How can we tell when epilepsy, or the symptoms of epilepsy are as a result of a real medical reason or from a demonic influence as stated in the Bible?

Quote# 25656

I have a question to all atheists. How do you think the world came to be? How do you think people, stars, earth, animals were made? Really there are only 2 choices. Either God created the heavens and the earth is 6 days OR an asteroid hit the ocean and we came out of slime. But evolution doesn't make sense because the earth is winding down not up. I think it takes more faith to believe that man evolved from slime and a bang. But it is Christians who society views as crazy. Kind of ironic isn't it. We believe God made the universe and the world views us a strange. But it is not crazy to think man evolved from slime. I guess my question is how do you think the world was formed and why? It is important to know what you believe and why. Most people don't. I believe that God made the world. I also believe every word in the Bible.

[Creationist explaining evolution to atheists:]

Well I am sorry if I feel that evolution is silly. I mean come on. Do you even think about it. Lets see a long time ago in a galaxy far far away. Just kiding. Really a long time ago earth was a molten rock. As its heat dissapted oceans became filled with primordial "SOUP" This soup presented ideal conditions for the orgin of life. It all started with a simple cells. Eventually this led to multicell organisms? Right which turned into fish. OK After a while these fish got bored living in water and wanted to get dry. So as the little fish struggled so hard to get ashore. Finally by george it developed cute little legs. And became things such as frogs, salamanders, etc.... Ok now things are moving up in the world. So then Amphibians evolved intor reptiles. Then reptiles into mammals and birds. Well Darwanism claims that fish turned into land creatures by evolving little arms and legs. Now let me ask a question. If that were true wouldn't there be fossils of fish with arms and legs??? Yet we do NOT find that. In fact all organisms appear in the fossil record fully formed. There are no transitional stages.. SO WHY IS THAT???? I am sorry but the truth is that fossil records do not support evolution. What about the Coelacanth? Wasn't that supposed to be extinct for like millions of years according to evolutionists? Then in 1938 a fisherman caught one near Africa. After examining the coelacanth it was found to be 100% fish. It had no amphibian traits. Still evolutionist claim that amphibians turned into reptiles. Again no fossil records....... There is no fossill record of reptiles being transformed into birds. OK SO NOW WHAT ABOUT THE HORSE. Horse sequence. This by the way is discredited. Eohippus actualy turned out to be a rodent. Horse evolution would want a person to believe that a gradual changes occured from 4 toed fox size creatures to todays much larger one toed horse. And I say again there are no transitional forms...... And by the way Archaopteryx was a true bird. And again there are no transitional stages here. Just a fully formed Archaopteryx. Evolution is not visible in the fossil records. And science is supposed to be based on observations??????

[Later:]

I was trying to explain the silly ideas behind evolution. Charles Darwin had the IQ of a horse fly.

Quote# 25645

Once upon a time there were two perverted sexual practices. One's name was Homosexuality and the other's name was Pedophilia. And, they used to have a grand time together.

Until one day, Homosexuality said, "I don't like being an outcast. I want to be normal for a change."

And Pedophilia was like, "No! Don't leave me."

And Homosexuality said, "Listen...the time is ripe for me to at least ATTEMPT to be normal. People are less with the religious morals and more about the 'two consensual adults'. Hey, in about 50 years, you can be normal too."

And Pedophilia said, "I'll never forget you. We can always have a little bit of fun together, can't we?"

And Homosexuality said, "Sure. Any time."

Pedophilia: "I love you."

Homosexuality: "I love you too."

And, thus, they split up only to get back together for the occasional fling.

THE END.

Our rewards in heaven are based on how we lived our Christian life - i.e. our "works" if you will. Those who have no works will have heaven, but no crowns to cast at Messiah's feet. How sad will that day be for them? Others will have crown upon crown to offer their Messiah! What a happy day that will be!

(Poll:
I'll contact Fox News and let them know I am displeased
Yes 50.00%
No 50.00%
I will support the United States by not using CITGO fuels.
Yes, I will refuse to support the enemies of our great Christian nation! 75.00%
No, I want to support the enemies of the United States 25.00%)

For the last few years, we have enjoyed an honest view on the news, a view without an agenda. In fact, many even believe Fox News to be patriotic in the world war II style of journalism in many ways. This week, I have personally viewed some advertisements on Fox News by Citgo. In case you do not remember, Citgo is an oil company which is wholly owned by the nation of Venezuela. The people of Venezuela, as a whole, are not evil. They are, however, being lead by a terrorist-friendly, America-hating dictator named Hugo Chavez. You may recall: this man came to the United Nations and railed on our great Christian nation and compared President Bush to Satan.

By allowing the advertisements, Fox News is directly supporting an enemy of the United States for the sake of a few dollars. I would like to ask you to contact the Fox News Channel and ask them to pull these advertisements. I would also like to ask you to covenant with me to not use the services of Citgo Stations.

