any HONEST scientist must admit; Natural selection and Darwin's evolution does not and cannot account for life as we see it in light of biological advances since Darwin's death...it is getting 'weaker' in it's evidence and shrinking in it's serious proponents.

This does NOT mean that Christianity is therefore true...it does mean that Darwin's evolution is DEAD...but, the science community wants to soak it for more time, power and money before it jumps to the next politically correct scienctific explanation for the cult of naturalism.

What's all this talk about the "facts" of macroevolution? It's a historical science. It took place in the past. It's more forensic than empirical. We look to the fossil record for evidence, not facts, and all evidence is open to interpretation. It should be debated in a court room, not a science lab

Many a coward has been bolstered in his conviction against challenging tyranny by not reading too deeply into the Scriptures. Yet, nowhere does the Bible ever suggest evil rulers are to be obeyed. When the rule of men conflicts with the commands of God, the Bible leaves no doubt about where we should stand.

That's why I do not hesitate today in calling on godly Americans to pray that Barack Hussein Obama fail in his efforts to change our country from one anchored on self-governance and constitutional republicanism to one based on the raw and unlimited power of the central state.

It would be folly to pray for his success in such an evil campaign.

I want Obama to fail because his agenda is 100 percent at odds with God's. Pretending it is not simply makes a mockery of God's straightforward Commandments.

So you will not see me joining in the ritual of affirming Obama and his mission in public or private prayer this week – or any other week.

Have you guys ever noticed that most atheists that you meet are a hell lot more depressed then agnostic or religious people? LOL. They have nothing to look toward in life, and nothing to turn to.

Also since I'm making a thread about atheists anyways, why are Atheists so obsessed over the ideal of nothing? They defend their "cause" to no end, and as much as any other religious person.

They too have a religion, except their religion is based around worshipping nothing. Say it isn't a religion, but Atheism posses most points involved with religion except the god part, they merely celebrate nothing as their "god" figure.

Many years ago, before I came to the point in my walk where I am now(I will stand up for my belief.....but many years ago I was more concerned about what my family would think if I hadn't shown up). My brother and his wife were married by a witch(prietess)....they had the cauldron, the broom, the magic circle cast. I attended.....with my hubby, and for at least 6 months after we were under major spiritual attack. Tires slashed on a daily basis....windows breaking in on top of us in the middle of the night....screaming (a womans voice) in our home in the middle of the night.

We opened a door.....because we knew that what we were witnessing was sooooo wrong and soooooo against our Lord, and yet we condoned it by just being there.

i would think twice about attending any kind of 'mock' wedding.......I know that from personal experiences....that we never will again.

I'm a science fiction freak... Always have been. Star Trek and Star Wars were a large part of my teenage years. Lately I've been hearing that a lot of theoretical physics speculates that their may be more than one universe, if the math is right... I really don't know the workings of it, but it's interesting.

How this relates to Christianity is this: you think the Bible might support that? For example, the genealogy of Jesus in Matthew is different than the one in Luke. Maybe one or the other recorded Jesus' genealogy from an alternate universe!

Studying with an open mind to ID will unlock the true mysteries of how mind can interact with matter, how spiritual energy can birth life into existence. The work in thought engendered light will produce incredible discoveries on how creative we are, how one of our cells has enough power in it to rekindle the sun, when motivated with thought.
Why does someone heal faster when their thoughts are positive, or when a plant is in the same room they are recovering in. These unseen powers exist and they are by design, which means intelligence designed them. Just like the home you live in took a designer, even if you don't know how all the systems work.

Evolutionism is based on Greek Mythology.
evolution has nothing to do with the being of life as we know it.

As for evolution, that's what's taught in 3rd world countries as a way of censoring knowledge.

Even atheist like Ricard Dawkins will admit to I.D.

So we have to look at all the facts.
If evolutionism is real then where's the missing link, and the millions of transitional species?

David Engle said he felt a chill down his spine Sunday on a visit with his family to the Kansas City Zoo.

He could hardly believe it when he saw zoo visitors rubbing the heads and bellies of two large, smiling statues of Buddha at the entrance to the Tiger Trail area.

“We can’t have a cross or a nativity scene on public property,” said Engle of Overland Park, who complained to a zoo employee. “It is phenomenal to me that the zoo would put up Buddha statues.”

Engle, who said he and his family are Christians, said it was idolatry and “infuriating to God.”

(Now here's the best bit: the "Buddha" statues are not in fact Buddha at all, but a Japanese saint called Hotei - Details here)

[Referring to the airplane that recently made a fatality-free crash landing in the Hudson River.]

Female pilots are fine, till there's a situation like the US Airways emergency in the Hudson River.

