hhmm interesting. the pharoahs were known for not recording anything that made them look bad so that may explain why there is no evidence in Egypt. maybe all the Isrealite stuff has rotted.I mean they didn t have a lot of metal stuff. I guess you will just have to take it on faith. That s what the Mormans do when confronted with the fact that no one has ever found the tribes that supposedly lived on our continent

If Christianity is true (which it is), then Christians are not brain-washing their children, but those who live in spiritual blindness and death are the ones who brainwash their children or others.

Quote# 2375

I would do exactly what I pleased all the time [i][if God didn't exist][/i]. If I needed money, I would steal it from my shareholders or my bank. If I needed a woman, I would lie, cheat and steal to get one. And since I am fairly smart, I would probably get away with it. At least for a long time. And, if I get caught, I would lie and blame others, like the media, my parents or my ex-girlfriend. I would every moment of my life be concerned with myself and my own personal needs and desires. I mean why shouldn't I?

If I have your money that's good for me. And without God, that's all that matters. So why shouldn't I kill you, if I can get away with it? Where do you get your idea that I shouldn't? Just because poor little you may get hurt?

It does not matter to me one way or the other what people think about the inquisition. I just read what the catholic encyplodia had to say about it and I found it interesting that there seems to be another side of story. That maybe, just maybe some good came out of it.

You don't need the Bible for that [belief in the Resurrection] - common sense is all you need.

For me, the best evidence that Genesis is correct and evolution is false lies in the areas of genetics, biology, chemistry, geology and paleontology.

Do you not find it at all disconcerting that you are arguing with all the atheists [for evolution]?? As a 'Christian' I would imagine that this would throw up a red flag for you.

Out of curiosity, who made up that claim that extraordinary claims demands extraordinary evidence? Why is that so, because some human decided to make up there own rules?

So you haven't seen my risen lord and I haven't seen your big bang. You can throw proof and speculation just as well as I can to support our own view and tear down each others. what to do? wait and see who's right?

Quote# 2390

I feel that if creation is true then all of the evidence available to date should be consistent with that event. But if evolution is true then all of the evidence should be consistent with that hypothesis. Since all of the evidence is not consistent with the evolutionary hypothesis I decided to investigate the creation hypothesis, and so far I have not found any evidence that is not consistent with it.

Number one, I'm not probing because I listen to Kent Hovind. I'm probing b/c you can't provde a scientific experiment that proves the Big Bang as true. It would then become a fact and not a theory that evidence may point towards.

Yes, you or someone must be there to witness the event in order to record it. The Astronauts were there to record the moon landing. Are you not familiar with the 'scientific method'?

Quote# 2393

The theory is total speculation with no basis in scientifc possibilties. Whereas, we have written accounts of the life of Jesus Christ, and His ressurection, done by either eyewitnesses themselves or written from interviews with eyewitnesses (I'm more inclined to the former), which you claim to not be extraordinary enough evidence.... In a court of law, which theory would be more acceptable as per the full and total evidence, if looked at with no bias?

[To a pagan]How do you know that they [the gods] are who they say they are? They could be 'someone' else just lying to you for a bit of fun. If I studied someone enough I could easily get people to believe I am them, especially if they person is naive' and open to being led. If you dont believe in something you will fall for anything.