I attempted to speak to someone in the Marketing department of FNC, and I was told that 'no-one was available to take a call'. I called at about 9:30 AM on Thursday morning. Obviously, that was a lie.

The e-mail message I am sending is:
QUOTE
Over the last few days, as I was watching the Fox News Channel, I was offended that the Fox News Channel would allow advertisements by Citgo. As you are certainly aware, Citgo is wholly owned by the nation of Venezuela. Because Citgo is wholly owned by the nation of Venezuela, profits into that company directly support an enemy of the United States, Hugo Chavez.

I hope you will take action immediately and report on this anti-American action and help us get FNC to pull these advertisements.

I was down in Florida recently, and as usual, had to stop by a Wal-Mart eventually. It was horrible. I heard Spanish more than I heard English. When ordering at their deli, the lady couldn’t understand me. I had to interrupt to employees jabbering in Spanish to ask for some help finding something, since their Wal-Mart layout was different. I walked past one worker who was leaning on his stocking cart and talking on his cell phone.

We’re headed for a war, if you ask me.

I'm implying that abortion is no better than this abomination. Do you think an unborn child feels no pain when its head is ripped from its body and the brains are sucked out with a tube? With appendages getting ripped off etc.

This is done so the woman can go out and serve the sex god with another man -- the pleasure they get at the painful expense of the unborn.

I've always been amused when mutations are raised to support evolution. By definition, and strictly speaking mutations are simply changes, however I can't think of any BENEFICIAL mutations. Only mutations which cause a negative impact...But as I understand it, evolution wants to say there are good mutations. I'm just not aware of any. If you know of some, I really [sincerely] would be interested in reading about them.

Well, aids is a direct result of sexual sins. Mainly started with homosexuals. Now people are "bi" and that's how it spread. I wish it only effected people like that instead of, others that don't ingage in such sins. But, with 31% of children being born to unwed mothers, oppesed to 11% in 1970. sex ed doesn't seem to be doing what it is supposed to be doing. It's not the schools job to teach sex, it's the parents job. Shools need to start teaching children how to read, write, ect.

well I really don't know..i 've never attended a public school.. i do kno like Nicole said, it may be a southern thing, they are very leaniant with u bringin u'r Bible to School UNTIL it is somethin that is offensive to them.
I know at one school nearby, in 9th grade, the history book is all about religion, there are pages upon pages of different religions, but a paragraph on Christianity. Basically they are givin the kids a choice on what they want to believe. My cousins mother in law is a high school teacher, and every morning she would give a devotional every morning, an thispunk rocker, who obviously didn't kno wat he believed went to th principles office an threw a fit about it, (prolly only b/c he was convicted of his sin and needed to get saved or get right) and the school board came to her..
Next morning, she said, we are gonna continue to have our devotions, an if you dont like it, leave.. WHOOO HOOO.... Go mrs. Linda!!!

America needs God, an I wonder what its gonna take for us to Realize it, I mean it took a terrorist attack for us to start putting, "ptay for america" Banners everywhere....
God be merciful unto us!!

Followers in Young Earth creationism have a different set of beliefs about the Earth. The Bible states in Genesis that the entire earth was formed in six days. Young Earth creationists believe, as Biblical chronology suggests, that the Earth was formed in 4004 B.C. Mainstream scientific journals discriminate against this point of view for "lack of evidence", despite large amounts of Biblical evidence backing this theory.

But after being born again, I knew immediately that homosexuality is wrong. But the deception to believe that its okay and normal is very intense. Not to mention the fact that there is very strong support for people to "come out" as homosexuals. If they do come out, there is a huge sense of family, community, support and solidarity. I think this is actually a great "selling point".

It's not rocket science but here it goes: the penis was made for the vagina and the vagina made for the penis and that's how you were conceived.

You know that feeling in your gut when you hear about beastility -- that it is wrong and sick? You have that feeling because in your heart of hearts you know it is wrong. Many have the same thoughts and feelings about homosexuality until they reach a certain age where they are brainwashed by society to think it is okay.

If there is nothing wrong with homosexual sex, is there anything wrong with bestiality? But animals can't consent you say (neither do they consent to being butchered so you can have your hamburger, but oh well) What if an animal such as a dog engaged in behavior that indicated consent? For instance, I have a friend who's dog tries to hump her everytime she is on her period by thrusting around her crotch and legs. I kid you not. So would it be wrong if they made doggie love?

What does homosexuality and bestiality have anything to do each other? You see, many find homosexuality as "unnatural" and immoral for reasons such as there is absolutely no procreative value and their certain body parts are not biologically compatible. What are your reasons for thinking it would be wrong for my friend to make doggie love with her consenting dog, assuming you do think it is wrong?
