Atheists: I'm sorry, can explain please. Give me a chance?
I am 15 and my atheist cousin just passed on. I think of her all the time screaming in hell. It is driving me crazy. I know it will be for her own good, but it is still hard to think about when I love God so much. It just hit home what is in store for you non-believers. Forgive me and I hope you understand.

“I was a third generation masturbator. My grandfather taught my father and he taught me. At an early age I was told that it was OK to beat my monkey. In fact, I was encouraged by my father to have contests with him and my brother to see who could do it the most often and the fastest. This continued all through my young adult and early married life.

Up until one year ago I was masturbating a minimum of three times a day. I did it at the office, in the car, at the health club. There weren’t many places I didn’t do it.

When my son was born I masturbated just thinking about the day I could introduce him to masturbating.

All I thought about was when I could get away somewhere private and abuse myself. Then someone at church introduced me to BBDBO. Jim Hodges followed me into the rest-room and just as I was about to go into a stall to “do it” he stopped me and told me about this great new ministry for people like us.

I was embarrassed but intrigued. “People like us?” I asked him. That is when he told me that he too was addicted to masturbation and shared his testimony with me right there in that bathroom stall.

He invited me to a meeting that evening in the fellowship hall. I was surprised to see how many men that I worked with, played golf with, and worshiped with were addicted to masturbating.

I broke down that night and confessed my desire to change. I knew that God was telling me to take matters into my own hands and my penis out of them.

After a few sessions with Pastor Grover I was saved by the grace of God. With a scripture based therapy and group sessions I haven’t masturbated since.

Now, the only thing I fondle in the heat of the moment is a KJV 1611 bible“

The baby had tainted with sinful blood and therefore must go to Hell. Jesus is the only way out of Hell.

As for fighting against Pagans, I will gladly fight against the Pagans any day of the week. From New York to Mecca, any time they are looking to attack the innocent, and I have the power to stop them, then I shall

Who do you think God is punishing with Hurricane Gustav?
I blame the municipalities who allow stores to be open for business on Sundays and the people who patronize these stores. Sunday is supposed to be a day to praise the Lord and reflect on His greatness. Growing up, stores and restaurants were closed on Sunday. Good folks went to church and then mother would make family dinner. Times were better then. I salute the businesses that remain closed on Sundays to allow employees to go to church and not have to deal with un-Godly people.

JONAH, Jews Offering New Alternatives to Homosexuality, is a non-profit international organization dedicated to educating the world-wide Jewish community about the prevention, intervention, and healing of the underlying issues causing same-sex attractions.

Our Rabbinical sages explain that because mankind has been endowed by our Creator with a free will, everyone has the capacity to change. Furthermore, the Rabbis emphasize that parents, teachers and counselors have a special responsibility to educate, nurture, and provide an opportunity for those struggling with unwanted same-sex attractions to journey out of homosexuality.

Through psychological and spiritual counseling, peer support, and self-empowerment, JONAH seeks to reunify families, to heal the wounds surrounding homosexuality, and to provide hope.

I knew signing up for the AFA newsletter would be hilarious...

Planned Parenthood, the billion dollar corporate abortion provider, has taken immorality to a whole new level and is using your taxpayer dollars to spread its toxic propaganda.

A new Planned Parenthood promotional Web site (www.takecaredownthere.org), which targets youth and is called "Take Care Down There," features short "public service" video vignettes which, among other things, promote casual sex, immodesty, homosexuality and even group sex. Please click here to see what Planned Parenthood is doing with your money. For example, one video on this new Web site depicts what appears to be an African-American male teenager relegated to performing oral sex on a white male teenager while another white male (an adult authority figure in a suit) stands nearby giving instructions.

(Thread: If you were President how would you start fixing the economy?)

(1) Press (1) for English is immediately banned. English is the official language; speak it or wait at the border until you can.

(2) We will immediately go into a two year isolationist posture to straighten out the country's attitude. NO imports, no exports.
We will use the 'Walmart' policy, 'If we ain't got it, you don't need it.'

(3) When imports are allowed, there will be a 100% import tax on it.

(4) All retired military personnel will be required to man one of our many observation towers on the southern border until Texas residents (not politicians) tell us the situation is under control. (six month tour)

(5) Social security will immediately return to its original state.
If you or your spouse didn't put nuttin in, you ain't gettin nuttin out. The president nor any other politician will not be able to touch it.

(6) Welfare - Checks will be handed out on Fridays at the end of the 40 hour school week and the successful completion of urinalysis and a passing grade.

(7) Professional Athletes --Steroids - The FIRST time you check positive you're banned for life.

(8) Crime - We will adopt the Turkish method, the first time you steal, you lose your right hand. There is no more life sentences.
If convicted, you will be put to death by the same method you chose for your victim; gun, knife, strangulation, etc.

(9) One export will be allowed; Wheat, The world needs to eat.
A bushel of wheat will be the exact price of a barrel of oil.

(10) All foreign aid using American taxpayer money will immediately cease, and the saved money will pay off the national debt and ultimately lower taxes. When disasters occur around the world, we'll ask the American people if they want to donate to a disaster fund, and each citizen can make the decision whether it's a worthy cause.

(11) The Pledge of Allegiance will be said every day at school and every day in Congress.

(12) The National Anthem will be played at all appropriate ceremonies, sporting events, outings, etc.

Sorry if I stepped on anyone's toes but a vote for me or Maxine will get you better than what you have, and better than what you're gonna get.

2 problems I see from the start with the big bang theory.

