Bob, you are merely an irritant, at this point in time. The point of this thread was to show SCIENTIFICALLY the evidences for a global flood. The reason for this is YOU and your haughty, arrogant dismissal of ANYTHING the Bible states.

Choke on it, for all I care. You refuse to see the merits of Dr Brown's [hilariously unbelievable hydroplate theory] findings? Fine. Continue to be the ignoramous that we've come to "love". The only thing you're continuing to exhibit to everyone here is that you are an UNscientific man. You don't care about science, you care about your religious worldview remaining intact.

Your lame attempts to refute what's been posited have even been called into question by others who believe the ToE, for cryin' out loud....sheesh, get a grip on reality, for once in your life, will you please?

be careful what you listen to...

i was watching gloria copeland a few nights ago and she was saying that what you set before your eyes and listen to with your ears reflects whats in your heart and vice versa. i mean what you watch affects your heart.

so likewise, listen to godly music, or at least...if you know its wrong..dont listen!

it could affect your relationship with god as it affects your heart or even your blessings from him.

You're going to get a BIG kick out of this... My sons (9 and 11) were bugging me to watch Harry Potter movies when a neighborhood boy wanted to let them borrow his. So, I sat down and told them what they were going to be seeing and what God says about it, and told them that they should pray for their hearts and minds to be protected and that God would give them discernment about what was good and bad about them. Anyway... they thought the first movie was cool, but in the second movie, or was it the third... I don't recall... anyway, there's a scene, when they get to the 'wizard school', there's a choir performing a 'witch song'... bubble bubble toil and trouble, all that jazz... and at the end, they sing, "Something wicked this way comes!" My 9 year old son's jaw hits the floor and he turns the movie off. He says, "MOM! You were right!! They're not even TRYING to hide it anymore!" Gotta love that Holy Spirit!

How can you believe in no god if there is proof of some spirit out there.

The reason is there is wege [Ouija] boards. I don't know if i spelled it right, but i think yall know what i am talking about. Idk if you guys believe in those. but I have heard some pretty convincing stories. IF there was no God then there would probaly not be life after death

I decided to come to this religion board again today, just to see what some of you are talking about. And let me say this, I am truly ashamed of almost all of you.

I see questions like 'If Jesus did this...then why is this?' Or 'if God really exists, then why is this this?' Shut up with your godless blasphemy!!! Im sick of seeing it, not only here but in real life. God exists, and I know all of you know this you JUST CHOOSE TO DENY IT. I know most of you have come to see the wisdom and intelligence, and goodness that Christianity brings forth, but you hide that knowledge behind your hatred of life, and deny what you know is good and true.

Quit questioning, start accepting. You think you look smart when you question everything? You don't, you look like an ass. God himself is frowning as he reads what you write and is probably thinking, what the hell is wrong with this person?

Accept the gospel, quit living in the agony which is a life of anti-God hatred. Embrace that which is good, and quit thinking the onus is on God to prove himself...THE ONUS IS ON YOU, TO PROVE YOURSELF WORTHY TO MEET GOD AGAIN.

Do not forget my words, for I have come here to bring some of my sheep back on the right path. I am a shepherd, and although I realize I am stern with all of you sometimes, this is for your own good. Your souls are at stake and I will try everything I can to see that my brothers and sisters do not end up in hell!

"Seeing is believing". Someone has to capture the moment a living thing transforms itself into a completely new lifeform. A caterpillar can transform itself into a butterfly. But this animal does this regularly for every new-born member. Evidence from dead things can only be guessed at. Evolution is a guessing game for 'biodetectives'. If man did evolve from the ape, then every new-born ape would transform into a man. It would be metamorphosis but not evolution.

Keep this in mind though, I will only respect true Evos. A true evo 1) has to be a vegan. Otherwise they go against their belief system and become a Dahmer. and 2) Must have sex, at least at some point, with animals. They are just waiting for the crossbreed. And, they're legit too. The theory says as much. If numbers 1 and 2 are not followed, you are not an Evo.

THE SUPERNATURAL BOTTOM LINE FOR AUGUST OF 2004 IS AUGUST OF 2005! August 29, 2005 - Hurricane Katrina devastates much of the U.S. Gulf Coast from Louisiana to the Florida Panhandle, killing 1281 and costing over 100 billion dollars in damage.

COINCIDENCE?

God woke me up (3:00 AM, November 8, 2005) to say, As Elijah goes, so goes the world! God told me that Katrina happened for a reason: It was last year during the month of August that I was sending emails to people with messages God had inspired me to send. Since they decided to reject a prophet, the consequences came a year later during August.

