Quote# 42457

do you know why we suffer?
suffering brings you closer to God.
or it should.
This world has no care.
When you say God does not stop violence,
is because,
he said
Do not be violent
and we did not listen.
he does not stop death,
because death is the ultimate victory,
you are united with him.
he lets men starve beacuse
1Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil. 2After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3The tempter came to him and said, "If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread."
food is not necessary to enter into heaven

life on this earth is a waiting room.
for the most kickass doctors office in the world.
so just.
deal with it

When I a freshman took a course in Geology in the fall of 1953, I was astonded that the order of evolution was in harmony with the Bible’s order of creation, at the time I thought this was reasonable.
About 7 years later (1960) In my research, I read “Enspiration vs Evolution” by Dr. W. B. Riley, (copywrite 1923). He pointed out that in Darwin’s Theory it is stated over several hundred times, “we may well assume.” In the Holy Scriptures it is stated over and over, “thus saith the Lord.” (Shall we live on assumptions, or by every word of God?)
Dr. Riley also taught the results of teaching evolution as a fact, and the results of teaching creation. He said, those that are taught evolution, in lieu of creation, would turn to Athesism, Communism, and Anarcy. And that has, and is happening.
God’s word, and His creation have lasted thousands of years,
and our children (as well as adults) are taught “In the beginning God” and the the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and he became a living soul.” (Genesis 2:7)
Yes, “By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and the host of them by the breath of His mouth.” (Psalm 33:6)
A blessed result of teaching creation (God’s word) is given in Proverbs 16:6, “By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.”

[In response to the OP, who asks whether or not the members on this board would refuse to befriend someone based on that person's sexual orientation.]

Well I do care and wouldn't be friends with a homosexual or a bisexual, etc... I don't consider myself racist or sexist either because I like all colors of people which is the exact opposite of racist and I'm not sexist because I think men and women are equal. I wish people would use terminology correctly when dealing with this subject. I am die hard conservative protestant and homosexuality is against my religion. I don't hate them but I will not condone it and will not allow my children around them- so that answers the other question. No my kids would not be allowed to play with theirs. I don't want that kind of lifestyle flaunted around my kids. I don't want them to think it's "ok" to be that way. I am not rude to homosexuals but my beliefs are my beliefs and I'm going to try my hardest to raise my kids with some moral fiber. My husband has a lesbian grandma and I am not rude to her or her partner but she knows how I feel about it- they both do. I told them how I felt and we have a mutual respect, which is basically that one is grandma and the other is a "friend." Also that if there lifestyle starts sparking odd questions amongst the boys then my hubby and I will probably discontinue visiting, etc... We don't really see her often anyways so it probably won't be an issue. So there it is and I'm sure I'll be bashed eventhough I haven't bashed anyone elses opinions on the matter.

[I love finding pages like this. It's like a prospector hitting a vein of gold. Instead of gold, I hit pure insanity.]

The page describes the process a human soul goes through after physical death until it returns back to earth in a new human body. This page does not go into how a human soul came into existence in the first place. I am told that there about 60 billion human souls in existence who can incarnate on earth and no more new human souls are being 'created' at the moment by the Creator. Out of these 60 billion currently about five and a half billion are in incarnation.

So you agree with me, you accepted statistics about 13 yrs old, but say it is not enough

What is the difference between 13 and 9 or 11? we can go to expert medical opinions
When girls get month periods
At what age does a girl get her first period?

So what is the difference? it is percentages only
Lets say that at 15 yrs 95% of girls have month periods
at 13 it is 80%
at 11 it is 50%
at 10 it is 30%
at 9 it is 10%
at 8 (Yes only eight years old) 2%

Most of these people wand and desire sex, so the fact that some 9 years girls will need sex, what can she do?