First, we are told by scientists that there was nothing big about it. That somehow all the matter and energy in the universe was smaller than the size of one molecule or atom (as we relatively comparatively understand this juxtaposition of apples to apples today).

Second, we are told there was a bang or explosion. This would mean fire. How can fire burn in the absence of oxygen? Even if this explosion was self contained, what is this place and where did it come from that all this energy and matter exploded out into?

Since when has an explosion ever created order?

I am more accepting of The Creation model. Energy dispersal and matter placement are quite provocative matters for the finite mind to grasp. What is seemingly apparent to the finite mind often overlooks mysteries of the conception and standards of human contrivances. Many theories are just that, they are specious in nature and just invented for convenience. Big bang ego is a dream, but The Saviour reigns supreme.

If anyone tells you a woman can work outside the home AND be a "great mom" they are either lying or deceived. NO ONE can do both well. One MUST redefine "great mom" or even "great employee". Because that woman IS letting someone down and someone is suffering for her choice.

Employment outside the home, particularly full-time, indeed leads to a high rate of divorce. We've seen this over the years.

It also emasculates the man and his God-given role to be the provider and protector of the family. In addition, it increases his adamic bent to be lazy.

[Just to prove that nobody's mind is filthier than a fundie's. There isn't any other use for a "privacy mode," right?]

The latest Internet browser by Microsoft includes software that allows users to conceal the various websites they have accessed. See FOX News. The feature is called InPrivate Browsing, and is nicknamed the "porn mode" because it lets users hide the sites they have viewed at the click of a button.

After this "porn mode" setting is chosen, other people who use the computer will not be able to see which sites have been accessed. Other browsers have similar tools, but the IE 8 tool is much more visible. InPrivate allows the cache to be cleared from your computer, and will not save your browsing or search history, cookies, form data or passwords.

Microsoft says the tool is designed for people using public or shared computers. Yes, this is just what we need, a tool to make it easier for child porn addicts to look at innocent children at the library without the next user finding out about it. Also, IE 8 should be a huge boon to philandering spouses and teens cruising for porn on their parents' computers. I wonder if Microsoft will advertise this new IE version as the "Porn Enabler" version?

This browser was available last night as a "beta" version, but the next Microsoft Windows operating system will include this browser.

Okay as far as the desert growing, you say you don't want to assume that it has continued to grow at the same rate. That's great. You have an argument. But guess what? You are assuming a lot of things are true to believe even mildly in evolution. You are assuming that fossils and layers of dirt can at the same time judge how old each other is. You are assuming that one kind of creature can create another kind. You are assuming that nothing exploded some 20 billion years ago and created all that is. I'm sorry but these are pretty far fetched assumptions.

Oh and the grand canyon? That is easily explainable by the flood. That canyon didn't have to grow over millions and millions of years. A great flood could erode that in a few days.

and yes I realize we are small specs in the time period, even for a 6000 year old universe we are still just tiny specs on it, but how long has the sun been formed according to evolutionists? 10 billion years or so? I think 10 billion years of growth from what we see today would be a pretty big and pretty strong sun thanks.

I understand why most people don't want to accept God and if you are one of them then fine, I'm sorry to hear it but what can I do. If you are going to say that evolution is fact though and you think that it's science and not religious faith, then you need to reexamine the theory of evolution and the things it states.

[On the definition of Christian]

One who has received God's FREE gift of Salvation (eternal life in heaven) as a result of having faith in God and having faith in Jesus Christ who died on the Cross as atonement for the sins of every man/woman.
Many people in the world claim to be Christians; however, they really probably aren't.

If you are NOT a Christian, then you will spend eternity in hell. Think about eternity. It's pretty long. Would you want to live FOREVER in heaven with God in a place full of joy? Or, would you want to live in Hell with Satan in eternal pain and misery? Consider your options while you still have the chance.

Because Evolutionism has become our official state religion, which is a violation of the First Amendment.

You are correct, Evolutionism is a religion. It's supporters promote it as science, but if it were in fact science, nobody would be complaining about it. It is an alternate religious belief about our origins.

Science can only reflect on what can be observed. When a speculation becomes an object of faith (like evolution), and when it is dogmatically defended, it becomes a religion.

Science does not create its own evidence. Over the last hundred years, many "proofs" of evolution have been introduced. One by one, they have been shown to be frauds. Science doesn't resort to this because science is the search for truth.

During the video it showed people with birthdefects and airplanes crashing. This isn't the abscence of a God but, the presence of a Satan. People always tend to look over the fact that the opposite of God is satan.
Meaning the opposite of good is bad.

It was also said that God left no evidence that he was here but, besides the fact that this world was made and is still here after millions of years, besides the fact that people don't go around and water the trees around the world to keep them alive; besides the fact that there is nothing holding the stars in the sky.

god left his holyspirit. he gave us evidence of the holyspirit by allowing us to speak in other tongues as the the holyghost gives the evidence.

I don't know about you but, I guess I'll look like a fool for christ. Even if God don't show enough "evidence" of himself for you.

Perhaps there should be an International Code of Religious Conduct.

All Religions must demonstrate:
Love
Joy
Peace
Patience
Kindness
Goodness
Faithfulness
Gentleness
Self Control

(Against such there is no law Gal 5:22,23)

Religions that do not, are subject to censure and restrictions. This would include those who carry out an acceptable religion in an unaccceptable way.
It would also include non-religions or where people have made a law unto themselves.

Don't you think that God could control any situation in the Flood?