Point 2 of this concept: We need to revamp our economic system, culture and all American laws to support this "7/70 Plan." All citizens -- 7 years-of-age or younger and 70 or older -- would be regarded as the elite in our refined society. All resources and national institutions would assure that people in these age groups would be valued and treated like "kings and queens." All other citizens, ages 8 through 69, would be identified as "Majority Providers." They would have many options to enjoy equal opportunities and shared resources. In other words, we would merge the best of "Capitalism" and the best of "Socialism" -- creating a new system that would function more like the "Kingdom of God" than a democracy.

Point 3 of this concept: We need to focus on essential Life-sustaining forces emanating from beyond this earthly dimension. Before we can educate, create, produce or achieve satisfaction in a meaningful way, "international endeavors" must be based on sound reasoning and compatibility with the natural universe. As some of you already know, God is our source, and He is our Sustainer. Without Him to inspire, guide or protect, we Americans -- along with people in all other nations -- will continue to struggle without resolution to existing problems. Remember these words of wisdom, "Without vision, people perish!"

[Commenting on 87-year-old women on oxygen tanks who sell their pills for money and chemotherapy patients who pay US$12,500 a round.]

They are in need because of how they're living, not because they don't make enough money. This part of the country doesn't have the harsh winters that MN has but more importantly this part of the country is largely rural and most people depend on wood or coal for fuel. This doesn't cost anything other than a little sweat during the summer and fall.

And before you even BEGIN to think you can lecture me about being poor, sick and needy all at the same time you need to back up and think about where I came from. I'M FROM THE SAME AREA THAT THIS LADY WAS FROM! I know first hand how poor the area is and I know WHY it's poor. It's called laziness. I know how hard it is to work a minimum wage job with no insurance and have to pay for a hospital bill. Don't even begin to think that just because I have a good job now that I was always like this, so get down off your liberal high-horse.

These people live like this because they WANT to, not because they HAVE to. I know, I've lived and worked in this area for decades and I still have family in this area. These people know liberals like hidden will try to "understand" them and will give them money without ever trying to find out what's actually going on. They're crooks and deserve to be treated as such!

The children of the angels are the neanderthal (Genesis 6); We existed before them, they have larger brain cavities, stronger muscles, they were canabolistic and very violent, the mtDNA demonstrates we did not or could not productively mate with them, nor did we 'evolve' from them. And pragmatically speaking we would have evolved to them because they were superior in every physical way. They all died off "some how" which is clearly explained by the flood;

[Talking about evolution of eye]

Just think about this, id evolution was correct, then why even create eyes at all? I mean think about it, what initially decided that eyes were so great? Srsly. Did the goop we all came from all of a sudden just go "hey, I wanna invent seeing stuff"? I mean, if initially nothing had eyes, why decide it needed eyes in the first place? Why dont we just feel stuff like trees and blind bats and crap?

Fact v. Fiction #2: Evolutionists claim that their battle against creation-science is primarily a "scientific" issue, not a constitutional question. But our treasured U. S. Constitution is written by persons and for persons. If man is an animal, the Constitution was written by animals and for animals. This preposterous conclusion destroys the Constitution. The Aguillard Humanists leave us with no Constitution and no constitutional rights of any kind if they allow us to teach only that man is an animal.

Tennesseans who claim to be Christians have never expressed gratitude for messages sent to them. Christians have not cared enough to explain why prophetic messages are ignored. There has never been one encouraging comment received or question asked. There has not been one invitation given, asking that I visit their place of worship. Now as we end 2005, I wonder if anyone will be listening in July of 2007 when silence from God during heat-making anger torments Tennessee?

Who are these rebellious souls I see burning incense, ringing bells, chanting unholy words, and bowing down to images made by man? Where are righteous children hiding on Earth in these days of perdition while false gods are stealing Truth out of the hearts of fathers and mothers? Why has the Church of God not heeded the call to unity or taken a stand with this prophet?

Have servants of Christ forsaken redemption in their zeal to compromise with the Evil One? Has power given unto loyal souls to overcome guilt, temptation, and hopelessness been cast aside in favor of pride, wealth, and fame? Has the world heard voices calling religious leaders to bend in submission to the authority of Christ? Has desire for earthly power taken precedence over the desire to humbly serve the poor of spirit in the Church of this day? It is with sorrow in my heart that I look upon the corruptible ways of this adulterous generation. There has been a falling away from the favor of God for those who seek to appease lustful appetites. The meek are being shunned to favor the arrogant; the needy are scorned, speakers of holy words are mocked, and doers of good deeds are hindered by those who slander. Did anyone believe my false accusers in 2003? Will anyone doubt that Hell is real in July of 2007?
