Quote# 33573

[. Why would the Holy Spirit mis-guide the translators to employ the use of mythical creatures like “unicorn” for wild ox, “satyr” for “wild goat”, “cockatrice” for common viper, when today we know what the real name of these creatures is?]

You do not know the real names; remember that the dictionaries were corrupted in the 1700s. These creatures mentioned in Scripture are real animals. For instance, the changing of dragon to hyena is based on the constellation of Draco. The entire western world sees a dragon there, but an obscure tribe of nomadic Bedouins sees a ring of camels surrounding a baby camel to protect it from hyenas. On that flimsy thread, modern dictionaries change dragon to hyena.

Why is it so hard for people today to realize that what we are coming up against is what appears to be the most important election ever. Friends the end is coming, and I for one IMHO feel that how we decide on our next leader will speed up the flame on the already lit wick attached to the inevitableness of His return. We have a chance to make a stand as Christians. We must take a hard look at the delegates, and their beliefs. I could care less what any one says about separation of church and state. First and foremost we have one leader, that being God, on which our country was founded. We seriously need to take a good hard look and find a true Christian that will put a stop, or at least give it one heck of a try to stop God from being removed from us.

And in my book.. Hussein Obama, is not a Christian, and I feel sorry for us all if he gets his foot in the door.

It is not known whether God created oil when he made the earth 6000 years ago, or whether oil and coal deposits were generated during Noah's flood 4000 years ago. It does not mattter. What does matter is if you don't believe that God created the earth 6000 years ago, you are going to Hell.

A poll conducted last year showed that two-thirds of Americans believe in creationism, or the theory that God created humans at a single point in time, while 53 percent believe that humans developed over millions of years from less advanced forms of life -- the theory of evolution.

[In reference to an article about ISP's getting ready to implement anti-piracy technology]

Yes. Not only that they'll probably ban religious web sites like rapture ready, voices of evangelism. For instance, If we instant message something about anything that involves Jesus, God, the bible or anti-Bush, three possible things might happen.

1. your entry will be rejected.

2. your connection will automatically be terminated.

3. Spyware gets into your computer even if you didn't download it.

If all else fails, we'll use Freenet to bypass their filters.

["If you honestly think that the depiction of dinosaur-like creatures in art indicates that dinosaurs and humans coexisted..."]

It has been proven to rational, intelligent people, beyond a shadow of doubt, that dynos and humans have coesisted.

["do you also believe dragons must have existed because they are frequently depicted in Asian art?"]

Most depictions of 'dragons' in asian art are stylized plesiosaurs; few question that observation. As to whether they indicate that humans and plesiosaurs coexisted, there have been several carcases of plesiosaurs dragged up in fishing nets, and photographed. Links to those photos have been posted here many times in the past.

Your belief system is based in denial; life is tough.

["But they do recognize that almost all progress in civilization comes from science and a President who doesn’t believe in evolution (or atomic theory or acids and bases or electromagnetic theory or any core science) would never be able to set the right priorities."]

This is one of gondramB's standard strawmen. Eliminating evolution would in no way impact science, and gondramB knows it. Nothing of value has ever come from evolution or its promotion. The vast majority of scientific advances have been by, or at the direction of creationists, and without them we would all have to work much harder.

If we could remove the search for the imaginary 'glue' that connects evolution to science from the various government budgets, we could cut taxes by 50%.

Abbas: What would you say to the man who says that his thought life is private and doesn't affect anyone else?

Fred: Well, I would say that's crazy. There's nothing in the Bible that would lead us to believe that. Christ would never agree with that. I know that some of the times when I was right in the very act of looking at, not pornography, but lingerie ads or some of those things, my wife would run down the stairs because she had just had a dream where she's being chased by Satan and she couldn't find me in the dream to protect her. I really think that the effects of my sin were causing my protection to be taken off of her.

["When you or your family members go to the doctor, do you get antibiotics developed to treat drug-resistant bacteria, or do you insist that because evolution doesn't exist you should be just fine with the drugs from twenty years ago?"]

Frankly, I would never take an antibiotic; there are far safer and more effective treatments, but all that aside, nothing that you mention above has the slightest connection to evolution. You are propagandising by attempting to mix evolutionism with biochemistry.

[If God gave us the KJV as an inspired translation, why would God not repeat the process again in modern language in each language?]

