Quote# 21900

By the tens of thousands, Christian teenagers poured into proudly liberal San Francisco on Friday for a two-day evangelical extravaganza at which they would rock, pray and provoke progressives, who accused the movement of working toward a theocracy endangering "San Francisco values."

BattleCry, a cross between a rock concert and a war rally, began with a showdown on the steps of San Francisco City Hall as Christians and progressives judged one another while accusing each side of intolerance.

Eden West, a 16-year-old Christian, said of a man holding a sign proclaiming he was both gay and Christian, "If he really loved God, he wouldn't be gay."

"We only get this welcome in San Francisco," said Ron Luce, founder of Teen Mania, the evangelical ministry that hosts BattleCry events across the country. "It makes the culture war clear: There are different sets of values in America."

"Why do secularists and humanists who have an agenda promote it and not get called intolerant?" Pastor Keivan Tehrani asked earlier this week. He brought about 25 children from his Iranian Christian Church in Sunnyvale to the musical event. "We need our voice."

Christians are finally speaking up, which may be making people anxious, said David Hasz, director of Teen Mania's Honor Academy, which offers training in leadership and character building. "For too long, the church has sat with their mouths duct-taped, in the closet. We've allowed Christianity to become a private, personal value. We don't believe it's private. We believe it's a worldview."

I believe many demons can be transferred into children at birth, at the time of delivery from the medical staff who handles the baby. It is believed that Homosexuality imay be transferred from a homosexual person as they lay hands on the baby.

Other transference of demons through sexual abuse as a child, and so one.

This will open a can of worms!

Of course the public will accept evolution..its the only side of the 'facts' they are allowed to see!
When i was at school, they told me the bible was the most boring book ever, and only taught me how the earth formed through evolution. I am soo glad God took me out of school at an early age so my mind has been less corrupted by 'scientific facts'

All scientific theories can be 100% prooved by working backwards.

Take an insect, put him in blender, put the resulting homogenous biochemical soup in a container, create condiitons the same as the primordial soup and wait and see what happens. Nothing will happen.

Take the same insect, suffocate him to keep him intact. Put him in a jar and wait to see what happens. Nothing will happen.

In the first experiment you had all the building blocks for life in a random pattern. Did life spontaneously start?

In the second experiment you had all the building blocks for life in a highly organised pattern. Got a jump on evolution. Did life spontaneously start?

You are probably saying "what a stupid experiment", well that is the very basics of the evolution theory in nut shell.

After the flood the atmosphere of the earth was dramatically changed . Before the Flood the earth's atmosphere had a "greenhouse" effect because of the canopy of water surrounding it. Three major things happened after the Flood: the canopy of water was gone, harmful rays of the sun entered the atmosphere, & man and animals began eating meat. Earth experienced many atmosphere and climate changes, and because of that many animal species - including dinosaurs - died and became extinct.

I got stoned and decided to experiment to see if I could find hidden meanings in the bible while stoned. I woudl immediately come down and be unstoned when I began to read. I would be totally moved by what I read and want to be a Chrisian. Then I'd get stonned again and repeat the process with the same result. This went on about five times then I decided never smoke pot again because if God was real he was trying to tell me I don't need pot. I grew to realize I like prayer better. I never smoked pot since.

I was taking my daughter to her regular check up and as we were walking towards the building a woman and her child were walking in as well. The odd thing was she looked liked a down and out person (the way she was dressed) with the most happy and exuberant look on her face. She said to me, "Jesus healed me of my Hepatitis C!".....and something else that had to do with an std, I can't remember what. As she looked at me I could see that she was of sound mind and full of such joy that she wanted to share her news with everybody. She added, "He can heal you too if you just ask Him, He will do it!". I smiled at her and said how awesome that was and I was so glad for her.

{Help we're being oppressed!}

It looks to me like the media and almost everyone in Hollywood spends at least 80% of their time trying to figure out more ways to attack Christians. They figure if they do it often enough, Long enough, and loud enough, they can get the majority to come around to their way of thinking. They know what they are doing and it is only going to get worse. I think we need to prepare ourselves for more frequent and hostile attacks on our faith as we get closer to his return.

