH? This is a knee-slapper in its idiocy. It is, of course, about evolution and an article about birds.

(1) I dont see how nine transition forms is plenty of evidence...seems like their should be more transition forms than either dinosaurs or birds. Also, from what I understand Archaeopteryx was a fake. (2) Birdlike eggs doesn't imply anything more than they were birdlike eggs (3) Says that male dinosaurs guarded eggs, yet they offer no evidence outside of an artists rendition. Even if it were the case, it makes a very weak argument for the link between birds. Male aligators protect nests within their territory, doesnt make them birds. (4) Tissue in a T-rex...instead of proving that they evolved into birds, this is clear proof that dinosaurs are not 68 million years old or older, but rather proves a recent flood. (5) Again, they suggest that it was a common feature, but give no evidence..because there is none. (6) The bigger question this raises would be, if they had air pockets in their bones, how did they not break under their weight? If it was found only in small bird sized reptiles it again shows nothing other than similar design. (7) At the risk of being redundant, only shows similar design not progressive evolution. (8) Will wait to see further evidence of this, but it only proves that some raptors had feathers at most. (9) And back to the possibly forged fossil archaeopteryx, which there are only a handfull of in the world...again, if dinosaurs did evlove into birds why arent there more transitional forms? And why do the scientists need to pick and choose traits from different dinosaurs? Shouldnt there be a clear progression? There isnt a clear progression, only evidence of similar traits among different species of animals. Seems evolutionists are trying harder and harder these days to push their religion on us.

By a trial of the objective facts the accused is guilty. The prosecution rests its case.

I consider atheism a faith-based religion for a few reasons. For one, you believe that there can be an effect without a cause, i.e. the universe exists with no cause outside of itself. Atheists believe that on faith. Atheists also believe in mythical creatures for which there is no evidence, i.e. all the transitional forms between lizard and mammal, for instance. Thirdly, atheists believe that natural selection can turn fish into eagles, which again is faith. Thus, atheism is faith based.

[What follows is a transcription of part of a speech that a hopelessly misinformed girl delivered about the topic "Why Atheist [sic] must reconsider their position."
You can listen to it yourself by following the link.]

Charles Darwin, who was the founder of evolution, wasn't even a scientist but a theologian studying theology at Cambridge University. He was an ex-Christian who one day decided: "You know what? I don't feel like believing God exists anymore, so I'm gonna create my own theory."

And without any sort of scientific evidence, any sort of methods, or anything, he decided that he wanted to create evolution. He even said it in his own book that: "Hey, I was just a young man with unformed ideas. [audience begins to laugh] I mean, I put out some queries, I put a few suggestions out, wondering all the time about everything. And to my astonishment, people ran with the ideas like wildfire! [audience begins to cheer and to clap] People made a religion out of it!"

Suggestions and queries? Suggestions and queries, is that what evolution has put their hope in? Suggestions and queries from a scientist who wasn't even a scientist but a theologian?

[There is more bullshit where this came from, so I recommend to follow the link.]

Good luck with that argument though. IT will never happen. So many think evolution is fact. Did you know they are trying to find a molecule to explain the big bang? They haven't found it yet even though they've been searching for decades and billions of dollars later. I wonder why they haven't found it yet, weird.

[Homosexuality is not a disgrace in any way either. What is wrong with it?]

"what is wrong with it?" Well, i guess that you don't believe in God. Or you don't believe in normality. You don't even believe in the dictionary... search marriage in it. This is not about love, it's about lust and perversion. It's nothing wrong in a man loving a man, but not in a sexual way. Soon there will be a media war, that will say that people like me are against love, that is not true. Maybe you'll understand when your son/daughter will come home with his/her choice and it will be the same sex.

I am just so sickened.....by everything that has been happening in the world lately....globally, nationally and just individually. The world has gone completely mad. Sometimes I think maybe it is just because now I am paying attention....but no.....NO...that isn't the case....because it isn't just things I notice on the news or on the forums.....it is just a total disregard of people to one another. It is also the crazy stuff that occurs.....small stuff that is just an indication of where we are headed....e.g. the soccer league my son belongs too refuses to have teams as they want to make sure that teams are even each week....what the heck??? It is the teacher not being able to put stars on the top of the paper when my child does well....oh...there are so many things.
I feel like I am banging my head against the wall.....intelligent people....some of whom are relatives voted for Obama and believe in the Goracle. Others refuse to see that his platform was socialist....how can they not see??
I fear for my kids....my one hope is that we get raptured soon before they get too old to be indoctrinated by the nannystate against my will.....but then that makes me angry....that my only real way out of this is rapture or death. I know we are just piligrims in this world, but why oh why can't people see???? Why can't they just be good to one another and allow those of us who are true Christians alone?
Is it just me or does it just seem like the world has just gone nuts in the last few months and that things are completely escalating??
I just had another baby this month...and what is interesting to me is that had I known back in April what I know now with how the world is spiraling into chaos I would have never gotten pregnant....I wouldn't have wanted to bring another innocent child into this horrible world......I am so glad my baby is here....but I get so sad thinking how much worse this world is going to get as she grows. My children will not have the same innocent childhood I had growing up...it makes me angry as it didn't have to be like this!
I know there is a reason behind this and to trust God, but I do feel bitter toward those who make this world so sinful...not that I am free of sin...I know I should just pray for their souls, but currently I am just disgusted with what I am witnessing. Please pray that I can move forward and not be so depressed with what I see going on and that I can just continue to turn to the Lord when I witness all this depravity.

They just want to discredit them so they can get that persons funding. This is different to what Richard Dawkins tries to suggest is the norm. He suggests that scientists are more than happy to be proven wrong. There may be some who are but mostly they will fight tooth and nail over it not calmly walk up to the other person and say thankyou.

Quote# 58321

If homosexuality were significantly influenced by genes, it would appear in every culture, but in twenty-nine of seventy-nine cultures surveyed by Ford and Beach in 1952, homosexuality was rare or absent. It was very rare in the Siriono, even though there were no prohibitions on homosexual relationships in that culture. The researcher observed only one man displaying slight homosexual traits but apparently not sexually involved with another man. Homosexuality appears to be rare among Orthodox Jews, so much so that learned rabbis, the interpreters of Jewish law, usually allowed men to sleep in the same bed, because likelihood of sexual contact was considered negligible. Kinsey also found very low homosexual incidence among Orthodox Jews...

This evidence comes from missionaries who commonly spend 25 years of their lives living in one culture, far more than almost any anthropologist....Overall they can be considered as reliable witnesses. For example, in contrast to groups like the Sambia in the New Guinea highlands, where homosexuality was compulsory, only about 2-3 percent of Western Dani (also in the New Guinea highlands) practiced it. However, in another group of Dani who were genetically related, homosexuality was totally unknown. Missionaries report that when they were translating the Bible into Dani for this group, their tribal assistants, who knew their own culture intimately, were nonplused by references to homosexuality in Romans 1; they did not understand the concept. Another missionary, with the same group for 25 years, overheard many jests and sexually ribald exchanges among the men, but never a single mention of homosexuality in all that time. When Dani went to help with missionary work among the Sambia, they were astounded at some of the homosexual practices they saw for the first time. Although it is always difficult for a foreigner to be completely sure whether a rare and stigmatized behavior exists, it is certainly true that if three such different experiences of homosexuality can occur in groups of people so closely related genetically, genetically enforced homosexuality is an impossibility.
