Message reported: It's my personal belief homosexuality isn't a choice. If it was, why do so many homosexuals try to repress it and fight it? I'm not saying it isn't some sort of disorder, I'm just saying I don't believe it's a choice.

About your brother, I'm sorry to hear about his rejecting Christ, but it's his life. Would you like it if he tried to convert you to his religion? It's okay to want him to come back, but I'm very big on not pushing loved ones away. They could leave, and never talk to you again.

Man, you really must love to jack-off... are you trying to find every bit of way to justify this nasty habbit? I went down that route before, I tried to find every possible way to justify that smoking is ok. Turns out that I found a demon that was causing me to smoke... sounds like to me that you have a terrible "jacking-off demon" in you. Quit deffering yourself from what's true. Do you want me to cast out that demon for you?

Yup, all demon possession is actually epilepsy. Epilepsy inherently causes people to scream at the top of their lungs and curse God any time His name is mentioned. Epilepsy just hates the name of Jesus, did you know that? It's in all the medical journals.

Look. If all you're going to do is parrot whatever you've read on your favorite "I h8 Jeebus" site, you can post that garbage in your own gallery or journal. I don't have time to personally debunk every myth that comes down the pike, especially when the person pushing the myth has no genuine interest in receiving an answer.

There's nothing well-established about evolution. It falls apart more every day while creation science improves.

If you were a Christian you would believe God's Word, which says this of creation: [link]

God's Word hasn't changed and neither will my position. You can't call yourself a follower of Christ and salad-bar your way through everything he says, picking out the parts you like and changing the parts you don't. If you don't believe the first few words of the Bible then put it away. You're not ready for the rest of it and you're certainly not ready to sell out to God and fight in his army.

Another big part of my life is the supernatural/spiritual realm.I believe 100% in demons/devils/unclean spirits etc. demons are real. period. People may not believe it BUT
its either Not real..or REAL.
There is proof they are, look at the many unexplained behaviors of a possessed man or woman. If that is not a demon what is it...someone with mental problems? When some have no medical history of mental problems. Is it drugs? When their is no trace of drugs in their system. Or are they faking? No, to many people IN THIS WORLD fake then.

As I was saying there is evidence they are, but there is not evidence that they are not. When I say evidence. I do not mean "scientifically proved" evidence. There have been thousand upon thousands of witnesses. Just like there was a witness to a tornadoe or to a crime. But many are not witnessed by doctors, but by pastors and members in the church. my father helped a man who was possessed and he not know it. He was dealing and messing around with witchcraft I think he was wiccan.

But only through Jesus and being filled with the holy ghost can they cast out devils. If not then the bible says that the devil will either not come out, or it will come out and enter into the one who is rebuking it without the power of the holy ghost inside of them.

[Quoted on PFLAG: An email sent in response to a constituent’s letter about the Equal Housing and Employment Act currently being considered by the Ohio legislature to protect the rights of LGBTs in Ohio.]

[T]his is a dangerous and misguided bill. The bill is not really about people being denied rights to basic needs, but it is about promoting acceptance of an immoral lifestyle. As much as some people would have us to believe otherwise, this country was founded on Christian principles. One of those long honored principles is the tradition of holy matrimony. One man and one woman joined together in a union that goes as far back as Adam and Eve. As our society has gotten further from that standard (not just homosexuality, but easy divorce, cheating on a spouse, etc.) we see a continued collapse of the basic building block of society the family unit. As that traditional family erodes, we see more sexually transmitted diseases, kids without parents, heartbroken people and I believe a host of mental and physical illnesses. . . . rest assured I can not support a bill in any way promotes or encourages the homosexual lifestyle.

For future reference, you have a choice to be gay. I have heard many stories about people being straight but after a break-up or whatever reason they go gay. Its messed up. Also for your information pudelgrl, the atheist you are, if God don't exist in your little world then how did bacteria evolve? Then how did whatever made that evolve, evolve? How did the whole solar system get created without God? If the bible has been translated my people after people and it get messed up on the way how come the signs are coming true? You do realize that all your science baloney is made up my people and they write all this fake scientific stuff and they brainwash you into believing this garb! That is what makes me upset. Let’s not argue over what you call a gay person. I call them a fag and if they don't like it they will have to get over it!!!

A couple of you stated that you have seen the looks on others faces and know that it is a dieing world...what I have notice lately is dieing America. (Is that selfish to think of where America is versus the world?) I find myself increasingly heartbroken over the loss of my country. America was so good. And I feel so honored to have been chosen to live my life here. Yet, the past two weeks as I attended my youngest neice's band concert and my oldest neice graduation...I cried. I cried for our way of live that seems to be slipping away. The loss of the America I grew up with, the values, our stregthen, our faith and our goodness is fading away and something else is taking that place. I know that America has never been perfect but what an honor and gift to have lived my life in this amazing place. It breaks my heart to see the way we are changing, the less proud we are of our country as a whole, the less we stand for our Christain heritage...the more the tarnish emerges. So sad. My sister kept looking at me..."are you crying again???" Yepper! All I could think about is how long before, we can't stand and say the Pledge or sing the National Athem...or those millions of other little traditions that make up the fabric of our American lives?

[Question: Creationists: when did SN 1987A explode?]

Well, since the world/universe is not much older than 6,000 years,we could say that it may have exploded anywhere within that period.
Also, it depends. How do evolutionists determine when a star explodes? Since they are obviously not at the site of the star, so how can they know exactly how far away it is simply by looking in a telescope? Or do they just make a wild guess? I would assume that they would extrapolate based upon how far away it is, then divide it by the speed of light, but there are a couple of assumptions that have to be made -
1) How do they know how far away the star is?
2) Is the speed of light constant?
3) Evolutionists' dating methods of ANYTHING are based upon their preconceived, faulty geologic column. Any data that doesn't fit this preconceived system is thrown out - even if the data is factual.

