[when asked if it's ok to read the Bible in French]
Unless you can find a trustworthy person to help you choose, I would avoid it. Just as there are many versions in English, there are different versions in French (and other languages). If you are not VERY careful, you'll end up in a bad version.

If English is your primary language, stick with the KJV.

By the way, there are people out there who are translating the KJV into other languages. Though the KJV is a perfect translation, translating the KJV into other languages (second generation translations) creates imperfect (in fact, flawed) translations.

(Here's a couple nuggets from the Sneak Peek at the Creation Museum site)

In its attempt to denounce the old age of the Earth, it noted examples of gaseous versus solid planets and their rotations around stars, as well as how "planets and other bodies" can bend light to make it travel faster through space toward Earth--which would refute claims that the Earth must be old enough to see the light of stars many lightyears away.

...

As soon as you walk into the Starting Points room, you are greeted by a rather menacing looking dinosaur, standing next to a sign about the evolutionary idea of dinosaur fossils and the creation idea of dinosaur fossils. Instead of the dinosaur dying, slowly rotting away, leaving behind only solid, hard material, and gradually becoming a fossil (if future paleontologists are lucky), the creationist section of the sign attributes the dinosaur's death to the flood, and the development of the fossil is attributed to a rush of sediment (a LARGE rush of sediment) from a surge of flood water.

...

On the opposite wall, a church facade is seen being demolished by a wrecking ball bearing the title "100 Million Years." A window of the church is blown out, and a church congregation dully listens to a modern testimony reflecting the horridness of current society.

Hmm, yes, they are still out there. In fact, now there are several groups.

I will just caution you by saying this
If anyone who contacts you wants to spend a lot of time talking about me, then be wary.
If they teach you doctrines that are in any way contrary to the Word of God, even though it may seem that they have Scripture supporting their position, then be warned. I can twist Scripture to support abortion, sodomites and many other things. But these positions are wicked, as are many of their 'doctrines' They may come to you with sweet words - but remember what God said in Gen 3:1: Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made.
Who are they?
Louis and his group From what I know of him, Louis has a sincere heart, but has become clouded with bitterness and is off on minor points of doctrine. Becasue he did not like our response in one area, he has allowed his bitterness to fester and now makes a point of discrediting me.
Jeremy and his group These people are nuts. Please, don't drink the Kool Aid. They are completely off in many points of foundational doctrine. They even think that displaying a cross in any way is a sin.
If you think you may have been contacted by one of these people, but you are not sure, please let me know. Like Satan, they are subtle and they are liars. I may be able to confirm your suspicions or help you fend off the little devils.

If you recieve a post from someone who claims to be a Teens-4-Christ staffmember, and they are not a member of the Administrators group or the Moderators group, please contact me immediately.

The reason I'm going to go into the Video gaming industry is to turn the video gaming world around. I can't wait for the illuminati fools who created this game to come against me! They're going to be in for quite a surprise!

And when I reveal how the occult world works, from the testimonies I have heard from this place, the entire world will see that being a Christian is much better, because even though those Satanic punks have powers, our God is much stronger and much more powerful then they are! Praise Yeshua for his goodness!

Anybody who tries to stop this will have to answer to Yeshua/Jesus, and I don't think they will like it when they fail against him. Bring it you Satanic Punks!

Three Types of Spanking

Now that I've criticized several common approaches to spanking, I'd like to detail the types of spanking I do approve of.

The Training Swat.
This is usually a painless pat with the open hand to the diapered bottom of a little one, to help him make the connection between "no" and what he is doing. It might also be used to ambush an otherwise well-trained child who is just beginning to give in to a temptation. It generally means: "Pay attention, I'm talking to you," or "Stop and do what you know is right." If the child does not respond positively to a little pat, it can be made a bit firmer. One swat should be given at a time with a pause between each, until the child obeys. Take your time, and combine with outlasting and a verbal "no".