While not impossible for a female pilot to have made the exact same decision, I'll put my life into the decisional/emotional state of a man, thank you.

It can't be denied that the reactions of male and female are different. That's not a bad thing. That's not a put down. But MayDay in a passenger jetliner and a girl deciding what to do? You get the point.

The plane that crashed in the Pacific off LAX some years back, had a nonresponsive worm gear on the elevator (rear flaps), I believe it was. In stead of using the other flaps and ailerons to steer back to a landing, the female pilot decided to run the worm gear out to the end and back.

It was already known to be "sticking" and now it is stuck in an extreme position making the plane uncontrollable by the other flaps and such.

A male's decision would have been to fly back with what you know you have that works. The belief that while in the air, you could tweak and toy with the problematic elevator, which came from the female pilot, was the cause of the crash and loss of all souls on board.

The press managed to keep it real low and below the radar, that the pilot was female. You had to dig to find it out.

Jesus rocks. I love my God. He’s given me strength in the toughest of times. His burden is light.

As for my atheist friends. It’s interesting that your belief in “nothing” manifests itself in the same way that anothers belief in something does, that is proselytizing it. Yet when I or other religions do it you get pissed off and say that people are pushing their religion on you, yet you are doing the same thing.

There probably is a God, so talk to him, you and the world would be better for it

And a sidenote. I know alot of Atheists and though they will protest a great deal about the next statement, I’ve always seen it to be true. I’ve never met a happy atheist. Never.
Usually it’s just cynical grumblers looking for everything wrong in well…everything.

One of the many problems with Darwin's theory of evolution pertaining to mankind is that neither Charles Darwin nor his worshippers take into account extra-terrestrial life.

It's pretty hard for someone to draw conclusions on mankind when Darwin had never seen nor heard of UFOs. That's kind of like teaching math but not understanding trigonometry.

Most of us in the Niagara Region live on a lake bed (Lake Iroquois). The Indians cannot be blamed for having an effect on this major geographical landscape change anymore than modern man can be blamed for the weather patterns we see today. There is such a thing as pole shifting, and according to people who have studied Mayan culture we are quite possibly in the midst of a pole change -- which many people believe will be in 2012.

In his letter, Keith Wigzell ironically contradicts himself when he says that man as part of the animal kingdom is one of the last to appear.

Does this mean evolution stopped at man, or that God stopped creating his creatures?

I certainly believe that all life evolves consciously and spiritually; however, to suggest that man evolved from a monkey is simply silly.

Quote# 56758

One time I was trying to pray, and I felt it was not going any higher than the roof. Something was hindering me, terribly. So I asked the Lord what it was that was keeping me from getting thru. Immediately, I saw a dark form in the room. It had no face, and no substance. It was an intensely dark nothingness. But it had the shape of a person.

I was terrified, and asked the Lord why that demon was there. Immediately, I saw a Barbie doll. And I knew.

When I was a little girl, I became very attached to my Barbie dolls. I would make clothes for them, and they were intentionally immodest. I played dating with Ken. I imagined all kinds of impure things with those dolls. From that point, I became obsessed with impurity, in my thought life.

When I became a Christian, I tried to get rid of those thoughts. It was a horrible battle. And I never completely won. Many times, I would slip back into that impure mindset. And I would slide far away from God.

That day, when I saw that demon, I knew that I had a stronghold in my life, that needed to be broken. I had given a place to the devil.
(...)
Parents, I implore you: do not allow your little girls to play with Barbies! It can destroy their precious souls!

('I played with Barbies when I was a little girl and I never had the problems you mentioned you had while playing with them.')

I mean that to allow a child to play with a doll that is shaped so as to appeal to a playboy mentality, is just plain wrong. It puts a stumblingblock in the way of that little one. Perhaps not every girl will come under demonic influence thru that doll. But many, many do. I have known some of them. Boys get a great charge out of those sexual dolls. I have also seen little boys get overly attracted to those dolls, and it awakens something in them that is wrong. Should Christians parents take the chance, just to avoid "legalism"?

The Barbie doll was inspired by and modeled after a German prostitute doll named Lilli. That should tell you enough.

If you really want to know more, just Google "Jack Ryan" who was the creator of the Barbie doll, and you will find out more than you would ever want to know about the mentality behind her creation.

It's easy, much like the fairytale for children where the princess kisses the frog and *poof*, he becomes a prince, evolution is a similar fairytale for adults who like doing wicked things that go against what God wills and desires: primordial ooze(mud)turning into an astronaut over time. Neat thing about evolution and creationism.. both start out from the earth with dust/dirt/mud, except evolution has a twist so people feel empowered with knowledge.