Also note that in some of these links they said, sexual maturity or a girl will become an adult, ADULT
Calling her a child is false
In many legal cases in USA they use the term "Treated as an adult", wow they break their own rules

If statistics (They are not done by me) show that many US girls do sex before 13, what does that mean?
Does this mean that they do it at exactly the age of 13

Anyway it is not my or your opinion it is pure medical fact, girls starting from age 8 (or even maybe 7 or 6 sometimes, I don't know) will need and do sex
(See how many young whore who got pregnant in US now)

The Question is, What is the best regulation for them?
Does this regulation should depend on Age? and what will be that Age?

I know (as you like all Atheists here, not honest ) will evade questions and write any non-sense
But the point is proved 100%

{A curse that we received from a conservative Christian. (Grammar, punctuation and spelling corrected to make it legible)}:

"This is to let you know that SSM is an abomination in the sight of God and his word says that to agree with sinful evil people is being a partaker of other men's sins therefore the same punishment will be applied. The nation or people that commit abominations will be sent a curse that consists of God sending your enemies upon you and they will kill your sons and daughters, your enemies will eat up all your profits and get rich because of your sinfulness, God will send hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, Fire, Famine, and disease. If this will not turn your heart he will then sent a curse seven times worse until you are utterly destroyed. This is to let you know because many are being destroyed even now this curse has been in effect for a while and God wants sinners to to know why these things are coming upon them. He wants to give all men the opportunity to repent and be saved. These things will increase on the nations and people that war with him and they will know the wrath of the Lamb, for he will break them to pieces like a piece of pottery cast upon a rock, his fire will purge and clean every evil from the face of the earth and many shall flee to caves and hide from his presence crying out for the rocks to fall on them."

Is atheism against the law?

Atheism is a lack of belief mentality which rejects the existence of anything supernatural. By default, atheists are also naturalists and evolutionists. They believe there is a natural explanation for all circumstances and nothing has ever occurred that has a supernatural answer. While atheism does not break any state or federal laws, it does break several scientific laws.

[snip]

What scientific laws does atheism break?

(this place is an absolute goldmine of fundie quotes. And this is from one of the less fundie ones)

If you see atheism as a belief then there is a similarity as there is no proof of atheism as you cannot prove a negative, that there is no God. Atheism is a belief, an erroneous one in my estimation. I think that atheism is not motivated by reason but by a desire to escape morality.
(The old atheists are immoral/ammoral argument)

One of the problems with materialistic atheism is that it is narrow-minded and dogmatic in closing itself from knowledge that does not conform to materialism and naturalism. We are more open-minded. We accept there is knowledge derived from scientific testing and reasoning. We are entirely willing to accept material and natural causes but we admit the possibility of other ways of knowing.

As atheism operates within naturalism and entirely depends on it it cannot admit the possibility of other ways of knowing.

...In order to give a minimum amount of credibility to evolutionism, fossil evidence of transitional forms must be found at least in the tens of thousands, but preferably in the tens of millions.

I challenge you to provide just ten separate examples of transitional forms.

Quote# 42499

Our pastor made it clear from the beginning that he is all about Jesus, and that everything he teaches is from the Bible. It's nice, because we're a "semi-mega church" -- many mega churches take on the Joel Osteen model of acceptance and prosperity. Ours does not. We've got a great band and lots of programs, but the center of our church universe is Christ.

I think that the general perception around our country is that if you believe in End Times and talk about Biblical prophecies pertaining to the Rapture or Trib, people think you're a nut job. It's so sad.

I also think that the Rapture and Trib force people to listen/know that it's all about choosing sides -- you're either with Jesus or you aren't. The bulk of our population is that "universalist" mentality -- everyone is saved. So by bringing up the End Times and Rapture, you're contradicting their peaceful, happy, all-accepting doctrine of faith.

I'll pray for them all...

If a woman is pastor, I do not go to that church. I also steer clear of "co-pastored" churches. At the churches I have attended, Pastor's wife sometimes plays piano, keeps nursery, or sits near front with her family. She never gets up to speak in services (only praise reports when prompted and the like).