Satan and say 665 of his highest and most wicked demons (NEPHILIM) ) Enter Into the dead and dying Martian Alien Bodies (SONS OF GOD) and animate them. Now Satan and his demons can function in human form, well a larger version of the human form. Satan could have repaired any damage to the Martian Spaceship and THE DEVIL IS NOW AIRBORNE, HIGH TECH LUCIFER!

It is also possible that Satan and his fallen angels found a crashed Spaceship buried in the ice of the north pole. In either scenario, the devil would be in possession of both alien bodies and super advanced Alien technology.

I just left my local assembly for the same reason, and am very sad. A "new direction" has blown in and now it is all about "unconditional forgiveness". The word "repent" has been excised.

Let me tell you this, there will be satanists at the last day that will not be much surprised at their upcoming suffering.

There will be more atheists, "convenience" agnostics, pagans and just plain hedonists on judgement day. They will be unplesantly surprised.

There will be Muslims greatly shocked by their great suffering: an eternity with 72 virgin women. All of them equally unhappy feminist lesbians.

But nothing will compare to the shock and gnashing of teeth by those who have amased fortunes on earth by the misuse of His Name.

Read Matt 22 and shudder, you who have a form of godliness but deny The Power by preaching a meek and mild Jesus.

If the Pharisees were taken aback by the Saviour that came as a lamb, how much more shall today's ministers be cursed when the Lion of Judah shows up instead of the sacrificial lamb.

The FEAR of God is beginning of wisdom. While it is true that Perfect Love casts out fear, as the Gospel fulfilled the Law, it starts with FEAR. Not awe, not reverence, not "an appreciation of the numinous", but abject terror.

Lol I like what your friend said. Of course we know that evolution is a heap of rubbish. Darwin might have gotten hit on the head when he thought that one up. No, I think it had more to do with the fact that he was so anti-God he had to come up with something that didn't have God in it.

God is a myth?! Billions of people down through the ages disagree with you. Perhaps you should change your ways and repent; God will forgive you and not punish you eternally. If you continue on your present course, you will have to explain to God--in person someday--why you blasphemed Him and His ways.

Respectfully,

A Sincere Christian

Quote# 21844

While I am not a medical doctor or psychologist, I know that the weight of sin which has not been confessed and dealt with in someone's life can also cause depression. I also know that being without the Lord in your life will cause depression. In fact, one of the jobs of the Holy Spirit is to be an encourager. While a Christian can be discouraged and depressed, it is far more likely to see depression in the unsaved.

So, what is your walk with the Lord like? Specifically, are you saved? Was there a time in your life when you realized that you needed the Lord in your life, when you realized that without the Lord, you would go to hell? Was there a time when you gave your life completely over to the Lord and surrendered to Him and His will? I am not asking if you have been baptized or if you do good things, I am asking if you have given your life to the Lord and asked Him to save you.

If you are saved, what is your walk with the Lord like? How much time do you spend reading the Bible and praying?

"I was sitting at a red light, the light had just turned red,and I looked up at the beautiful sky,the clouds were absolutely beautiful ,and I started thinking about what it will be like the day we're caught up in the clouds to meet Jesus, and I was just talking to Jesus about how I cannot wait to finally see Him and be with Him,and I started wondering whether or not we would hear the trumpet, and I was wondering what it would sound like... and all of a sudden I heard this very loud car horn(the light had turned green),and I just about jumped out of my seat!

I realized,as I started driving again that maybe Jesus was showing me just how sudden and unexpected it will be,just like the car horn that, unexpectedly jolted me back to attention,so will the moment when He calls us up to meet Him in the clouds. I felt that day, that Jesus let me see that He too has a sense of humor, but at the same time can use it to teach us things."

A reply from JesusLover_2002:
"that is just too funny! And wonderful how the Lord Jesus gets our attention like that..."

