[In a thread entitled "Submission vs. Controlling"

In our culture, when someone calls someone else "controlling," there is no need to see their hearts and minds. They are rendering a judgment on someone else - and that judgment is negative. The term "controlling" has a wholly-negative connotation in our modern, feminized society.

I have simply made two points. 1) What feminists consider to be "wrong", no matter how culturally accepted, is not likely to actually be wrong upon inspection of the word of God. 2) Anyone who labels another person as "controlling" is judging them personally - NOT making a judgment that the word of God makes.

I can label you a "liar" or "adulterer" and not be "judging you." The Bible tells us both of those things are wrong in God's sight and we all know what they mean. I cannot call another person "controlling" without personally judging them because being "controlling" is not something that God has defined as a sin.

So I am not a judge, merely a reporter.

On the other side of the same coin, there IS archaeological evidence regarding places and people mentioned in the bible. America is begging for God's wrath. The blood of millions of aborted babies, left gasping on counters to die, amongst other atrocities is crying out to God. (Look up Jill Stanek on the internet). I am from the Chicagoland area, not proudly, where this nurse worked at Christ's hospital. She gave a gruesome detailed testimony to the IL state senate depicting the horrible atrocities she had witnessed while working there. Horrible late and partial birth abortions, etc. Obama, after hearing this testimony, still voted in favor of all types of abortion to continue. He and many others have a lot of blood to account for some day. It takes a very cold heart to hear the stories this nurse tells and then turn around and vote to continue it. It sickens me. Then in his acceptance speech he thanks homosexuals-because after all they voted him in to. Thumbing homosexuality up in God's face is not advisable for our nation. See: Sodom and Gomorrah--Old testament. I don't think our economy beginning to fail is a coincidence.

God can no longer bless a nation that has kicked Him out. Look at the Israelites. Every time they turned away from God disaster struck.

Not to prophesy gloom and doom, but Pray People, Pray.

But her kids began questioning their beliefs based on what they heard at school. When they came home with Bibles, Bell and another parent, Lucille McCord (a member of the Church of Christ), decided it was time to take it up with the school board.

The two women were met with hostility. Bell recalled that board members told her “they did things the way they wanted to. If I didn’t like it, that was my problem.” Those at the meeting chanted “atheists, go home!” and one school board member handed out homemade placards to the crowd that said “Commies Go Home.”

That was just the start. After contacting the ACLU and filing a lawsuit, Bell and McCord became the subjects of hatred and even violence. Bell’s house was burned down by a firebomb. McCord’s 12-year-old son’s prize goats were slashed and mutilated with a knife. Bell was assaulted by a school cafeteria worker who smashed her head repeatedly against a car door. (School authorities praised the cafeteria worker, and she was forced to pay a $10 fine and Bell’s hospital bills, community residents raised donations on the assailant’s behalf.) McCord and Bell were both mailed their own obituaries.

I'm not surprised that they lied about the percentage of gays. They also lied about how heterosexuals were just as much at risk to contract HIV as the homosexuals. The VAST majority of those diagnosed can be attributed to homosexual sex. Next on the list is HIV drug users (I think).

Anyway, it has to do with the way the virus itself is transmitted. Not to be offensive (and I apologize if it is) but the very nature of homosexual sex makes the virus most easily transferred that way. (Make any sense?)

They lied about heterosexuals being at a high risk in order to get funding for research and treatments and such.
