Quote# 7695

[Apparently blaming Republicans for Hurricane Katrina]

Now we are all learning what it’s like to reap the whirlwind of fossil fuel dependence which [Mississippi Governor] Barbour and his cronies have encouraged. Our destructive addiction has given us a catastrophic war in the Middle East and--now--Katrina is giving our nation a glimpse of the climate chaos we are bequeathing our children.

In 1998, Republican icon Pat Robertson warned that hurricanes were likely to hit communities that offended God. Perhaps it was Barbour’s memo that caused Katrina, at the last moment, to spare New Orleans and save its worst flailings for the Mississippi coast.

[On masturbating with panties]

If you're unmarried, I don't see how you can masturbate without lust if you're using a piece of intimate apparel. That's just getting aroused for the sake of arousal rather than dealing with arousal as it happens. Certainly unwise and most likely (also certainly?) sinful.

Quote# 7697

Since the facts do not prove evolution, since the fossil record does not show any transition from one species to another, since "scientific" dating methods have been proven unreliable, let us remember that for those who desperately desire to reject God, evolution is a religion of last resort. If there is no Creator, there can be no sin, and no need of a Saviour.

Once or twice a week is not excessive at all. Most guys masturbate around once a day (some more, some less). Again, as long as you are doing it within the boundaries God has set (no porn, etc.) and setting your mind to fulfill His glory, then you can't go wrong!!

[Commenting on a play titled "Menopause the Musical"]

I would just like to say that I have about had it with people talking about this kind of thing in public. How did the Hebrews handle the monthly thing? They had the women go off by themselves and just deal with it. They did not have television commercials featuring blue liquid, red dots, and so forth, they didn't talk about "hot flashes," nor did they compose "Menopause the Musical" and make the men watch. If it was meant to be a public thing, women wouldn't have been built the way they are. Think about it.

My grandma commented on all these celebrities having perfect babies well into there 50's. That's why, they don't carry the imperfect ones. It's in all the new pregnancy books as well.

Darwin was a sicko, to the core, he has done and his work continues to do evil. His work has messed up the minds of millions. He has tried to down play the power of God, these type people are fools, and unless they repent and come to Christ. There is a place for them.

Has anyone seen the commercials for this new movie? It [a remake of the Exorcist] looks very disturbing and I feel like it might harm people who see it. It paints a terrible picture and everyone inside the theater will be immersed in that for 2 hours.

The commercial just came on as I type this.....

Come soon Lord.

[On the animals getting back home after the flood]

Also after the flood and especially during the subsequent ice age there were many natural land bridges available so there would not neccessarily have been much swimming involved, and of course different animals have in the past been rafted from one location to another on mats of floating vegetation, of which there would have been an abundance after the flood.

(Responding to an article about Popo Bawa, the most feared spirit-monster of the Zanzibar spice islands)

I had a demon spirit attack me in this way where I was frozen. Even my voice didn't work and I started to rebuke in the name of jesus in my concience mind since my voice wouldn't work. My voice came back quickly and I started to rebuke it aloud and the thing left quickly.

[Showing he totally missed the point of a christian evolutionists article.]

Morton's Demon is ... a descriptive term. Such a demon does, in fact, exist - you'll get no argument from me on that. What I will argue very strongly is that you wish to attach that demon to YECs without realizing that your compadres (Naturalists) have owned almost exclusive rights to the demon since day one. In fact, Satan owns the Patent on your demon and Naturalists have purchased a licensing agreement for use of that Patent. Your desire to attach that demon primarily to YECs is ... ignorance and despicability all rolled up into one.

I pray that I'm wrong, gr, but I sense that you are one small baby-step away from voluntarily removing the cross from under your name. One or two "key findings" by Naturalists, I believe, might do the trick for you.

FOX news is reporting that once the winds reach 50 mph, police and other emergency personell will stop trying to help people.

Dearest Heavenly Father, we pray first for your good and perfect will on earth as it is in heaven, and second for the safety of those in Katrina's path (if it is within Your will). [emphasis added]

Quote# 7671

When we were hit by 3 hurricanes last year, I didn't think God was directly judging us for anything, rather I saw it as HIM preparing us for what we are getting ready to take others through. [...]

When all of our trees fell on the guy's house next door did we judge them? When a glass dish was carefully set on my roof, did I see that as a sign from God (YES) that HE is in complete control? Now I know we can be at peace knowing that HE can calm the storm and take us where HE needs to take us.

Praying for those who are about to experience this storms fury and that they are conversing with Jesus Christ. Everyone who does not know HIM needs to cry out to him, or this storm will toss them about until God gets their attention.

Ive found that Logic changes every few decades as new things and ideas are devloped. Logic some times is Illogical. For example...LOL...take Spock from Star Trek who constantlly acted illogical or found things that "should not be" according to Logic. 1000 years ago the thought of Space flight was Illogical.

Modern science uses the phoney idea of neutrality of science as a shield against the assertion that they are pushing an essenially religious notion of creation in the big bang theories. Thus we are now spending billions of dollars in the religious quest for life "out there" in space, which, I am sure produces howls of laughter from the Throne of HEaven.I hope and pray that scientists get enough integrity and honeesty going to admit the truth - that which they are fond of searching for, is that they, too are on a religious quest for origins.
