I have a rather unorthodox view of Hercules and the Greek and Roman pantheon, even though I'm a christian. I believe the stories about Hercules are probably based on a real person or group of people. There may have been some 'Fine-tuning' along the way, such as the evolution of the stories about King Arthur, but for the most part, his story is probably based on real events with some added window dressing.

Yes, I know what this means: those people in South America (or anywhere) that don't believe in Jesus just because they didn't hear about Him will go to hell. That's what's fair and just after all. This is not by my standards mind you, but by God's. I am not being cruel and heartless by saying such things, because God can not and will not let sin go unpunished, and if the people don't accept Jesus they must pay for it themselves.
