Quote# 1973

That's exactly why it's a faith and not a science. Some things in the Bible really surpasses all the things we can understand with our logic. And still I believe it's the truth. Because the Bible tells me it's the truth. Now for every rational thinking human being, that's insane. People don't believe something, until they saw it with their own eyes, or can rationally explain it. But if you believe something because it's said, you're a believer.

Quote# 1974

The people here who believe in evolution get it wrong and errect a strawman when it comes to the 747 analogy. No serious creationist thinks that 747s give birth to baby 747s, and we realize that some modification happens with each new generation." "Why don't nonliving things evolve if the universe was formed by evolution? The very fact that Helium is immutable, and never evolves into say carbon is direct proof of divine creation and negates a universe created by a mindless process like evolution." "Why do evolutionists only quote athiests, like the people at Talkorigins? This would prove that their bias is spiritual and not scientific." "The creation model predicts a static universe, unchanging from its orignal perfect state. Look at the stars. Exactly the same place they were thousands of years ago when we first started looking at the sky." "If evolution were true, we'd see stars changing, as per cosmological evolution. But the sky looks the same always, regardless of weather or not your a professional astronomer or a layman. Thus again we see a perfect creation instead of evolution." "Why don't we see transitional forms being crated today?" "The second law of thermodynamics. Evolution has never fully recovered from the challenge of entropy." "Finally, with evolution you would expect to see society and civilization developing slowly over time. Since world history is only about 5000 years old, and since every ancient culture has a flood story similar to the Genesis account, and since early civilizations are very advanced we can conclude that a literal interpretation of Geneisis is correct.

Quote# 1975

Most Atheists at one time believed in God. Maybe they weren't Christians but they believed at least in the existence of God. Most stopped for an emotional reason, not a evidence reason. Usually they became angry at God because of some tradgedy, or unanswered prayer ect. So the basis for their atheism is bitterness and hurt, not a lack of evidence. Because of this no (NO!) amount of evidence will prove anything to them, because they haven't dealt with the anger, hurt, bitterness, and resentment. Maybe thats why it seems pointless, debating with some of you folks. Just a thought.

No I don't have statistics. I was just starting a thread and seeing where it would go fools parade. I am trying to get people thinking, not just believing what they have been told. You see, I have posted great evidence, only to have it thrown out, without so much as a thought. It gets frustrating, don't you know.

Harry Potter is totally evil. It plants the idea in children't mind that witchcraft is ok. As adults we can distinguish between good and evil, but children cannot do this. If kids are properly taught, hopefully when their adults they can distinguish good and evil. But for a Christian to allow their young child to read or watch this stuff really is sick.

KNOW YOUR ENEMY-HARRY POTTER HAS BEEN SPECIALY CRAFTED BY REAL WITCHES FROM EUROPE AND THERE WRITINGS ARE VERY DECEIVING. WITCHCRAFT IS NOTHING TO FOOL AROUND WITH. IT TEACES PEOPLE THAT THEY CAN DO ANYTHING IN THERE OWN POWER, WITH IS OPPOSITE THAN THE WONDERFUL PLAN GOD HAS FOR US. IT'S NOT BY MIGHT NOR BY POWER BUT BY MY SPIRIT SAITH THE LORD OF HOSTS-ZACHARIAH 4:6 BE BOLD ENOUGH TO TELL YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT THE TRUE DANGER BEHIND HARRY POTTER'S BOOKS AND MOVIES--GOD BLESS YOU ALL

Harry Potter is the starting to other things like tarot cards, fortune telling, and to witch craft. I'm glad so many Christians agree!! God Bless you all!! p.s. It's hard to be a good Christian parent, but we can do it!!!

Has anyone stopped to think about the other series of books that are going like wildfire? The Left Behind Series. Satan isn't going to be out done so he has counter acted with Harry Porter. Left Behind was more targeted for adults until the Left Behind Series for Kids came out. So Satan targeted the kids. (You get more accomplished by going for the kids. They will grow up to be adults that are less focused on God if you start early enough.

during the time the 'harry potter' believers of that day (Baal worshipers) were brazen and on the attack..... one hundred of God's prophets were hiding in a cave... only Elijah was brave enough to stand up to the 'fools'

Christianity is not about religion, it is all about the Lord Jesus Christ and the fact that he died for mankind. Christianity is about the truth and the kingdom of God.

The witchhunts and the crusades are nothing more than ancient history, if not symbolic myth. I dont see people going on crusades much these days. And maybe those people misinterpreted the intention of God

All the more reason to exodus government schools, as they have become indoctrination centers. IMO, no Christian family should allow their children to attend public schools.(or colleges, for that matter)

There exists today a veritable mountain of science that refutes evolutionary theory, but the political stranglehold the evolutionists maintain over the public curricula excludes out-of-hand. Isn't it neat having a monopoly of thought?

In parts of the UK high school diplomas are held back if the student fails a simple graduation test that asks the question "Is evolution real?". If they say no...no diploma for them. Evolution creates disorder and racism. Hitler believed in evolution (aryan race). I could go on forever on this, but don't have time now.

Quote# 1991

The fight against creationism being taught in the schools is satanic. The fight is designed to keep out the Word of God. Pure and simple. True "science" allows for alternate examination and postulations. Evolutionists know that if their false belief was placed beside Biblical creation and closely examined, they would have egg on their face.

This is yet one more attempt by the scientific establishment to shut down discussion about ID apart from any real debate over its scientific merits. ... That tells me that this entire resolution was ideologically driven.

If ID is ever to be established as a science, it must be established outside of peer review science. IMO, the fact, that peer review science rejects ID should be viewed as an opportunity to develop a form of science superior to peer review science.
