Imagine if a jumbo jet 747 crash landed on an island and all the survivors, 100 men and 100 women, heard a news report that major worldwide earthquake killed all every man, woman and child (even the newscaster died after making his last broadcast). It was up to the crash survivors to repopulate the world, they were the only people alive in the whole world. The island was huge and they had plenty of water and food to sustain their lives for generations to come, but there is one caveat. All the survivors were homosexuals.

How many generations would these people be able to survive? Would they be able to repopulate the world? The answer is obvious. Humankind would die out when the final crash survivor died because those who practice the homosexual lifestyle cannot reproduce. In other words, the homosexual lifestyle is destructive to mankind!

[Selfish halfwit would choose superstition over daughter's life:]

Why I’d let my daughter die before allowing her to have a blood transfusion.

Rebecca Whelan adores her 13-month-old baby daughter Reese -- but she would let her die before giving permission for her to have a blood transfusion.

"One day when she's older she might look at me and ask 'would you have done that to me?' I would have to tell her yes.

"If she chooses not to take up my beliefs and is upset with me for that, it would be very sad -- but I have to stand by my faith.".

<snip>

Put in her shoes, Rebecca says that she too would prioritise her faith over the life of her child. The moment she learned she was expecting, she made an appointment with her maternity hospital, the Rotunda in Dublin, and told them categorically that she did she want her life, or that of her baby, to be saved by a blood transfusion, in the event of a medical difficulty.

they didn't have any written language. they didn't even invent the wheel. they didn't have horses or iron or bronze. they were ignorant savages by definition. as were my european ancestors before either rome invaded or they were baptized. they were also human beings who had equal dignity with their european counterparts.

more advanced cultures and religions always win in the end. europeans had the duty to civilize and evangelize ignorant savages as did the apostles when they went to baptize all nations.

NO "religion" can ever be truly sure they are going to heaven. Muslims and such have to do so many good deeds.. problem though: they never know how many, how often and such. Nobody paid the price for their sins in their "religion" so they have to make up for their sins with their good works. Well, if that's so, who makes the rules on what is good enough? Who makes the rules on which ones are the worst ones? Society? No, God does. God has Ten Commandments to tell us. Even Muslims know the Ten Commandments and realize they can never be good enough. ONE LIE sends people to hell (all liars will have their part in the lake of fire). ONE of any sin sends people to the fire.

So, basically, those "religions" will do no good on Judgement Day. That's one thing I've asked people who say, "well, I'm a Baptist and go to church sometimes" - I said to this one guy, "well, you walking into a Baptist church doesn't make you any more a Christian than it does me if I walk into McDonald's makes me a hamburger... so, when you stand before God on Judgement Day, what will you say... that He should let you in because you're a Baptist?" That got his attention; he walked off with a tract and realized he was not heaven-bound.

Anyway, my point is, many will say to Jesus on that day, "Lord, Lord" (they will actually CALL HIM LORD!) and He will say, "depart from Me you workers of lawlessness."

There are going to be a lot of "religious" folks who think they are going to heaven ending up in hell.

Satan is so powerful that he can cause people to hate you, persecuate you, and even kill you. Yet, even with all of this, not one hair on your head can be touched if God does not permit it. Where then is Satan's power seen? It is seen in the will of God. Satan can only do what God permits him to do.

See how powerful God is?

When Specialist Jeremy Hall held a meeting last July for atheists and freethinkers at Camp Speicher in Iraq, he was excited, he said, to see an officer attending.

But minutes into the talk, the officer, Maj. Freddy J. Welborn, began to berate Specialist Hall and another soldier about atheism, Specialist Hall wrote in a sworn statement. “People like you are not holding up the Constitution and are going against what the founding fathers, who were Christians, wanted for America!” Major Welborn said, according to the statement.

Major Welborn told the soldiers he might bar them from re-enlistment and bring charges against them, according to the statement...

At the July meeting, Major Welborn told the soldiers they had disgraced those who had died for the Constitution, Specialist Hall said. When he finished, Major Welborn said, according to the statement: “I love you guys; I just want the best for you. One day you will see the truth and know what I mean.”

Quote# 38289

First of all, evolution isn't science. It's a fervent ideology held by many scientists and non-scientists, who pressure dissenting scientists into towing that line, through withholdings of grants, terminations of employment, and general intimidation for simply thinking different.
(Might as well declare that all Aspies should be NT's, because NT's run the world. It's a stupid argument.)

Secondly, how can you arbitrarily say that ID "cannot be science"? You've certainly made sure to cover your bases with that blanket, if random, statement! But, are you saying that "science" (the often-flawed process by which scientists attempt to determine truth) will always be too stupid to recognize our Creator? No matter how obvious He may choose to make himself in the future, "science" will remain blind to him? The head-in-the-sand argument is a cop-out, plain and simple. It's intellectual dishonesty, no matter how terms are parsed and twisted and an attempt to try and put God outside of the realm of evidensibility.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Struggling to confront a worsening homicide rate, the mayor of Birmingham asked pastors and citizens Friday to don burlap sacks and ashes Friday in an Old Testament-style sign of biblical repentance.

Mayor Larry Langford said his "sackcloth and ashes" rally at Boutwell Auditorium was inspired by the Book of Jonah, where residents of the ancient city of Ninevah wore rough fabric and ashes as a sign of turning away from sin.

A pastor who helped organize the rally said Langford purchased 2,000 burlap bags that will be handed out at the event.

"We believe things begin to dramatically change when the mayor, or leader, calls for prayer. I don't think there's ever been a city called to sackcloth and ashes," Green said.

Since he took office last year, Langford has held three prayer rallies as a way of addressing crime and violence. Bibles were handed out at one of the events.

"This city needs to humble itself," said Langford, a professing Christian.

When I saw the news of those freakish tornadoes hitting in February that caused such havoc, the first thing that crossed my mind was, “What on earth are we doing to Israel?” God made it clear we are not to go against Jerusalem, God’s holy city, or tamper with His holy land. But our American leaders are, and I dread to think of the consequences as the “roadmap for peace” is negotiated... Watch the storms increase every time we double-cross little Israel. I believe we are just getting a taste of what is coming.

Wow,
Ben Stein once again proves he is a genius. Getting Dawkins to admit that he thinks ALIENS seeded the earth, rather than accepting the possibility of Intelligent Design was precious.
The imaginary underpinnings of atheistic bias are revealed for the foolishness they are.
I just ask a simple question.

If ID is considered "religion", and is inappropriate for academic purposes, why then is "atheism" (like as professed commonly by those like Dawkins) exempt?
Since the one portrays and insists that God does NOT exist (without conclusive proof, making it a subjective judgement), why is it then not allowed to similarly insist that God COULD exist, without conclusive proof?
Especially in the United States, where Atheism is legally protected and EQUIVALENT TO RELIGION, and therefore should have the same RESTRICTIONS as "religion"?

It's good you have the KJV. It's translated from the Majority Text. It's reliable so it can be trusted. Evidence shows the N.T to be the most historically reliable ancient text.