The Reminder Swat.
This is usually one firm swat to the clothed bottom of a toddler who is deliberately disobeying. It should be repeated after a pause, if the child continues to refuse to obey. This type of swat can also be used to ambush a child who is doing something he knows not to do, perhaps when he thinks you are not looking. A paddle may be used if the parent prefers, or if it is needed to make a bigger impression. You do not need to spank hard when using a paddle. In fact, much less effort can be used to achieve the same results.

The "I Mean Business" Spanking.
This is usually one to perhaps three stinging swats to the clothed bottom, delivered with a firm hand or a paddle. This type of spanking should be reserved for repeated misbehavior or some serious offense knowingly committed by an older child. The offending child should be required to bend over and place their hands safely out of the way on a chair or counter. If the child refuses to cooperate, the parent should outlast until the child does as he is told. Then one to three swats are given. A lecture and perhaps other discipline measures (like tomato staking) should usually accompany this type of spanking. "I Mean Business" spankings are not for wee ones.

"All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness."
- Hebrews 12:11 (NAS)

Who Or What Killed Ryan White

[Are you referring to Africans who ate monkeys who were infected with the virus which causes AIDS, which was then transferred into the human population and spread primarily by sex?

You DO realize that in Africa, by far the largest number of people with the disease are heterosexuals, who spread the disease to each other by heterosexual contact.

Or are you possibly referring to African-American women, who are the single highest risk group in America for contracting HIV?

(God must love lesbians, then — they have the lowest rate of HIV infection of any group!)]

No, it is clear that the only victim I am talking about is Ryan White.

But I do appreciate your empathy with these other victims of the homosexual lifestyle.

I would also like to mention that I also refer to all the other innocent people who got AIDS from blood transfusions.

"well, it rained on the earth for billions of years" (is that not correct according 2 evolution's theory?) great now what about the fish? "well it rained on the rocks 4 so long that they became liquified and...." oops. it makes no sense!!
5.) proven fact (scientist have also proven it): LIFE CAN NOT COME FROM NON-LIFE!! in other words: u can't get life from something that is not alive. and last i checked rocks r not alive!!

it just keeps going!!...

You can analyze the motivations of LIBERALS until the cows come home. It all boils down to the same Anti-American philosophy, and the same Anti-Freedom philosophy! LIBERALISM'S roots were spawned along with the rest of mankind's basest instincts - during the Dark Ages! (Communism and islam, just to name a couple.)

You can dissect, bisect, and tear apart every LIBERAL'S flawed arguments and they will still boil down to their Communist, America-hating, freedom-denying, liberty-hating, Totalitarianistic, simplistic propaganda.

The bottom line is this...and, once you fully understand this, it'll make your life less complicated......LIBERALS HATE AMERICA.....THEY ALWAYS HAVE, AND THEY ALWAYS WILL, AND THEY WILL STOP AT NOTHING UNTIL AMERICANS BOW DOWN AND WORSHIP AT THE ALTAR OF GOVERNMENT-SANCTIONED DEATH AS WAS PROMULGATED BY AMERICA'S ENEMIES DURING THE COLD WAR AND AS WE ARE STILL WITNESSING IN THE LANDS WHERE COMMUNISM AND ISLAM STILL DOMINATE!

LIBERALS HATE HITLER, BUT THEY ADORE AND WILL NEVER CRITICIZE LEFT-WING AND RELIGIOUS-CULT MASS MURDERERS SUCH AS: STALIN, POL POT, HO CHI MIHN, FIDEL CASTRO, CHAIRMAN MAO, DANIEL ORTEGA, HUGO CHAVEZ, IDI AMIN, ROBERT MUGABE, YASSER ARAFAT, AYATOLLAH KHOMENEI, HEZBOLLAH, HAMAS, OSAMA BIN LADEN, al-QAEDA, VLADIMIR PUTIN, LEONID BREZHNEV, NIKITA KRUSCHEV, CHE GUEVERA, MUQTADA AL-SADR, THE IRA, ISLAM, ETC., BECAUSE THOSE DESPOTS BELIEVE/BELIEVED IN THE SAME PHILOSOPHY THAT LIBERALS ESPOUSE - THE DEATH OF FREEDOM, THE DEATH OF DEMOCRACY, AND THE DEATH OF INDIVIDUAL LIBERTY!