If you can tell me what methods evolutionists use to date the explosion of a star, then I can tell you how a creationist would determine it. It all comes down to interpretation of the data.

Is anyone saying same-sex couples can't love each other? I love my children. I love my friends, my brother. Heck, I even love my mother-in-law. Should we call these relationships marriage, too? Marriage is and always has been more than the acknowledgment of the love between two people.

FALLUJAH, Iraq — At the western entrance to the Iraqi city of Fallujah Tuesday, Muamar Anad handed his residence badge to the U.S. Marines guarding the city. They checked to be sure that he was a city resident, and when they were done, Anad said, a Marine slipped a coin out of his pocket and put it in his hand.

Out of fear, he accepted it, Anad said. When he was inside the city, the college student said, he looked at one side of the coin. "Where will you spend eternity?" it asked.

He flipped it over, and on the other side it read, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16."

"They are trying to convert us to Christianity," said Anad, a Sunni Muslim like most residents of this city in Anbar province. At home, he told his story, and his relatives echoed their disapproval: They'd been given the coins, too, he said.

I've been saying that God is trying to get our attention for years, since back when things started heating up in the early part of the decade. Unfortunately, I think people's hearts are hardening rather than turning to God. I've been praying that the disasters in China and Myanmar will be opportunities for God's people to turn hearts. I pray the same for the disasters here in the US.

[Question:Why do theist reject the idea of a non-created universe and then say it was created by a non-created god?
]
Your logic is flawed. Creation is a time issue. God was acting before time when He created the universe.

God exists outside of time. Since we live in a universe of cause and effect, we naturally assume that this is the only way in which any kind of existence can function. However, the premise is false. Without the dimension of time, there is no cause and effect, and all things that could exist in such a realm would have no need of being caused, but would have always existed. Therefore, God has no need of being created, but, in fact, created the time dimension of our universe specifically for a reason - so that cause and effect would exist for us. However, since God created time, cause and effect would never apply to His existence.

[How is christianity the "one true religion"?]

Alright, I'm only 15 so my grammar might not be great but everything I'm about to say is total fact about the bible and the christian religion. The Bible has the most Archeological evidence out of any holy text in any other religion, Archeologists even use the Bible as a reference source to locate things, and evertime they dig where it says there is something, they find something! Also Every holy text has atleast one hundred prophecies but did you know that the Bible is the only holy text where ALL the prophecies in it other than revalations(which is set in the future, at least thats what most christians believe) have come true. Also about Jesus the reason we believe that he is the saviour is because he fulfilled all the prophecies that were made about him from more than a thousand years back, even ones that he could have no way to fulfill himself, like where he was born or how he was born.

The miracles camn also be proven true. They found the city Jericho a while back, you know the one that the Jews marched around and then the walls fell OUTWARD and then they walked in and burned everything, and Then God said that no one would ever lie on that spot ever again? Well when they found Jericho they noticed that the walls had in fact fallen OUTWARD, and when they walked inside the city they saw that all the grain had been burnt. Now let me tell you something, it would have been totally impossible for a little nomadic group for the Jews to topple the walls of Jericho, not to mention sneak into it and then topple it, cause they didn't have any equipment to do it with, and it had to have been them who had done it because we know they got past Jericho, and that they had no allies to do it for them. and also something else, since Jericho was toppled no one has built over the city to live there! the new Jericho they built is built a few miles away. Thats why christians believe what's in the Bible.

In another sickening move, Gov. David Paterson (D-NY) just announced within the last hour that the state of New York would now recognize gay marriages.

I must say that I am VERY disappointed and deeply saddened by this. I support civil unions, but I do not and will never support or recognize a same-sex marriage.

This makes 3 states I could never live in (Massachusetts, California, and now New York).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The nation's foundation is the Family unit. Divorce is but one enemy of marriage and the others are the gay and lesbian lifestyle and the educational system.

One is and always will be, fought on the home level, divorce.

Sense there seems to be a concerted effort to make a God forbidden lifestyle law, it is not the Church that has drew the line of battle in the federal realm but the gay community. It is our duty as believers to meat the enemy at the battle front or let the enemy overrun our bulwarks (homes). Sense it is in the Courts, State Legislature and Congress then so be it, the battle must be met.

The Educational system continues to undermine the family with its glaring, free sex education, anti God, anti creation and pro socialist indoctrination.

We indeed have a three front assault on the traditional Biblical one man one woman family in this nation and we must fight it on all three levels. Do not lay your armor down my bothers and sisters, the battle is for our children.

Then they are not married, as marriage always has been defined as a union between one man and one woman IN THE SIGHT OF GOD.

People can find just about anything offensive - it doesn't mean that there's even the slightest logical reason for them to do so
I agree!

In their mind it's logical enough to cause them to be offended, and thats what matters. If the producers would avoid mocking any religion none would be offended. I am sure there are many other ways they can introduce humor into the show, as i noticed they are doing that but they are mixing it up with religion humor, including taking passages out of the bible out of context who some believe including myself, it's The Word of God. Why so personal?

Religion is very personal with some people, as we both know some kill in her name. Hollywood needs to avoid attacking christianity and all other religions by all means. The producers have left me the imprssion they are purposely using these types of shows to entertain the secular "non-Christian" masses despite knowing it will offend the Christian minority.

Us Christians are thought to "turn the other chick" and Hollywood knows our lack of response to criticism (unlike the Muslims who behead anyone who mocks their religion) Therefore they allow it because it makes most people laugh, such as yourself who might not find mocking any type of religion offensive as some of us Christians do.