The question assumes that the A.V. was written in common or Elizabethan English. It was not. The English of the A.V. was specifically designed to receive the words of God in a language that could be understood by English readers. It is a pure language, untainted by secular meanings.

Quote# 33526

All elements in the universe (periodic table) get their properties based on their combinations of 3 specific sub-atomic components. Protons, Neutrons, & Electrons. No element has the same combination. (ie...Gold has 79 protons, 118 neutrons, 79 electrons)Carbon (man) has 6 protons, 6 neutrons, 6 electrons. [666]. This will be the number in which the Anti-Christ will be identified by. And because a clone does not have working sexual organs, this explains why a "cloned" Anti-Christ will not have need for a woman.

How do you think this was written in God's word about the anti-Christ being a man that his number will be 666? When the knowledge of protons, neutrons, and electrons was not even known? It is because the word was written just like God said. It was inspired by God, to where man could write it without flaw. And the knowledge was God knowledge, not the knowledge of man.

I have a friend who witnessed a dinosaur fossil find (in a road widening cut) over a decade ago where an Indian arrowhead had directly damaged the bone. At that time he wondered why they were excavating so quickly. They claimed that it had to be a fraud. The local university, being evolutionists, hushed it up. This goes on all the time.

That guy who has the museum in Kentucky showing dinosaurs and people living together is right. The dinosaurs had heavier bones, so when they died they sank deeper in the ground than the people, who had lighter bones. And the carbon deeper in the ground is older than the carbon in the upper zones, so therefore when the bones suck up that carbon it will give a false reading on the bones' age.

That's the coyote theory and you can take it to the bank.

For all those who claim there are thousands of religions, it seems there's only 2 major worldwide religions to consider - Christianity and Islam (Muslims). The next religion, Hinduism, is mostly an Indian religion and the fourth highest, Buddhism, isn't even a religion. It would seem unlikely that God would only reveal himself to some isolated group of people and ignore the rest of the world.

Therefore, people have no excuse. It's clear God exists (only the 2%ers, the atheists who probably hate God, disagree) and there's really only 2 religions to consider. I think everyone should examine Christianity and Islam to see which is most likely to be true.

1.”The estuarine crocodile is 23-feet long, as reported in the Guinness Book of World Records.”
That’s a pretty big dinosaur! Or at least what the preachers of evolution, claim is the nearest relative of the dinosaur(along with finches of course!).

2. The Komodo Dragon “The largest verified wild specimen was 3.13 meters (10 ft 3 in) long and weighed 166 kilograms (365 lb)”.
That could easily be considered a “terrible lizard”(you know a “dino-saur”). Not only is it big enough to kill you with its mouth or tail, it’s even venomous!

3. Longest Anacondas on record are argued between 32ft. 9.5in. and 42.5ft. That is large enough to eat you, a friend and your pets. Hmmm. A giant reptile!

The only reason these aren’t considered dinosaurs is because they contradict the current state/world religion.

[after being questioned on the logic of a particularly violent hadith involving a pregnant woman who blasphemed and was stabbed in the stomach]

Someone, (lets say a Jew) has highjacked an aeroplane with 200 people on board (lets say there all women, and lets say their all pregnant) and it is likely that the highjacker intends to fly it into a building. Would it be logical to shoot down that plane? Or let the highjacker to what he wishes? Is there logic in killing these pregnant women?

On all such forums Creationists are outnumbered. This means the Atheists and Evolutionists can mostly control the direction of the discussion, and this direction is then always some scientific detail. They lead us onto the scientific terrain and slaughter us there. We can possibly not win against Atheists and Evolutionists with scientific arguments, but we can win with logic.

Obama is the Anti-Christ
He is uniting people behind a false image of hope. He is an expert orator who says he will solve problems but he doesn't tell us how.

He is a Judas Goat that speaks against the war in Iraq and Iran yet recommends the invasion of Pakistan.

He will run with Hilary the Great Whore upon his back as his partner.

He will speak peace, but their will be no peace.

The people on the ships will sit on the ocean and witness the middle-east burn.

A great earth-quake will strike Jerusalem destroying the Dome of the Rock. Israel will try to rebuild the Temple. Syria, Jordan, Saudi-Arabia and Kuwait and the other countries of the Middle-east will attack Israel.

All Armeggedon will break loose.

I suggest the following motto for Obama.

A vote for Obama will be a vote for the Second Coming of Christ!
