Quote# 1002

Arguing that athiests have a moral sense of right or wrong is complete bullshazzbute. Its whatever is "right" for you only which isn't right at all since its only about selfishness...as long as you can get away with it (not get caught in jail for it) or theres a chance you will benefit yourself at a later date...and so on.

What is right can only come from God...every action or thought that doesn't come from God really comes from your own selfishness...how is that having a moral sense of right?

However, Young Earth advocates have identified quite a few Young Earth chronometers in recent years. Currently, there are approximately five times more natural chronometers indicating a 'Young Earth' than an 'Old Earth.'

But in response, I have a little bit of knowledge of what evolution is (the big bang is associated with that theory) and it sounds corny to me. I don't know, it just sounds like some scientists can't look Jesus in the face and say 'I don't believe in you, so I'll come up with some other way to explain things'

[Responding to allegations he wouldn't accept ANY evidence because he's already decided evolution can't be real]

This is true in a way. I am 100% convinced that Jesus Christ was real, I well take God's word over anything scientists put out. Reason being, when we're all in the after life, science well be a faded memory. Something that helped us understand, but is now useless. Why should I bother learning something that well only help on this earth? God does tell us not to focus on this world

But its not stated anywhere in Bible that God appears repeatedly and then kills people. That was just an example which never happened."

"There are only 2 supernatural/spiritual entities - God and Satan. The numerous other idols and images of religons are just stone/gold/silver made by human hands. They have no life, and no intellect. Which brings me to my point, out of the 2 entities that I have brought up, if its not God, then it would be Satan.

The rape victim who does not cry for help will indicate she's actually enjoying it! Seriously, when you watch shows, a woman who is being raped will scream and shout and kick etc and not lay limp for the man to do whatever he wants. This won't apply if she's tied up, gagged, in the countryside where nobody is though.

[Replying to 'God slaughtered children. Were they evil?']

Technically yes. Because sin passed from Adam right up to them, therefore, sin was inherently present from the day they came out from their mother's womb. However, because the child's mind is so innocent and has not yet been corrupted by this world, you would find that their actions are not that appalling compared to adults - but as you can see in the news, the situation is getting worse.

Define torture. I am a father of two wonderful kids and I bet if you asked them, I would - at times - qualify (i.e. torture them). For example, when I take my sons game boy away.

You wouldn't know what love is if it wasn't for God. In fact, come to think of it. You probably don't. No wait. Your answer is probably something like this: "Love is a chemical reaction in the brain influenced by the way the starts shine on the yellow elephants in the Gnorgy solar system...yadayadayada....

Either way. If God exists, and if he created us, and if he loves us, and if he sent his son to die for us, then it would be unreasonable to assume that he would force us to love him. Then, however, we are left to love someone or something better than him. So, by all means, go ahead and do that. Nobody keeps you. Is that hell? I don't know. Maybe it's like getting satisfied sexually by five blonde virgins in eternity. If that's your thing, you will probably get it. But make no mistake. Eternity is a long time. And even getting laid in eternity is probably more like hell than heaven.

For a person to believe that God does not exist when it is impossible to prove that He does not exist is irrational because it will always remain possible that God does exist. Atheism is actually the most irrational and illogical religion on the planet.

The 8% figure is the percentage of all adults (Christian or not) who are classified as evangelicals. That number wouldn't surprise me in the least. Figures have also shown that, in many churches, only a minority percentage of people are truly saved and are active followers of Christ. The rest are what we sometimes call "pew sitters". They show up at church to look beautiful or maybe look for business contacts. Well, at least they're there and not out recuperating from a hangover.