[In response to a comment, which he deleted, wherein someone challenged his attack on evolution claiming that Scott doesn't have a degree in science and hence has no basis to launch any attack.]

Therefore, I ask “Should You Trust Someone Who Thinks that He Is a Hairless Ape?” On first thought, any human claiming to be an ape is crazy, but instead this is allowed by many. Should anyone change their opinions to that of beasts as those claiming to be beasts would have everyone do? They promise them freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption. Do not such beasts claim everyone to be ignorant? Do they not claim that simple understanding is not sufficient, but that one must be affirmed by them, apes, on paper to have achieved a right level of understanding?

bbullock 903,
4 years ago or so I was moved to consecrate some oil and with prayer dribble it (from a mustard bottle ) as a spiritual boundary around my former church. My belief was that a spiritual hedge was created by doing this. I do not know that anything happened to stop demons from coming on the property of the church but I do know that things burst wide open no long after with the lose of our pastor (went to jail for molestation) and subsequent political jockeying and finally the installation of a very Godly pastor. I erect a hedge of protection around myself, family and others by calling on/applying Jesus' blood to people. God placed a hedge of protection around all that Job possessed. It appears that the demons were stopped at the door of Mount Olive Church as there is a hedge around that place. All of us should be encouraged by the testimony of the exorcist in knowing that hedges do stop demons.

I prayed over all 3 of my kids and my wife in this manner. My wife would be too frieked out if she were awake. As far as Christian music, I have played Christian music for a few years in their room and mine, but that didin't free them, it just gave him another good night of sleep. I want them gone and my son free from their wicked influence. He has heard voices, evil laugh, seen shadows, seen things move, seen things that weren't there. Hopefully, whatever was harrassing him is gone now. He came in my room one night and heard me (as I slept) tell him to pick up mom (my wife). He picked her up a bit and saw a necklace. The necklace moved across my bed and then he heard an evil laugh. It could have been my voice as I slept as I am oppressed. They like to bother him when he comes in my room. They manipulate my voice when I sleep to scare him. They growl at him.

My point is that you can cancel their legal rights to torment your children. When they are sleeping, say over them, I command any demons or unclean spirits attached to my son/daughter to leave now in the name of Jesus Christ. I remove anylegal rights that you have as I am his/her father/mother in the name of Jesus Christ. You MUST leave now, go in the name and blood of Jesus Christ and NEVER return.

Dominating in headlines was sad news of children found eating another child's head! Yes he was found! He was witch and I'm not sure what happened to him that he was found. A little boy of about 12 years eating another child's head? Sad enough

Just to inform you Church need to stand! Mother of Child cried a lot as she saw the head of her beloved daughter! So sad even to write
I cannot go on just that is enough!!

Let's pray for that poor mom! For comfort of Holy Ghost
This is serious church! If Only that mom have received Jesus the story would have been different! Let's preach the word to unreached that they know how protected are children of God through Blood of Jesus

COQUITLAM -- A Coquitlam priest is returning his Order of Canada after abortion activist Dr. Henry Morgentaler received the same award Tuesday.

Father Lucien Larre, who founded the Bosco Centres for emotionally disturbed and addicted adolescents, said he'd rather return the honour rather than be associated with Morgentaler...

Larre, a priest with the Archdiocese of Vancouver who runs Bosco Centre in Coquitlam, received the Order of Canada 25 years ago.[for his work with troubles youth]
...
in 1992, a Saskatchewan jury convicted him on two counts of physically abusing children in his care at Bosco Homes and acquitted him on nine other charges. Larre was sentenced to one day in jail and paid a $2,500 fine for one charge of common assault and one charge that he forced pills down the throat of a teenager to teach her a lesson about drug abuse...other psychologists have questioned his methods and the quality of his work. Last November, the college held an extraordinary hearing and suspended his registration pending a disciplinary hearing because it felt he posed "an immediate risk to the public."