I think it is a crying shame the godless left has take our great, God founded country to the depths we are now at. There should be a revolution among Christians in our Jehovah-centered country (as well as some house-cleaning in congress). [Dude, if you want to serve a God who isn't completely in sync with the loving, merciful acceptance of Jesus Christ, well, I'm left feeling sorry for you.]

The God who died for our sins at Calvary is the same God who drowned billions of people in the Flood, burnt Sodom with fire and brimstone, and commanded the Israelites to slaughter every man, woman, and child in the Promised Land. And you have no right to question His Holiness.

[Excuse me? And you were yelling at me for allegedly defaming your character in faith? You just defamed yourself.

"God's Perfect Hatred" is certainly a term that you made up yourself, and indeed is something similar to what we have heard from the mouths of Islamic hardline fundamentalists, who look for any reason to do away with non-believers.

The term "perfect hatred" is a sick oxymoron. It's like saying "divine holocaust", or "blessed murder". The two do not go together, and it reduces God's concept and wisdom to a holy serial killer. And that is]

Christalee,

In every act of sin, we casually kick aside the perfect Law of God. We virtually remove God from the throne of power, and place ourselves upon the throne. Sin is rebellion! It is, in fact, no different than the rebellion of Lucifer and his angels. That is why God hates sin. Based on scripture, I would have to conclude that God also hates certain types of sinners. Perhaps that is why God "gives them up." (Re: Romans 1)

Sin cannot be unpunished. Unless a sinner's sins were punished in Christ, God will pour out His wrath upon the sinners themselves. That is why Hebrews 10:31 says,

"It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God."

His Hatred is Holy!

Quote# 21853

The simple fact that the Pro-choice side is in support of killing innocent unborn children pretty much sums it up. My little bit will do nothing to wipe the tar from the walls of the Abortion/pro-choice movement. My simple acknowledgment of a simple mistake I made will do nothing to legitimize the pro-choice movement. The pro-choice movement was founded on lies from the very beginning. By the admission of one of it's very founding members the abortion movement has been built on a foundation of lies from their deliberate inflation of numbers of illegal abortions to the consistant bagering of the Catholic Church, to their outright lies about the so-called poles they suposedly took and sold to the press. And yes if the pro-choice movement had its way it would have simple picketting declared as a crime. The one truth that really needs to stand out is this simple one. Abortion is the killing of an innocent unborn child. That is what needs to be acknowledged! That is what the world needs to hear from the Pro-choice movement. I will not apologies for trying to save lives nor will I acknowledge anything for you. You claim you are sick of the false accusations and dedeitful language. Well I have news for you. THE ENTIRE PRO-LIFE MOVEMENT IS SICK OF THE ENTIRE ABORTION/PRO-CHOICE MOVEMENT THINKING IT IS RIGHT AND GOOD AND AMERICAN TO TAKE THE LIFE OF AN INNOCENT UNBORN CHILD. WE WILL NO LONGER COMPROMISE NOR WILL WE APOLOGIES. WE ARE PRO-LIFE AND WE ARE HERE TO STAY!

[An excerpt of DD explaining the Round Earth conspiracy]

How Does The Conspiracy Benefit?

This is not easily answered, but I've taken some insight into this and made some estimates on how the conspiracy could be making money:

(...)

Display of Power:
Some people are control freaks. Maybe they get a rush from showing that they can change everyone's mind about the true shape of the Earth.

Embarrassment:
So, the government messed up at a really bad time to mess up, and they've been pooling all of the already-angry tax-payers' money into research that eventually led to a less-than-exciting discovery: The Earth is flat. Everyone was wrong. Millions (probably billions) of dollars of money that didn't really belong to them had been basically tossed down the drain for research of the round Earth, when, in fact it was flat.

So, instead of angering people and possibly even sparking a revolt of some sort, they made up some stuff. And you know how lies tend to roll and get bigger and bigger until they're inescapable? I'd say a worldwide conspiracy is that concept...to the max.