LIBERALISM = THE DISEASE/RELIGION OF THE UNEDUCATED, THE LAZY, THE SPINELESS, THE INTOLERANT, THE IRRATIONAL, THE ANARCHIST, AND THE GULLIBLE LEFTIST!

LIBERALS HATE AMERICA....but they don't dare live anywhere else because they are...DARE WE SAY IT?....COWARDS!!

WE MUST ERADICATE THE LIBERAL, JUST AS WE MUST ERADICATE THE REST OF THE ENEMIES OF FREEDOM, LIBERTY, AND DEMOCRACY!

Jefferson, Paine, Franklin ..... Deists??? Not so fast. While these men were non-conventional in their beliefs I don't believe they were "Deists." Jefferson called himself a "Christian." Paine believed in an afterlife. Franklin, regardless of his lustful youth, called for prayer at the Constitutional Convention. These are not the actions of Deists! Jefferson was a member of a Bible society and sought to promote the Gospel. He attended church in the capitol. The vast majority of the founders operated within the bounds of a Christian consensus. That consensus produced the Declaration of Independence, a very non-deist document. Both Paine and Jefferson were attacted for being less than Christian but were they Deists?? Lets see some evidence.

Quote# 25831

There is nothing more stupid [in my eyes] than not being a believer. Not believing only brings you suffering, pain, confusion, and more. So.... why not be a believer?

There can't not be a God. If there wasn't, then how would there be a prayer language? How would we even exist?

The number one thing I'm faced with through non-believers is proof. The thing is, there is proof, if your eyes and ears are open, which unfortunately, most non-believers eyes and ears aren't.

The most revealing form of proof is one we're all familiar with. Prayer. Certain non-believers think all that prayer is just a bad enough wanting of something [in other words, determination] that it just comes. But as we all know, it's not like that. God knows what's best for you, and doesn't always give you what you pray for, or say "Yes" to your prayers. For example, if you're praying about some guy to like you, God may answer you by showing you that the guy doesn't like you back, or that he doesn't want to date anyone, or anything like that.

But when you pray for someone to receive salvation, and they end up seeking salvation like a month later, that's God acting. Unfortunately, non-believers are usually so blinded that they don't notice this.

Another form of proof is the prayer language, otherwise known as Tongues. The night I got annointed with Tongues [April 14th], all my doubt was destroyed. It's not always like that, but it certainly was to me. True faith comes through spending time with God and reading the Bible. But once again, non-believers don't know that.

They also don't know that the answer to all of their questions are in the Bible. I was talking to a friend of mine on the phone one day, and looking in my Bible to answer some of his questions, and I didn't have a clue how easy it was to answer the questions he had that I thought would be difficult to answer.

And another thing. Why would there be a Bible if there was no God? The Bible isn't just a book of guidelines. It's the key to living a good life, and to bringing others happiness. The Bible reveals things to Christians and believers that they need to know to become a better Christian. It also reveals how to bring non-believers to Jesus and how to bring yourself peace, and much more.

The Bible isn't a lie. These people wouldn't have written it if they didn't want other Christians to believe it. It wasn't just written by one person; it was written by several. The Bible is like a testimony. It's like advice, coming from real people at real times in the world. It can also be considered as a warning to non-believers--of what will happen if they don't come to Jesus on time. The Bible is another form of proof, right in front of your eyes.

There is another one that I want to mention. It's Jesus Christ. Christ isn't actually His last name. The name "Christ" means "The Annointed One". I'm very sure that not very many people are aware of that... at least not as many that should be. Non-believers will ask, "What is Jesus annointed to do?", and every Christian should be able to answer that. Jesus is annointed to save the souls of everyone on this earth!

To all non-believers or non-Christians: there is proof. You just have to open your eyes.
